You can only order online and it forces you to order extra items or you can't check out. Example: We ordered biscuits with our meals and the site forces you to purchase special spreads for $1 each or you cannot check out ! We had to put in a tip or we couldn't check out. I work in the service industry so I preferred to tip cash but wasn't allowed. You can't ask any questions because there is no phone number and they don't respond to emails. And its about 20.00 for 1 meal sandwich fries drink. Which we wouldn't mind paying if all of the other things weren't wrong. Hands-down the most delicious fried chicken sandwich he will ever have in your entire life, and that's a promise. The OG chicken sandwich with the pickles and ranch, although it doesnt seem like much is absolutely everything!!! It's the perfect balance of acid from the pickle with creamy ranch and the fried chicken is crisped to perfection. I genuinely can't say enough. But that being said if you don't want the OG and you want to be a little adventurous, they have a few other flavor combinations that go up in their heat level. The Nashville hot is delicious, but so is the angry bird.. as much as I like big bold flavors, I still can't get over how simple but delicious and perfect the OG is and thats why its my typical go to whenever I frequent flip the bird! I got the PCH and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever tried and I don't even go crazy for fried chicken, but this one was top notch. The place was full of people waiting for their order, but they move fast, I think we were in and out in about 15 minutes. Swampscott location - so good and great work with COVID restrictions. Got two orders of chicken and waffles. I wasn't sure how it came so for anyone curious, chicken on waffles with great amount of maple butter, maple syrup and hot honey is separate plastic containers. Ordered through the website and got email with expected time. Food was ready within one minute of that even on a busy and hot Sunday at 12:15pm. You wait outside as only allowing 1 person in at a time. Then go in and give name and get a bag of delicious food. Meal kept well on the five minute drive home and was so delicious. The workers are friendly and sincere, sometimes there's a wait so you'd be better off ordering online for pickup then waiting. However even if you did wait it would be worth it. Excellent choices, the tenders and the Nashville hot are unreal. I do wish they'd make snack wraps with their tenders and think they're sorely missing out on a simple (you already have the ingredients just need tortillas!) and awesome addition to the menu. I'm torn with this review - and maybe it's my fault because there was so much anticipation behind trying this place. I grew up in Beverly and watched so many people rave about this place. So after many months, my husband and I finally decided to give it a shot. First off, I think both my husband and I agreed that we didn't order off the menu great. He ordered a custom sandwich with just honey butter and said it needed a little bit more. I ordered the PCH (I think it's called) - with bacon, avocado and slaw. While I thought the chicken itself was delish, I found that it had too much going on in terms of flavor, I wasn't a huge fan of the slaw, and it got soggy quick. The fries were the standout part of the meal. They were very good. But then YUCK to the truffle ketchup. No thanks. I'd say I'd give them another chance. Next time I'll try and choose more wisely what I order. read more

Sadly, not a great experience. Staff were ill prepared; they ran out of half the items we inquired about, including soda, so we brought in bottled water from the car. Our order got lost in the shuffle, so we endured a frustrating delay and the food was less than satisfactory. The chicken is too thin and as a result, overcooked when fried. $3.50 for skimpy amount of french fries. They request table service sized tips during payment for (bad) counter service. Open concept plan allows you to see employee action and conduct; definitely not pleasant. The music is disproportionately loud for a very small space. I love their spicy chicken sandwiches. But after being open only a few months, they are, sadly, cutting corners. The fries are frozen and bland (even with the side sauce). And the lemonade used to be great, made of fresh lemons, water and sugar. A recent glass was clearly made from some pre-made industrial mix dreck. Have came here twice and the chicken sandwiches are really tasty! Quick turn around as well when it comes to ordering. I would recommend the Angry Bird sandwich if you like spicy. The Bayou sauce is really tasty as well. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 starts is because I truly don't believe you should be selling a single chicken sandwich for 8 and then have to add fries and next thing you know you're paying $12 for a sandwich and fries without a drink. Definitely, think management should consider on changing that. You have too much competition around the area - to have a bad deal like that. As a vegetarian, this is not a place I would've ordinarily given a second glance, but when I found out it was owned by the same people as Marino's, we had to try it. We're glad we did! The biscuits were fluffy, enormous, and delicious. The slaw was fresh and very tasty. My 5-year-old polished off her entire adult-sized OG, and then proceeded to finish the second half of her brother's Early Bird, since he'd filled up on ribs and slaw. Enough said. One minor suggestion: I could easily subsist on the slaw, biscuits, and watermelon salad at this place alone, but I bet it'd be easy to add a meatless sandwich to the menu made only with components you already have on hand. Something like fried eggs with avocado mash, apple-fennel slaw, and bayou sauce, or any other combo. You could even call it something befitting its second-rate status at a fried chicken joint, maybe something like "The Empty Nest." We'll be back regardless! We came in for dine in and were asked for our phone number so we could be notified when our food would be ready. Twenty five minutes later, still no food or text. Meanwhile, orders are being pumped out for pickup. We go back in to check on our order and it was sitting there. The cashier took down the wrong number, despite giving it to her twice. The worst part is they could tell we were waiting but no one thought to bring it over. But I must say that this place isn't all it's made up to be I ordered the "OG" and it was worse than a mc chicken at McDonald's, yes you've read this correctly a item from the McDonald's menu gives me more satisfaction than a place that only sells chicken. The fries were like eating salty licorice and there was less chicken than a vegan chicken patty. I would rather drink antifreeze than eat anything on that god forsaken menu. I would go for less spicy next time but My husband loved it hot! If you thought chick Gil a is a good sandwich this is so much better! And for a boy $3 extra you can add another bird!
