The hostess, who I have to say is an amazing employee, she was literally doing everything. Seating people, cleaning tables, answering the phone, cleaning the stuff off the pizza area, bringing clean pans, getting drinks, etc. BUT she was using those nasty old rags to clean the table, touching the cash register etc., never washed her hands and then she was grabbing handfuls of the fresh basil and ripping pieces and putting them on the pizza, then posting the pizza with her fingers to maybe check it wasn't burned on the bottom? I was literally dying watching this, I'm not even a germaphobe. Then I watched the other waiter who wears dirty baggy jeans wipe his hands in his pants and also manhandle the basil in the same way. So gross. I saw another party get mad because the pizza was not cut, they asked for it to be cut again....and then got angry because they still had to tear at it and everything fell off. When our pizza came....it was the same, but we dealt with it. We ALWAYS get the Butterscotch pudding, but at this point we just wanted out. Had to wait forever to ask for a box and check. I'll miss the old Blue Ribbon as I miss Craftsman sadly, but there are others with actual service, we gave them a chance the last time it was bad, but this is the 2nd and done!

Today was the first time I tried out Flippin pizza and it was quite exceptional. Being from New York, I know myself a pizza pie. The Pie here is Flippin amazing!!! The pizza here has a true unique taste and I would recommend to try if you haven't yet. The colorful staff seemed to be very knowledgable and well trained. These guys make probably the best pizza around but the service stinks. Whenever you call in an order you can add an extra 30 minutes to the pick-up time they tell you. If they were only late once I would get it but the last three time I have gotten a to go order they have been up to 50 minutes beyond the time they told me it would be ready. I still don't know of any place in Oceanside or Carlsbad that serves deep dish Chicago style pizza (other than Rosati's in Encinitas). Service was great. Calling ahead was a huge win because everything was ready the moment we walked in. Just had to buy some beers and pay the tab (~ $80-ish). I didn't get a receipt which I now wished I had. Beers were ice cold. Nice to see they have a whole bar in the back, though it's a bit strange. Most places would put the bar up-front by the entrance so you can see how packed or fun a place is without stepping in. We will most definitely be back to try other stuff now that we know how close they are. Can't wait to try happy hour.

I will never come back to this restaurant and will go out of my way to make sure everyone I know never sets foot in that establishment.

I came here Sunday for two sub sandwiches the guy was kinda rude what do you want I said number 7…read morehe's like mikes way I said no mayo and that's about it. Anyway long story short I asked if I can have another sandwich he's like yeah okay do he made both the sandwiches and he was so rude as I was paying I'll never go back to this location.
