Decent pho place. However, it's disturbing that they literally nickel and dime their customers for every little thing. Want a bit more sauce? They'll charge you. Want some extra bean sprouts for your soup? That'll be another $2. I'm surprised they don't charge for napkins at this point. While I fully understand and can appreciate that this is a business, they should at least have the goodwill to disclose these costs upfront. 10/23/22 I'm conflicted. Read on. Had a hankering for pho & wanted to try shaking beef that I've been reading so much about. Our go tos are usually just tendon only pho & grilled pork bun w/ fried egg rolls, plus then we can compare it to Pho 2000's. Hubby was famished so we ordered additional items. He opted for shrimp fried rice & I chose the shaking beef w/ buttered rice. If we were to return here, it surely isn't for the pho or the bun, in comparison we prefer the one from Pho 2000. Hubby didn't care for the tendon pho because he said the tendon was much too chewy. I tasted it & it was indeed too chewy, not in a good way. The broth is not as flavorful either. My bun was a letdown because the noodles were overcooked or too soft. I had expected more veggies like fresh cut lettuce but were any. Even the fried egg rolls were not as good as Pho 2000. Can't put my finger on it but it just didn't taste as remarkably good as it's competitor. I had high hopes that it would be our new go to for pho & bun. Thankfully the other two dishes faired well, the shrimp fried rice & shaking beef w/ buttered rice. The only complaint, the portion on the fried rice was not impressive. Granted, hubby was really hungry but he ate the whole plateful. Normally fried rice dishes are meant to feed a family of four. But it was delicious. Hubby was extremely pleased with the shaking beef because it was so flavorful AND mouthwateringly tender. It was plump, juicy & savory. Oh and the butter rice was soft & 'buttery' as promised, great mouthfeel w/o it being greasy. I was half expecting the "buttery" to be off putting because I'm not used to adding butter in rice like one would with baked potatoes. One thing that bothered me was noticing the 2 staff that were walking around wearing gloves permanently (because they did not change them once while I was there). As a medical professional, I can't help but think that is so unsanitary. Basic concept is, they're protecting themselves all the whole NOT protecting the customers when they continue to touch the plates/bowls/food they deliver to the customers. Then proceed to making smoothies, handle cash register, etc. It's like putting gloves on to skip washing hands in between chores. Think about it, would you want a doctor or nurse take care of patients w/o changing their gloves in between patients? I know, worse comparison but you get what my point. It's a nice setting, looks clean & the decor is pleasing. Then you see their entire inventory or dry goods at the back of the restaurant. Boxes of plates, to go containers & utensils piled high almost to the ceiling are in plain sight. They could've used curtains or dividers, temporary walls, something. It's distracting to see a nice restaurant with some attention to detail of decor to end up an eye sore at the back of the restaurant. It's just odd. At the very least the servers were more attentive & try to be friendly to customers. Unlike Pho 2000 where you sit, they take your order, they drop off the food then drop off the bill, no frills, basic, usual. It's not a complaint, it's just--it is what it is. Food is a 10/10. Flavor Pho is definitely flavorful. It's been chilly and rainy, so that means pho time. I haven't been to any pho places in the area and there were many good reviews. I went on a Sunday night so it was definitely packed as many had the same idea as I did, but they called people quick. If you get there while it is packed just a heads up that parking is hard to find because there is a bunch of restaurants in the plaza so you're competing with them for some parking spots. Service was good and quick, but it was so quick that our drinks were forgotten about. When I informed them, the server was super quick on bringing them out. The spring rolls were delicious especially with the peanut sauce. The pho was the star of the show. The price is also good for what you get. This strip mall location is filled with many food options including an 85 degree bakery. So, expect the parking lot to always be packed. In the mood for Vietnamese food, we realized that we had never tried this spot. Only indoor dining is available with tables spaced apart. Not in the mood for Pho, we chose the rice combination dishes and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Grilled Pork and Eggrolls which comes with rice (sadly not broken rice) two decent sized eggrolls, a small salad, and broth. The pork was flavorful and cooked perfectly and the eggrolls were piping hot, crispy and delicious. I just wish the portion size of the pork given was a bit larger. The same can be said for the Grilled Beef and Shredded Pork Dish. Overall, a delicious meal, with excellent customer service. I've only eaten their vermicelli bowls here and it's very solid. I get the one with grilled beef, spring rolls, and grilled shrimp. Every component of the dish is great and it tastes like how my family would make it. I have yet to try their pho, but I am hesitant. My partner has eaten it and told me that it's okay. This place has been a staple for my family and me. After coming and taking out a bowl of Pho, this will be the last time I step foot in this restaurant for a very long time. When I took out the large Pho, as I took it outside to eat it right away, I was very disappointed to see the broth not very hot, thus leading to the beef not cooking. When I took out from Flavor Pho and other pho restaurants in the past and ate it right away, the broth was hot enough to cook the raw beef. I had to go back into the restaurant and ask them to warm up the broth, which I'm grateful they did, but imagine if I took this out to the park; I would have been in trouble. My only reason for a 3 star review is because the broth is good (slightly above average) but the appetizers and everything else is mid. If I'm in the area, I will order this pho for convenience. It's nice to have a decent pho place in the area. The inside was very modern and had a good vibe to it. I wasn't a huge fan of the prices, especially since most of the dishes that came out weren't really things I'd order again. It was very underwhelming. Every time I go to Vegas I always get my favorite meal which is Fried tofu vermicelli noodle salad. First of all Pho the soup is pretty much based around pork broth and I don't eat pork. Everybody has their pho spot. This is my family's pho spot. Service is excellent. All of the servers are kind and attentive to getting you everything you need. Parking is tricky - but that's because the majority of the parking lot is at the bakery, the sushi spot or the Korean bbq. They should be at this pho spot. Food - I've had the beef pho, the fried spring rolls, the pork chops, the grilled chicken - everything was delicious. The beef pho is healing. It is what we call in Spanish - levanta muertos! I also ask for extra lime and jalapeños. Service is also super quick. You aren't waiting around hungry. They get right down to business. This is a family friendly restaurant. Since my last review about a year ago, I've come back to eat at Flavor Pho numerous times. And since it's been a decent while, I think it is time to make a revisit review. I came into the restaurant to order takeout on a Friday night around 7PM to see a full restaurant with almost all of the tables packed. Seems like the restaurant was doing well at the time. Immediately, I decided to order a Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli as the vermicelli dishes are some of my personal favorites to get at a Vietnamese restaurant. At the time of this review, the Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli cost around 12.50 at the time of this review. A short note, the parking lot for Flavor Pho can get very packed on the weekend as there are many other popular restaurants in the same center as Flavor Pho. If the main parking lot is full, many people park next door at the Aldi's/Big Lots parking lot. The food was ready in about 15 minutes time which was pretty quick all things considered, especially for a Friday night. Opening the box, the ingredients were separated into three sections: A condiment section with the side of peanuts, a Vietnamese sweet sauce; a vegetable section with julienned cucumbers, diced pickled carrots and daikon, and bean sprouts; and the main section with the vermicelli noodles, egg rolls, and grilled pork. Though it might not look like a large portion at first glance, the box is larger than the average flat takeout box. For this quantity of food at a 12.50 price tag, the quantity for the price given is of really great value! It isn't large enough to last for two meals, but it can definitely fill up for one! It's no joke either that Flavor Pho has....well.....flavor. All the while, flavor pho also has a multitude of fresh ingredients at its disposal. The cucumber was nice and moist, with a good amount of liquid in it. The bean sprouts were also fresh and weren't soggy despite being pair with the other moist vegetables. The pickled carrots and daikon really helped to add a hint of sugary sweetness in the food that gave another layer of flavor on top of the sweetness of the marinade. The vegetables in all were nicely made. In the main category, the thin rice noodles were also a perfect level of moist as they pulled pretty easily and were not stuck to each other. The flavor was neutral and served as a good baseline to the dish. The egg rolls were great as well, adding a nice crispy bite to the dish. The composition of what seemed like pickled carrots and daikon with pork was palatable and felt light, which was impressive since egg rolls are usually heavily fried. Last and finally, the peanuts and pork together were a pleasure to eat. The pork had sear marks on the surface which indicated it was left on the grill for awhile, but also had juicy and sweet liquid exiting. The flavors lingered in the mouth and had great aftertaste because the barbecued flavor mixed with the marinade. For this update of Flavor Pho, I definitely still think they deserve their 5 star rating from my previous review! Staff were still just as accommodating despite the pandemic slowly fading into the distance. The price to portion ratio is very good as the average for a dish like this can be as much as 13 or 14 dollars before tax at most other places. One of my favorite pho places in the area. I usually get the P1, which is the combo pho. Each and every time I have been here the pho has been consistent in taste and flavor. I am never disappointed. Additionally, if you have a little one, this is one of the few places with a kids' menu for pho and it always makes my daughter happy to be able to get a pho that she can finish all by herself and not need to take any home. This spot is located in a busy shopping complex with a lot of other restaurants, so parking can be really bad sometimes. However, this location, even when busy, is quick. I don't think I've ever had to wait longer than five minutes for a table. read more

This was my go to spot to have breakfast because the broth is so tasty and it's not oily. They give out fresh herbs and good size portions. You could ask for egg noodles as well. Now for the reason for the 3 stars is because the lady working there is always rude. She's not welcoming and replies rudely. Time and time I have given this place a chance because I do like the pho and the friendly man that works there but I will not be returning it's not worth my day being ruined by her.
