I do love a good chicken sandwich. What stands out for me here is that Flip The Bird uses a hearty white meat chicken breast for their sandwiches. It's juicy and tender and made to order. The OG is almost like a chicken cutlet style fry in it. Less crunchy but still awesome. Loved the pickles and ranch on it. The potato bun is soft and pillowy. The Cry Bird lives up to its name. Ghost pepper sauce and lettuce. The sandwich comes with a warning and set of gloves to eat it with. Free refills on soda, even though it's behind the counter. The staff didn't mind the refills even after a few trips up because of the Cry Bird spice. I was happy to finally try this place. It's good that I don't live closer, I'm a sucker for a great chicken sandwich. I would be here daily. Staff was so awesome. They were nice and definitely customer focused. There are about 6 or 7 tables inside. It's counter ordering. Be prepared for your order to take 15 min to prepare. This is fresh food, not fast food. Ample parking in the shopping plaza.

Chicken tenders with honey mustard and fries

Great location. Staff were friendly. The chicken sandwiches and tenders were great. I really liked the honey butter. The Nashville wasn't spicy at all. The fries were okay. I would like to try a spicy sandwich. I feel like the place is lacking good side options besides just fries.

Went for lunch today, my brother's treat. Got the spicy Tennessee sandwich. Larger breast than Dave's hot chicken. Was a little messy but that's OK. Was spicy but not overly so. Place was well run& clean. Food came out quickly. Overall a very good fried chicken sandwich!

I had an appointment close by and it was getting late so I finally decided to give this place a try. I didn't want much but also wanted a variety (I know, lol but I like options ). Considering the restaurant is known for their chicken sandwiches, I decided to try their 'OG' but instead of it being fried, I requested it be grilled. Let me tell you, RUN, do not walk! This chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had in a long time. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and made daily, if not more frequently. The bun, pickles and 'ranch' sauce all complimented the chicken perfectly. Now on to the rest of the order, I ordered a side of French fries and it comes with few different types of dipping sauces, I chose truffle ketchup, which was delicious. The fries sadly were not my vibe, too salty and too hard. I also ordered the biscuits with the honey butter (up charge $1.50 for the butter). The biscuits are huge but also really hard and crunchy exterior and soft interior but without flavor. The honey butter actually lacked a key ingredient, the honey... it was rather a warm whipped butter with cinnamon, save your coins. Honestly, I could have done without the fries or biscuits. Go to a place where they are know for biscuits as this was not it. I will def return but will just stick to the variety of chicken sandwich's and maybe try one f the other sides they offer. Atmosphere - clean, ample seating and free parking!

You've got to be kidding me. A chicken restaurant that doesn't offer buffalo sauce or wings.

Best fried chicken sandwich in the area. The buff chicken is the best, but there isn't anything I haven't liked yet.

Delicious, prepared with skill and intention to please every customer. Chicken would if they only knew how loved they were in passing.

I believe the high performance management, and favorable customer experience, are a result of the Cafe's manager, Luan. I hadn't seen Luan, or visited the Swampscott Panera Bread Cafe, in more than 10 years, and when I walked in, Luan was still there, still doing a great job managing the Cafe, and he remembered me and my name. I have no idea how he did that. The coffee at Panera Bread is outstanding; always hot, bold, flavorful, and with the right accompaniments, including Skim Milk. Unfortunately, the pastry at Panera Bread is not good. I don't remember how long Panera has been serving Par-Baked pastry, but the Par-Baked pastry are bad; they look good, but their taste and texture are terrible. Most decent bakeries put Panera's pastry to shame; Panera's bagels are awful, in the same league as Dunkin's hockey puck bagels, just awful. The salads and sandwiches at Panera are pretty good, but, expensive. As Panera Bread Cafe's go, I say with confidence, that the Panera Bread Cafe in Swampscott, MA is the best managed Panera Bread Cafe that I know, in the USA.

As I walked in, for a newer place it wasn't too appealing. The tables were mismatched and didn't look very clean. All the signage made the food look nice. There were many many choices, very large menu. With that said I should've been aware that pretty much everything would've been frozen item at least that's my assumption? Against my better judgment I want to head and ordered the barbecue wings and a side of fries to go. The girl behind The counter took my order promptly and I paid quickly and easily. This is where everything took a turn for the worse. My order actually came out pretty quickly less than five minutes but should be a good thing but in those five minutes that I was waiting around I saw major disruption amongst the staff. They were going back-and-forth about scheduling and disrupting the waiting area and table with a few people were eating. I was extremely surprised as were the people eating we looked at each other like what going on here?? Every few words out of all the employees mouths were swears and pretty loud too I mean I went in just to get a quick lunch I was there only the five minutes not really enough time to judge a restaurant. This is not a place where I would want to purchase my lunch as it is very disruptive to a food purchase I actually thought I was on the street corner in the low-end district. Putting all this aside when I got back to work I opened up my bag I had no silverware, no salt, no pepper, no ketchup for my fries not even a napkin ??? How do you pack a to go bag like that? My fries were the small shoe string french fries definitely frozen. The barbecue wings it looks as if they cook them and then just squirted sauce on top of them they were so drenched in barbecue sauce that I couldn't even eat them. I did post a photo. I was really hoping that this would be a nice lunch spot for the guys and I as the menu had a lot of nice choices on it unfortunately I don't think I'll go back and try anything else :(
