Went to flatbread with my family today and could not believe our waitress. We ordered multiple pizzas and only one came out. After we finished the one and all the other tables got serviced we flagged down our waitress to ask about the remainder. She did not return. Again asked her wait happened and after another five minutes or an hour in total she rudely said they are on their way. The manager finally came over and addressed the situation but don't understand why a restaurant keeps some who is rude to customers in a service industry. Sorry! read more

The Flatbread Company serves all natural, organic pizzas which they bake in a wood-fired clay oven which sits in one corner of their dining area. The resultant pizzas have a crispy thin crust and are topped with delicious ingredients. You can see the staff chopping and prepping the ingredients in the work area close to the clay oven. On our recent trip to North Conway we had the "Punctuated Equilibrium" pizza which was topped with fresh rosemary, Kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, red onions, garlic, and goat and mozeralla cheeses. I went here this summer with my mom seeking some gluten and soy free pizza. We were delighted when our server confirmed our expectations. This was my first Flatbreads experience. We started with a salad (very overpriced), but delicious. Next we both got pizzas (the more leftovers, the merrier!). My mom's featured chicken, caramelized onions and mushrooms; it has a specific name I cannot remember. My pizza featured steak, red onions, red peppers and olives. Her pizza was phenomenal, but mine needed to be cooked way more, I don't like to eat pink steak. Most gluten free pizza needs a few more minutes of cooking time than regular pizza. The wait time for the pizza was ridiculous, and we were so hungry when the pizzas came that I wasn't about to send mine back to be cooked more. Even though we walked out about 50 dollars poorer, it was a great to eat gluten free soy free pizza in a restaurant. It had the doughiest GF pizza crust I had ever tasted. Really good pizza! We had the chicken ranch pizza, which admittedly isn't my thing but I gave it a shot. It was really tasty and well balanced. The crust was a bit thicker than I thought a flatbread would be but it made no difference. It was great. We did takeout and while not their fault at all it was stone cold in the 10 minutes it took us to get to our place. The banana bread dessert is excellent! read more

Had dinner last night with my wife and we loved it so much we are going back tonight! We share a large pepperoni pizza, it is cooked in a woodstove oven and it is delicious!!!! Had great Local beer with it. Our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable. When I asked her where I could get the beer she did not hesitate to tell me where I could pick it up. My husband, daughter and I went Saturday night after a long day at StoryLand, and it was so good that we went again the next evening. I have a gluten allergy and our servers, Maiglin and Tyler, were knowledgeable and attentive. My daughter took to Maiglin immediately! Throughout both stays, we were very well taken care of. Tyler suggested a salad as a starter with our meals. My husband and I split one and it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients are so fresh and thoughtfully chosen, and most of them are gluten free, which gave me a ton of options. We had a wonderful time. You don't give too much credit when you walk by the door of this place until you step in and see from the inside. Great environment, the flatbread pizzas are very good and the staff are super friendly. If I could give 6 stars, I would be happy to do so. We tried this place while vacationing in North Conway on a beautiful warm September night (unusually warm in the 70s for time of year and NH). I asked to be seated outside because it was so nice out. They sat us at this table with these overly tall chairs with a tall table, so we are hovering over the table lol. My knees kept banging against the table. VERY uncomfortable! Come on, invest in some normal matching table and chairs. I notice an other couple was uncomfortable too and sat a lower table after some patrons left. Also, they might want to invest in an attractive fence or something because the view of the parking lot isn't really that fun. We ordered a salad to split at first. This guy brings a bowl of salad with no plates no utensils. I nicely asked , "Can you or the waitress please bring us some plates and forks, we are sharing." He kinda grunts, nods and walks off. Um, ok, not the friendliest dude in the world but Ok, its a nice night and we are on vacation. Our waitress was nice and friendly and brought us plates and forks and apologized. Salad was pretty good, locally sourced, organic. We then got the flat bread pizza with sausage, mushrooms. It was good and all but it was just so uncomfortable hovering over my food and hitting my knees on the table. So it took away from enjoying my food. Note that we are not overly tall or large people, im 5'6, he is like 5'10. So, not a complete disaster, just get some new fucking outdoor tables !!! lol read more

Have always had a great experience here. Love to watch all the activity going on as the pizza's are made..and the food is outstanding. Last weekend went in for dinner. The service was above and beyond what it usually is (and that is excellent)....Molly was terrific and attentive. We ate dinner here 2x. The first night was great - flatbread was crispy, service was great and we really enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately the 2nd night was a bit of a disaster. Service was off - drink order was completely wrong but on the positive side we got to try the lemonade which was good. The waitress was very nice but overwhelmed. It was very busy and there was a fundraiser going on making the dining area a bit hectic. The food was terrible. We had to send a flatbread back because it was not fully cooked... dough was soggy. The second flatbread that came out was no better. I think the cooking staff was overwhelmed with orders and tried to push food out as quick as possible. We went their two night in a row, both the food and the service were great both nights.

After a long hike with my boyfriend and pup we all needed to sit outside in the shade and relax. Loved how sweet everyone was to my pup, this place not only has a dog friendly patio but the wait staff is exceptionally caring in bringing out fresh water for the dogs they host. We had delicious pizza! My drink was decent and dessert was delicious. The patio is lined with a nice flower garden. Great service, food and atmosphere. We'll be back soon. read more

First of all, 45 minute wait on a Tuesday. Not their fault but it is what it is. I go to the bar and I ordered a glass of sangria. I watched the bartender mix the sangria in a martini shaker. I drank nearly half of my drink before I noticed that there was s huge chunk of glass missing from the rim. I let the bartender know and she remade me the drink again with the martini shaker! I told her "well let's hope I don't die tonight". She didn't seem amused. Finally my kids were too hungry so I asked the hostess if takeout was faster. She said it would be 35 minutes but that it would be faster because once we sat it would be that 35 minutes. So I decided to get take out. Back waiting at the bar, an obnoxious customer told my kids they were too loud. Btw, it was so loud in there that I couldn't talk to my mom with me. They weren't doing anything and at this point I think I was about to be the loud one. Finally take out comes. Another mom is shaking with frustration at how long she had waited for to be sat with her two year old. No response from anyone. She walks away and the hostess throws her hands up and says "not my fault". After all of this nonsense, I got out the door and saw a bench. I threw my overpriced pizzas on the table there and we ate them probably in a better scenario than inside. Even contemplated buying drinks at the gas station across the street. The pizza was good. $16 good? I dunno. I'm just worried I need to go to the ER tonight. I can't tell if it's gerd from pizza sauce, the sprite in the sangria, or glass shredding my stomach. Delicious. I had the harvest flatbread (butternut squash, cranberries, onions) and they easily accommodated my food allergy. My boyfriend had the Jay's Heart (classic cheese) and he nearly cried when he realized there wasn't any left. Service was quick and friendly. We are familiar with flatbread as we have a location close to home and love that they have vegan options which are delicious. I have to say that the server was very rude on the phone to me. They refused to let me grab and go a premade item at 9 PM because technically they close at 9 PM. Literally all they had to do was hand me a cookie that was already wrapped in front of me but they would not sell it. I think this may be my last straw with flatbread or at least this location. I have been there three times total including some big celebrations which we had large parties and both times my order has been completely messed up. I don't mind waiting for the food if it's good and the service here can be a little slow but that is understandable. Great Food, service is garbage. They're more focused on take out than in-house dining. As people who ordered pick up were flying out of the kitchen. Waited 45 minutes to be asked what we ordered, which was never put In to the kitchen, then had to ask how much longer for our food, for salad and pizza to come out 30 minutes later, ordered more drinks, never came, waitress had 4 tables, no excuse to be forgetting anything. COVID or not. I can't imagine how she would handle a full house, with every table filled in her section. Hostess was amazing, food amazing, service 2/10. I literally can't understand. read more

We came here tonight while visiting Conway. We have 4 + 5 year olds and are allergic to dairy. We came in at about 6pm on a Thursday night, were seated immediately, ordered 5 minutes later and our food came out 10 minutes after that. Extremely impressed with the speed and friendliness of the service! We ordered the vegan pizza and a vegan cheese pizza. Obviously it's a little overpriced if comparing to a 'fast food' type pizza, but for us it's amazing to have a pizza place with fresh vegan ingredients so we don't have to settle for mediocre cheese-less pizza.
