The best donuts you ever need are RIGHT HERE!! I've been here twice this month, and they can't ever disappoint. Although the line was long, the workers are full of life and do their work perfectly to accommodate the customers. Their communication between one another is flawless, and they're all so professional!! The cashier is the kindest woman ever, granted a little sassy, but in the best way possible! The inside is so welcoming and inviting, it reminds me of small town mom and pop that I grew up around. The coffee stations are always cleaned, there no flies even though the door is constantly opening and closing, and they even have tables and chairs both indoors and outdoor for those who need seating. There's also a nice interactive spot to the right of the hot coffee bar where you can put a push pin in where you came from! It's all filled up, so I'm waiting desperately for a new map to get put up . Another thing I noticed was the notes of appreciation written to the shop! It was so heartwarming to know that so many people were positively impacted by this shop, it's amazing!! To address the long line, well, it's long for a reason. These donuts are the best, yummiest, fluffiest, softest donuts I think I've ever had. I've seen people lined up here everyday when I drive past, even in the rain, and I understand why. Sadly we just didn't have a great experience. We went on July 5th and they were sold out of everything except glazed. We were so looking forward to our crazy, decadent vacation doughnuts. The ladies were very apologetic but in being a savvy business owner it would have been a good move to let customers know through FB that only glazed would be available that day (we would have waited another day) or expect to be mobbed over a holiday weekend and prepare for that. Was excited to try these donuts after driving by it multiple times in a week. They're pretty good! A little bit on the sugary side - which - I realize it is a donut...but more sugary than the average in my opinion. The wait was a little long, but only because there was one person working someone in front of us ordered at least 2 dozen donuts. You can order online, but need to do it before a certain time. Recommend if you have a large order... They do currently have a capacity limit of 6 people. It's a small space, so nice to have it limited so there isn't over crowding. read more

Were the donuts good? Yes! Was it worth AN HOUR WAIT? Absolutely not. Don't let the line outside the door fool you. Once you get inside the wait is still excruciatingly long. The cashier was fine & doing a great job. I have no idea what is going on behind the counter, but that is clearly where the hold up is. The staff who were filling the donut orders were clearly having an extremely hard time keeping up. It's nice to have a giant variety of donuts, but that's probably most of the problem. They should probably concentrate on having a limited standard menu of donuts with a very limited specialty donut menu that rotates weekly. The people in line were waiting so long that they were ordering more than they came in for because they wanted to make it "worth the wait" because it was taking forever. I suppose it was miscommunication. DH got a Boston cream and a cinnamon cake. he was not fond of the Boston cream but cannot give a definitive explanation of what the issue was. how ever we both agree that the cinnamon cake was absolutely delicio. There was about 20 donut varieties to choose from today, plus Apple fritters. I bought a couple dozen donuts and a couple Apple fritters for our families at the beach. The adults and children all enjoyed their donuts. They were very good and the Apple fritter was my personal favorite, they are very large, so definitely shareable. I have vacationed the past 3 years on EI. Each year we go to this shop for the wide variety and extremely delicious options! This year, I arrived 30 minutes early and was 10th in line. The shop does a great job having large quantities available for multiple customers with large orders. The donuts and bagels are so yummy, especially a new option this year of Maple Cinnamon! So I studied ahead and knew there was going to be a line when I went, which was about 9am. It's not bad, moves fairly quickly and if your lucky you'll meet some cool folks as well. We have a big group on vacation so I got one of each donut (the day I was there that was 22 donuts) and we cut them up and had a donut tasting. Every single one was delicious, so fresh and soft. Yum! We visited today after a snow/ice storm last night so it wasn't busy. Ordered six donuts and came home to a surprise of two bonus donuts! Owner was super friendly and the donuts were delicious. We ended up trying all cake donuts. They were dense, but moist and flavorful. Our favorites were the blueberry. Would happily come back and sample some more flavors!
