Service started good but then they got busy and he didn't ever come back to check on us much. I'm not sure why their server was waiting on 2 completely different ends of the restaurant. The cocktail was super weak (beer probably would have had more ABV %). The burger was delicious so that was the only saving grace (there is an upcharge for cheese and bacon). They didn't give us chips with the burger like they were supposed to. We asked for a side of cheese grits and they gave us that Instead of the chips but we were charged for it. If you like watching sports they have a ton of large TVs with sports on and a lot of fans.

Note on wait-times - Fri/Sat. Nights.. .. U gonna wait! ;/ This place too popular, sitting on Talahi Island off Bull River. Provide comfortable waiting area, with cushioned couches and comfy deck chairs, near entrance, to chill and hang w locals. Inside dining area very active and busy, tons o locals and Savannah visitors for sure; Bar area slightly more relaxed, with three cute ones in the bar tab; Local cover band (ok) plays most Fri/Sat nights I thinks. The enchanting Bloody Mary hit the Spot, for the mood :) Go fer if haven't had one in awhile, Thank me lata.. Food is excellent- Always gets the Fried Oyster Platter (make sure to drench w TX Pete) w Cheez Grits & Tomato Salad.. ;) Anything on the menu rox.. mahi, Fried oysters, flounder.. Locals reco the crab legs and boils of course

Woah! What I hidden gem in Bryan County. Similar to the Wyld, but much more seating and options when it gets chilly (or so it looks). Tons of options for food, which is great for groups of people with different taste. The service is lovely, you can tell management does a good job training staff. Parking can be tricky, but it looks like you can park across the strew in the marina parking lot. My fav place to sit is at the bar for better views, but any seat is a good seat.

    Low Country Boil

We had the low country boil for two. It was more than enough for two as we took half home and had another meal of it. The shrimp and sausage were great. The corn and potatoes were also quite good. It was a quiet lunch with no crowd there.

    Fried Flounder Dinner for 2

Husband and I stopped here on our way from Tybee Beach. When we arrived, only a handful of people were in the patio area, but by the time we left it was getting crowded. We ordered the Flounder for 2 dinner and half of it was really good. The fish and coleslaw were great, but the hush puppies and grits were a huge NO!! The waiter was very attentive. For first timers like us, the hostess area is in front of the patio. We walked up the ramp and stood by the bar for a few minutes before someone told us to go down to the front.

Staff was friendly, the roof was being worked on and things were flying everywhere. They did let us move because we had a larger party. Ordered the low country boil, the potatoes had a weird texture and the food was overseasoned.

We came here twice on our vacation. Friendly staff and great food. I wish we sat outside because that's where it seemed to be more lively.

The chicken-fried lobster was excellent. The butter beans and collard greens were outstanding, and the cheddar grits were out of this world! The sweet potato ravioli was also very good. The fish special was good, although it tasted a little fishy for our preference. Dessert was a great finish to the meal. We were able to eat downstairs in the basement, which was such a treat given the history of the building. The atmosphere, food, and service made it a memorable Savannah experience. It reminds me a bit of the Goblin Market in Mount Dora, only not as busy with the decor. Service is top notch and I believe reservations are required, although I'd HIGHKY recommend reserving in advance either way. We reserved the night prior and only 9pm was available, which is way later than we usually eat. Anyway, we ordered the she crab soup, shrimp and grits, corn bread fried oysters, sweet potato ravioli, and the chef's fried chicken. Our favorite was the Shrimp and grits, but really every bite of every dish was amazing. After the horrendous meal we had earlier at the River House, it was truly a delight to have my already high expectations for Olde Pink House not just met, but blown away! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

I managed about ten, and everything was well prepared, generous, and full of flavor. The hospitality is off the charts. You need to come early at least a half hour as the line quickly grows. You sit and eat family style. The host will assign you to your table with others to fill it up. 8 to a table. There is sweet tea waiting for you and dish after dish of goodness! Then they bring out the fried chicken on platters. 21 different bowls of southern dishes- okra, rutabagas, greens, beans, corn, biscuits and corn bread.... Oh my there was a lot. You will not go hungry as the staff are near each table and bringing refills of items needed. Then when you've had your fill, they bring by peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top and/or banana pudding! They take cash or check only. They thankfully had an ATM inside. But the man at the cash register said we could leave and go to our own bank if we wanted and come back to pay!! That wouldn't happen at very many places. Southern hospitality, great food, memories- it is all here. Don't miss this place when you come to Savannah!!

Looking back, we probably should've kept right on walking. We ordered the fried chicken, potato wedges, red rice, New Orleans rice, and cabbage, jalapeno cornbread and pecan cornbread. Unfortunately, the only things we actually enjoyed were the fried chicken and the potato wedges. Once again, it was an epic fail. The cabbage tasted like it had been boiled in plain water with absolutely no seasoning. Both the red rice and the New Orleans rice reminded us of Minute Rice or Uncle Ben's microwavable rice--bland, lacking flavor, and nothing like the rich, seasoned rice dishes we were expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly, but those two items weren't enough to save the meal. We came hoping for authentic Southern comfort food, but left disappointed. Sadly, this is one restaurant we won't be adding to our list of places to revisit.

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.

The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong.
