It reminded me of an apple pie through and through! I wish the apples had a little more bite to them though because it was hard to get a clean bite. By the end, I was really eating apple flavored pastry because I had accidentally pulled all the slices out already! The briochette was fluffy and I was ally enjoyed the candied orange peel on it. It imparted a nice fragrance with no bitter notes. We also shared a canelé which featured that delectable caramel crust with the perfect custardy center, it's so hard to make and yet Sarmentine just kept them coming! The only part of our meal that was a bit meh were the drinks. My mocha was certain milk forward which probably ended up masking the espresso and chocolate. The matcha latte boyfriend had was generous on matcha powder but it didn't quite have the same body as others tried lately. Still, when you're on your way to the vineyards from Santa Rosa, this is a great little stop to pick up some food to go!

It shows you what is available in your area, and, of course, I noticed Paris Baguette was the first thing to pop up when you put in 'bakery,' or at least it does in my area. Literally everything that I have ever ordered here, is absolutely divine. My all-time favorite is the chocolate supreme croissant, which has half of it dipped in chocolate, with the little chocolate crunchy balls on it and inside, filled with chocolate cream. I made sure I got a good picture for you. You can see it is absolutely delicious, and I'd rather not share those at all lol. Don't forget to order the coffee danish. It's crispy and sweet and fluffy inside, and don't forget to dip it in your coffee, and it is perfection. better than a biscotti in my opinion. Ambience, I couldn't tell you other than I've seen it on the website, and it looks fine, but now that I know that I can get it through Grubhub. I'll only go there if I happen to be nearby, otherwise GrubHub it will be. All I can say is, if you like croissants, this is your spot, and if you have Amazon, they don't charge you any fees because they put it on your card. I got my first meat pie today, I got a steak cheese and jalapeño meat pie and it was so good! The jalapeños were the tiniest spicier than I would have liked but it was still very enjoyable and I ate the whole thing! I also got the orange biscotti and it was also delicious! Their sweet pastries are also delicious and they have a few specialties there as well. The service here is great and everyone is helpful. On today's visit, my wife and I shared their spicy vegetable pie, which was actually pretty spicy! It had a strong, tangy tomato flavor with a lot of spice! We also shared a fruit galette that had a lot of berries and pear on it. Lastly, we got their tan square which has a short bread base and then a thick, butterscotch and nuts top.
