We also had the berry salad was which my friend thought was exceptional. He also thought Fletchers was very clean. Taylor was great! However the dbl tequila soda was weak. And as a Fletchers guy(all of them) the chicken tenders were small, over cooked and I should've sent them back. The manager or whatever he is that walks around greeting people is so obnoxiously loud, he went to all the tables around us except ours, he greeted my husband on the way out. I like to give good reviews but let this be a warning to any folks considering eating here. Here were our dishes and what we thought: Garlic Parmesan Bites (app) - $10: pretty tasty but undercooked. Fletcher's Reuben - $14: The saltiest corned beef I've ever eaten. Something is wrong with it. Otherwise average. Warm Roasted Broccoli Salad w/ Salmon - $23: A small bowl of practically *raw* broccoli with a pretty small piece of salmon on it. Crazy for $23. Giant wow Nachos - $17. These looked delicious. Unfortunately they tasted vaguely like SOAP. And the good stuff was all on top, under the top layer it was just plain chips. THEN TO TOP IT OFF, they add a 4% unexplained fee to the bill. I can't remember what they call it exactly. I asked the server to have it removed and she said "they won't let them." This is not shown anywhere on the menu. I'm not sure it is even legal. Obviously we won't be returning, and I suggest you rethink eating there. read more

Absolutely hate it when I feel like I'm getting screwed. This was my experience today. Between my wife and I we had a salad shrimp appetizer and 4 beers for $48 before tip. The salad and krill size shrimp were ridiculously small, and I am not a big eater. The beers sent me over the edge when I got the bill. The atmosphere is good. The food is good bar food. The mixed drinks are very very weak. Doubles cost twice as much as two singles and are still weak. We had a horrible experience that falls on management. I went there with a group of friends. One of my friends and I ordered a shrimp dish. We were the only ones who ordered it. By the time we arrived home she and I had severe cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. I later spoke with the general manager. He was totally indifferent, indignant, rude and demeaning. He told me it couldn't have happened. He implied that I was lying and was trying to rip him off for a free meal. Fletchers.....NEVER again!! read more

We've been here recently a few times just to hang out with friends and have a few drinks and apps. I have gotten to know the GM "Ferg," who is a larger than life kinda guy who treats everyone with a big ole personality. They have a beer of the month that is kinda blah, like Michelob or whatever and a micro of the month, that is pretty good. This month, it is Accumulation IPA. Each is on special for like a buck off. Specials run for each day of the week on food, and if there are any tables on a weekend, you're lucky. read more

Had the pretzel bites as an appetizer and split the perch basket. The pretzel bites were good, though many of them the cheese was cooked out of them--still enjoyed the pretzel bite, though. I had so much hope for this place. I have been to their other Kalamazoo location on Oakland drive several times , but I had hoped for better from this location. When you first walk in, you get a great open atmosphere with a cool bar. Unfortunately that's where it ends. The food was atrocious. The crust on the pizza was some airy disgusting mess. I don't know how they make it, but it was absolutely awful. I get pizza everywhere I go because I absolutely love it, but I would never recommend this disaster and I could never come up with enough negative words to say about it. I went to Fletchers for dinner with my family over the weekend. The food was fantastic but I must say, there was on person that threw me off from my experience. I had our food brought to us by a person I later found out was the GM of the restaurant. She was rude, short and didn't maintain eye contact or smile. It just surprised me because I've only ever encountered friendly people there. I understand, maybe it was a bad time or a bad day. But I was kind and bubbly and the interaction was off-putting. The last few times we've ordered from Fletchers in Texas Corners it has been absolutely awful. I paid $10 for the Bubbler appetizer and this is how it came. The food at this restaurant is cafeteria quality at best. I'm is conveniently located for us, but I have struggles to find anything that tastes decent, with the exception of the pizza. I tried the warm broccoli salad with chicken. The broccoli was not cooked and was barely warm. It also had a slight plastic taste. I ate the rest of the desk besides the broccoli. My husband had an underwhelming blackened chicken salad that we could've made at home for about $1.25. if you're looking for a bar to belly up at, the drinks are fine. Unfortunately you can't do negative stars... We were excited to try the new location, so we went for lunch today. We were seated right away and placed our order. My husband ordered the the Western burger and requested no lettuce or tomato. My daughter and I split the Turkey , Avocado, and Bacon sandwich. This was a favorite for us at the old location because they actually used fresh sliced turkey, not the processed rolled turkey. Our food finally arrived about 30 minutes. The first thing my husband noticed was that the burger had lettuce & tomato on it but not the haystack onions. The waitress apologized & went to get the onions. He started to eat one of the tater tots & found a black hair on his plate! I had taken one bite of my sandwich and found a hair sticking out of my sandwich! The waitress returned with the haystack onions so we showed her both of our plates. She was very apologetic and offered to have our meals replaced. By this time we had both lost our appetites. We told her no thanks. I thought a manager would come right over to speak with us. After at least five minutes the waitress came back to tell us that the meals would be comped. I said they should be since we didn't eat it. She stated that one of the managers was going to come over and speak with us. After another five minutes, she came over and apologized and told us the meals would be comped. I again stated that they should be because they weren't eaten! She just smiled. I would have thought they would have offered a coupon to have us come back and try them again. Needless to say they obviously didn't care and we won't go back. read more

I normally would give a higher rating but this experience was NOT great. There were 6 of us for lunch. It was not even 12:00 p.m. Not very busy at all. We ordered and it took a little while to get our food 45 minutes. Two others in our party showed up 15 minutes after we did and ordered. We waited and waited, nothing. We asked the waitress three times about the order. The second time she said she did not see the ticket, don't worry, and she asked again what was ordered. Now, I can accept if someone makes a mistake but just tell us you forgot to put the order in, not keep going back acting as if you are checking on an order. We ended up canceling the order that I don't even know was close to being done, getting our bill and leaving. I can say we were disappointed!
