We ordered a few things. Most i didn't get pictures of. 2 classic breakfast, 1 French toast flight and 1 wing flight. We wanted to grab something before we got on our long plane ride back home. The food wasn't bad. The bacon was extra crispy almost burnt the breakfast potatoes were a bit over fried but still okay. The server was good, she was swamped so it took her a minute to get to us. But she apologized immediately and our food and drinks came pretty quickly. I think this place is hyped by social media, but the food wasn't bad. My wife and I decided to come here because it was conveniently located next to where our show was going to be as we had tickets to see The Metalist. I order a burger while my wife had order a sandwich. We both thought our food was slightly above average. We would certainly come back but it wasn't memorable enough to get us to go out of our way to return. My wife also order the daiquiri flight. The daiquiri flight was $24, which was slightly high for my taste. They seem to draw in crowds with advertisement for their daily $10 flights special. Not sure if the special is ever the daiquiri flight but the special for the night we went was beer and wine flights. Flights is a restaurant we always go to when we're in Vegas. I love the concept of the restaurant and being able to get food in flights - it's excellent for an indecisive person like me who can't decide between multiple items on the menu! My favorite flights have been the barbecue ribs, the Mac and cheese, and the empanadas. Also, with everything being pretty pricey in Vegas, you can't go wrong with the happy hour deal - a cocktail flight for $10! My absolute favorite is the mango jalapeño margarita. It's such a great way to sample different flavors without having to spend too much or order huge portions. If there's something you don't care for, you're not going to be out the price of a whole dish or end up wasting a ton of food. Service has always been good and I've never had an issue with the restaurant being overly crowded or noisy. Definitely a place to try when you're on the Strip! read more

I want to start by saying that I'd heard nothing but rave reviews about this restaurant from a friend. With that being said, I had high hopes in the food I was to be served, but I had a less than satisfactory dining experience. My boyfriend and I were hanging out on The Strip, and initially we were going to have lunch at Cabo Wabo Cantina. As we walked through the mall to get to our destination, I saw the sign for Flights. I had remembered the rave reviews a former friend had spoken about, so we decided to give this place a try instead. Upon approaching the hostess stand for their wait time (it was about 10:30 AM on a Saturday morning), we had gotten a really stand-offish vibe from both hostesses. The hostess stated there was no wait, so we were seated right away. No wait at a place like this on a Saturday morning in Vegas? Awesome! We were handed the menus, and the first thing that caught my eye was the mimosa flight. As we were waiting about 15 minutes for our waitress to even ask for our drinks, my partner & I decided to order 2 sets of the mimosa flights, their hash skillet flight, the chicken and waffles, a side of scrambled eggs, & their mac & cheese flight. I cannot complain about the wait time of food as all of our order was placed right in front of us less than 10 minutes after we'd ordered. The mimosas were spot on & absolutely great. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken & waffles, & the mac & cheese flight was exceptional - minus their truffle, garlicky flavored mac that we did not favor at all. The hash skillets weren't very flavorful, as I found myself adding more & more salt & pepper. Nonetheless, the hash skillets were very underwhelming. During our meal, our waitress was very inattentive. Throughout our entire visit, she had only come around to ask how we were doing maybe once before we had asked her for the bill. My partner & I needed to request salt & pepper, as well as, some hot sauce. The closest employee we could find to assist us was one of the hostesses, & her response was rather rude. "I am not a waiter, & I'm seating people right now so you need to wait." Mind you, she said this & still ended up returning with the items we requested from her. After we heard that response, we were definitely ready to go & my partner's patience had grown very thin with the employees. All in all, I don't think I'll be returning nor recommending this place. I felt very let down after leaving, and we definitely regretted not spending our $100+ bill at Cabo Wabo. The 2 stars is for the amazing mimosas, chicken & waffles, & the 2/3 mac & cheese we had. Landed in Vegas, got checked in to our room, and decided to look around for a spot to have drinks and a quick bite. Flights caught our interest because of the drink special. We get there and, literally, we see our server one time in 32 minutes! We waited so long for service after being seated, we were ready to order by the time the server showed up. We ordered the skewers "flight" and the tacos "flight". When the food arrived (brought by a runner, not our server), the chicken and beef skewers were over cooked and bland. The ahi tacos were quite tasty. But - still no server. We were out of water and unable to order drinks. I got the manager's attention, explained the situation, and to her credit, she took 25% off our bill. Excellent recovery attempt. And for that matter, my wife got more food than I did. In reality, three little bites each of three different foods. I actually only had two bites of one, so eight bites for me. Steak was like shoe leather. Not a great value for $22. One daughter liked her French toast, although they were out of bananas, so she only got a variety of two instead of three. The other daughter thought her mile-high sandwich was good, but it wasn't actually that thick, and she didn't feel compelled to eat most of the second half, so guessing it wasn't the best sandwich ever. My bf got the mojito flight and it was also good. My mom got the margarita flight and i didn't care for it but if you like the taste of cheap tequila you'd probably like it. The servers aren't dressed like flight attendants the way I thought they would be. And they play top gun movie on the tvs. But onto the food, we ordered the Mac & cheese flight, fry flight, shrimp flight, bbq ribs, and slider flight. Most of the food lacked flavor or seasoning. I tried everything except the ribs because I don't eat pork. My mom and bf said the ribs were the best item ordered and it did look like the meat fell right off the bone. The fry flight is decent- it's fries. The shrimp flight was my favorite, specifically the coconut and popcorn shrimp were good. The Mac & cheese is what we all were most excited for the it had absolutely no flavor at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend the Mac & cheese flight. The sliders were okay, simple and basic. If you want a good flight of drinks then this place is great for you! They have a different happy hour each hour of different flights and we went during the end of mimosa hour! My friend wanted the Old Fashioned flight and paid full price and loved it! It came in such a cute presentation. The place is nice too and they play pilot movies in the background. Our server was a sweet girl and she explained how Flights worked on the menu. My friend did say that the sliders surprised him because the Buffalo slider is actually really spicy. Enter: Flights! Located in the amazing Miracle Mile Shops, Flights is an airplane-themed restaurant with open seating where you can people-watch while enjoying your cocktails. They specialize in flights of pretty much everything, for just $10 during happy hour. Yes, $10 for the whole flight - it was a great deal and, more important, the drinks were tasty! I went with a large group so I was able to view a variety of their flights - from beer to wine to mojitos they pretty much have it all. I opted for the Mule Flight, which was served in adorable little mini copper mugs. We also enjoyed a couple of appies with the group, and the service was friendly and fast. Barely made their mid week happy hour and I enjoyed my local craft beer flight (7-8oz each x3) which included an Amber, an IPA, and a Hefewezian all for the very reasonable happy hour price of $10. My buddy enjoyed his mule flight. Our Ceviche sampler (salmon, tuna, & shrimp) was very uninspiring and bland tasting. The star of the show however was our waitress Nicole. I rarely leave bad reviews but this place earned it both for quality of the food and service. I don't know how or why this place has over a two star review but my guess is that it's got something to do with the alcohol. The alcohol menu and alcohol flights are a bargain but the food is disgusting and overpriced. Over salted, dry, chewy, and in the case of our salad flight, the dressing was rancid on the Caesar salad. We ordered three flights, the sliders, wings, and the salad flight. The buffalo wings were spicy and over salted, the salt and pepper were ok, and the honey were mediocre at best. The cheeseburger slider was good but the bbq pork and the buffalo chicken were chewy, dry, and the flavors were horribly unbalanced. The buns tasted stale. The salad flight was by far the best with the caprese and wedge stealing the show. Considering the Cesar salad had rancid dressing on it, the fact that THAT was the best dish speaks volumes. Now... the service... basically as soon as they find out you're not ordering alcohol, they're ignoring you. Took us an hour and a half to complete our meal despite finishing in 40 minutes and waiting for attention to address the disgusting salad and get the bill. Very frustrating considering it was very slow and when we were seated there were only four tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Long story short DO NOT recommend unless you're just coming for the booze or need shitty bar food to sober up. read more

And what's even better, is the quality of food and flavor of each item. This restaurant has made our list of MUST STOP BY places to eat. The HERO and my most favorite things I ate was the spicy Buffalo sandwich in the Slider Flight. The spice was perfect, the sauce clung to the chicken in expert-fashion and the pickles added such a necessary change in taste profile and texture! It was by far my favorite food item! The burger included in the Slider Flight was cooked perfectly! I could taste the grill and every ingredient added such a nice solid-burger taste I search for with every burger purchase! We also ordered the salad flight and salads can get ruined without some good, fresh greenery! The iceberg lettuce in the Caesar and wedge salads was of some of the crunchiest, snappiest most delicious quality I've had! It was beautiful and so tasty! My husband and I also ordered a wine flight each...and we definitely could have shared one. However, that didn't deter our beautiful experience. After reviewing several on the Strip, I ended up selecting Flights Restaurant By Alex Hult. The reservation was booked through Yelp and added a few additional comments to the reservation. The reservation was at 11:00 A.M on a Friday. Flights Restaurant by Alex Hult is located in the Miracle Mile Shops. You can park at the Miracle Mile parking garage, which is free. To get here, you can take the I-15 to Flamingo, merge onto Las Vegas Blvd and take Harmon to get to the self parking for the Miracle Mile Shops. Once inside, you can go to the 3rd floor, and Flights Restaurant by Alex Hult is located at 350, next to the V-Theatre. It was quite empty when we had arrived at 11:00 A.M, brunch time. We provided our reservation and the hostess wished us a happy 1 year anniversary. We were seated and provided Champagne drinks. This was really sweet of the restaurant! Flights restaurant is a tapas style selection, where you order a variety of food and you can share it with your companions. The restaurant also offers entrees as well, but we ended up selecting several tapas style offerings. There was a unique twist on the food selections.
