This place is so good! Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was quite busy, but the service was quick. We ordered the Strawberry Matcha, Lavender Matcha w/Einspanner Cream, and Coconut Mocha Latte. All the drinks were delicious! My favorite was the Lavender Matcha with the added Einspanner Cream because it was a perfectly balanced drink and the cream top was not too heavy but also not too thin. The cream top is an extra $1 but it's worth it. The inside is very minimalist, and there's tables and seating if you want to chit chat and hang out. I will definitely be back! read more

I came in because I saw they had a biscoff latte and I love cookie butter lattes! My husband ordered a strawberry latte for himself but neither of us liked that one but my biscoff latte was really good I got it with einspanner cream and that one was pretty good! Not a very friendly or inviting environment (in my opinion). Came when a guy was working and he just stared and looked miserable at us when we walked in. Wasn't very helpful when I had questions about the drinks. I got a ceremonial matcha with Einspanner cream top and when I got my drink he forgot my cream top.... It wasn't busy at all maybe Two customers (me included). When I told him about my missing cream top he looked at me stupidly like he didn't know what I was talking about. He then looked at my receipt and noticed he didn't make my drink correctly and just said "Oh" and added it. No "sorry"..nothing for the inconvenience.. Love it! The matcha was underwhelming I added vanilla syrup so it could be sweeter and honestly it wasn't sweet at all (at this point he probably forgot the syrup too). Would not go back again, complete waste of 9$ on a mediocre matcha. read more

The Einspanner is one of their Signature drinks. It is a latte with a dollop of their own recipe of homemade heavy cream. I ordered my latte with oat milk to minimize the stomach ache from the dairy but the heavy cream still had cow's milk in it. The cheddar cookies were savory cookies. They had a hint of cheddar that hits the palate just roght. The staff were friendly. The store was packed at 1pm on a Sunday. There were a wide range of customers and they had quite a few mobile orders. Turn around time was fairly quick. There was a table and chairs for my son and I. Here for the review of the Matcha Latte. I'm always on the hunt for great matcha latte wherever I am and whenever I can. I happened to be in the area and looked through yelp and tried to see some cafes with great ceremonial matcha. Stumbled upon this cafe and came in for the matcha. The color of the matcha looks strong and pretty green and not weak. Taste came to follow to be strong matcha and it's unsweetened as the way I like and drink my matcha. They have 2 different matcha profiles as stated in their menu. I will look into that and ask them what the difference in flavor is, if it's much difference or there's more sweetness in one. read more

One word- einspanner If you've never heard of/tried one before, flat white is the place to try it. It's a short latte with a delicious lightly sweetened cream on top. They definitely have the best one that I've ever tried and I keep coming back for more! If you don't like coffee, add the einspanner cream to any drink you like and you won't be disappointed. Ample parking, great service. Seating is a little limited because the space isn't too big so it's not the best place for a large group! read more

11/25/22 Spotted this shop when we put down our names at Country Cafe a few doors down. I was quoted 10-20 minutes wait so, why not, here we go again killing two birds with one stone. It's a small coffee shop that offers in-house freshly baked pastries. Probably not the type where one could get comfortable enough to study or get work done. The tables & chairs are reminiscent of IKEA furniture. So I'm guessing if you're pushing 101 lbs, you can expect it to break underneath. So watch out! A young man took at the counter took my order, a pleasant & amiable kind of guy. I opted to try a hazelnut latte with oat milk & an almond croissant--he offered to warm it up. As I was ordering a lady walks by with a tray full of freshly baked goodies (that's what prompted me to order the croissant). My latte was pretty good, a little too sweet for my taste. I should've stuck to my usual oat milk latte. The croissant was pretty good. It had almond paste, tasty. When you have tasted an almond croissant that almost sent you to heaven, nothing else quite compares. I'm talking about the ginormous almond croissant from Nugget in Elk Grove. It's a neat coffee shop & the staff are genuinely nice, hospitable. It was good try. read more

One of my favorite spots for matchas. It's located in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking. I like coming here in the mornings, the shop itself is really cute. It's a nice way to start off the week. Staff is friendly and there's plenty on the menu to choose from. If you don't know what to get, they'll have recommendations! I don't drink coffee, so I usually go to places with solid tea selection. My favorite drink here is the strawberry matcha - I get it with oat milk. The matcha was rich and the strawberry flavor is sweet, but not at all overwhelming. I could probably drink two cups of this in a day. Anyone I've been with gets coffee, so rest assured that the coffee here is great too. Haven't tried any of the pastries, so will need to come back for it another time. 5/5 would come again. read more

I have been here a few times, service was nice, drinks were decent. However, today I visited for the first time after a while, got a matcha einspanner and it tasted like pure milk. I asked if they could fix it because I wasn't going to pay almost $8 for milk. Then they said it's probably because it's unsweetened, which I was confused about because they didn't ask anything about whether I wanted unsweetened or sweetened (so I assumed it would be sweetened like any other matcha places). Said they would fix the drink, but they just added more syrup, making the drink tastes like sweet milk, not even a hint of matcha. My previous visits were rarely ever like this, so it might have just been a bad experience today. read more

This place is good. However, there is no variety when it comes to vegetarian/ vegan options in terms of food. My gf is vegetarian and can't really eat anything here. Also, their prices have gone up which is understandable. Just make sure you are transparent with everything. It shows you have good business practices and even better business ethics. We've been here a couple times and enjoyed it each time. Collectively, we've tried the Spanish latte, Einspanner, flat white, and hojicha latte. Spanish latte was good, but didn't quite hit the spot for my craving. Can't pinpoint it, but was lacking *something.* Definitely had it better elsewhere. I tried the Einspanner cuz the people in front of us in line were all getting it (yup, FOMO kicked in). It wasn't bad, but I think I'd stick with my regular hot coffees. He enjoyed the flat white, but was on the smaller side from what he's used to. You don't often see hojicha lattes in coffee shops, so I really wanted to try it here. I really enjoyed the roasted tea taste, but it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The drink was warm, at best when I ordered it hot. Also got it at 50% sweet, and it was still too sweet. Strong strong coffee. Had one sip of my sisters cup and def not flat. I personally would like it more on the sweet end but overall does it's job. This place is so cute from their merch to their logo and details on the cups, etc. I was disappointed that their ceremonial matcha latte tasted so milky and lacked match flavor/was a bit watered down. I got it sweetened with 2% and I was slightly confused why the non-ceremonial grade matcha latte was actually on the menu for $.25 more expensive? I assumed it should be the other way around. I also got their popular Einspanner and it was the better of the two, very solid but tons of cream on top where I ran out of the latte before I ran out of the cream and ideally there'd be a slightly better ratio! I could do with less cream. Overall I don't think I'd be back but I do appreciate their unique offerings and the friendly customer service. read more

Super nice cafe with friendly staff! They have plenty of drinks and pastries to choose from. The environment is very calm and seemed perfect for studying but there is limited seating. We got the bacon jalapeño cream cheese, einspanner and strawberry matcha. The jalapeño cream cheese was super soft and fluffy plus it was warmed as well! Id come back to try their other pastries. I personally don't like coffee so I found the einspanner to be extremely bitter and not sweet at all but my friend thought it was okay. The strawberry matcha was good but it didn't taste like matcha at all. It tasted just like strawberry milk with the slightest hint of matcha. read more

Both matcha drinks were made with their ceremonial powder, make sure to ask specifically for ceremonial matcha because they have a culinary one also.
