Came here on a weekday and it wasn't busy so I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for the food. The inside is simple with only one table and two photo booths. There are a bunch of photo booth photos plastered all over the wall which I found really cute. The service was transactional just order and move on. Nothing bad or good about it. I got the bulgogi sandwich (4/5) and it was amazing. The egg was soft, the bulgogi had a great flavor, and wasn't overly sweet or salty. The bread was nice and soft, but was way too buttery and made it a messy eat. The sauce on top really made the sandwich, but like the butter on the bread, it became too much at times. However, the sauce they add on was a bit too sweet for my liking. If you're not a sweet person and is expecting something savory, I'd recommend telling them to cut back on the amount of sauce they put on your sandwich, or possibly getting it on the side. This is about my experience. Me and my friends went to go take pictures at the photo booth. It said that the photos would print there and we would just pay at the register. However, we tried two times but the photos weren't printing so we just assumed they printed outside and the workers had them. When we tried to pay, one of the workers" rudely said "can you wait for them to print" and didn't even let us explain to her that they hadn't printed. Sitting in the dining hall of the third floor in The Source, from a distance I saw the people sitting next to me eating what seemed to be an egg sandwich. From where I was sitting the sandwich looked so delicious, I was determined to have some for myself. So I went and asked my neighbor where I could get this sandwich for myself, in which she informed me it was on the first floor. After arriving at the restaurant called Flippoly, I was delighted with the tantalizing aroma of the baked food at the restaurant. I went ahead and ordered myself an original egg sandwich while my friend ordered a bacon egg sandwich. Apparently there was a party before us that ordered quite a lot of sandwiches so the wait was a bit long. In which we just decided to come back after a bit since we were in no rush. After ordering and receiving our sandwich we sat down and proceeded to eat. After finishing my sandwich, my appetite was fulfilled. The food tasted just as good as it looked. I loved the fluffiness of the egg and the sauce that comes with the sandwich. The bread was also so delicious, I could definitely eat the bread on it's own because it reminded me of buttery garlic bread. I was shocked because I was quite full after eating the sandwich, which did not seem that big of a sandwich at first. I guess that could be partly due to the sandwich being a bit greasy, which I did not mind because it was very tasty. Beware though, this sandwich is a bit hard to eat; it is quite hard to fit a full bit into your mouth. Overall this sandwich was definitely worth it! The price wasn't too bad as well. I'll definitely be coming back here again. If anything I'll come back to The Source just for this sandwich. read more

The food tastes ok does not worth the hype. Just a lot of bread. The BEST part is the customer service, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I absolutely adore this place. It's cute, it's fun and it's delicious. Flippoly is located on the ground floor of the OC source, right across from the bingsoo place or next to the Korean pop star souvenir shop. It's pretty easy to find. First of all, I like the photo booth concept of this place. You get to print out your strips of picture for $5 a set (of 2strips) and a flipbook for $9 a book or $16 for 2 ? I don't exactly remember how much for two books but you get a discount for it to print more. You pretty much get to take as many times as you need until you are happy and satisfied with the picture or stopped motion pictures before printing them. For the photo booth, they have some basic props, hat etc. And for the motion pictures , they have quite many different background to choose from. * Tip: since the motion pictures are done on a green screen, avoid wearing green or similar shade or you would lose part of your body in the picture. * *Tip #2: the color quality of the pictures is best at black and white. If you don't mind it without colors, black and white comes out a bit better. **Things could be done better/ improvement: please clean the props and maintain props quality from time to time. I came twice with about 1-2 months apart and the props are already looking a lot more worn out. With the head pieces, it just seems more sanitized if there are some cleaning spray to clean up inside before or after each use. I also wanted to talk about their new item: the HONEYCOMB CANDY DALGONA Is the bomb!!! It's the next level of milk tea, after the sea salt cream/ crema! It is soooooo good! The honeycomb crunch on top has this roasted caramel flavor, meringue texture and a light crunch with the prefect sweetness to it. They also made this in house. It works extremely well with the milk tea. Their milk tea base is pretty good as well, but I wouldn't just come for the milk tea without the honeycomb. So the honeycomb made it special and unique. I am already addicted to it after my first taste. I am longing to be back to have another cup. For food, I had their egg salad sandwich, it's very pretty and it's quite good as well. I like how they added a layer of jam inside and have a larger egg pieces in the sandwich too. I was really excited to try this place when I saw pics of the dalgona milk tea. After watching squid game, I've always wanted to try dalgona and seeing that they put it in milk tea which is one of my favorite drinks made me excited. The service was quick luckily. I had a taste of the dalgona and I loved it. It was sweet with a bit of a burnt taste without being too overpowering. Here's the bad part though. When I took a sip of the milk tea, it didn't taste like anything. Just milk. The drink barely had any tea flavor or sweetness. I was disappointed. I finally got to try the infamous dalgona milk tea here. This place is located at The Source OC, past knotts berry farm. If you had the chance to stop by this shopping area, I totally recommend. This place is usually my first priority since I'm a fan of dalgona. The drink is basically milk, coffee ( I think), and pieces of dalgona on top which is a traditional korean type of candy. It kinda reminds me of honeycomb. When you get the drink I would recommend mixing it together because the balance between bitter and sweet would mix perfectly together. The drink itself cost around $5.60 total with tax, which in my opinion is a bit pricey but if I can't get this anywhere else, I would just splurge. The place itself it very trendy with photo booths that cost extra Ofc but the food and drinks itself are A+. I would definitely recommend coming here! read more

The sandwiches are okay, they are the type of sandwiches you can make at home as they are the same concept of a grilled cheese sandwich. They have many options of sandwiches from kimchi bulgogi, mozzarella, to hash brown. You can either get them spicy or regular as you can ask for the sauce on the side. My favorite part of the sandwich is the sauce it has strong flavors and compliments the sandwich well. The bread is toasted perfectly where it has a buttery taste to it making it creamy and not dry. As for the other fillings as in the eggs and cheese they tastes normal and nothing unique about them. The sandwiches are a decent size especially for lunch as they are filling. When looking at the sandwiches do not be fooled - they are not filled all the way at the bottom of the sandwich only halfway. I ate the meat, egg, and cheese quickly thinking it goes all the way at the bottom of the bread and by the time I reached the bottom I was eating plain bread and struggled to finish the sandwich. When I visited I did not see any type of combo meals you have to order the drink and sides separately. This has an open kitchen type where you can see them prepare the sandwiches. Each sandwich is packed in its own box even if you are ordering plenty of them. There is a clear plastic strip around the sandwich to help keep everything together so it does not fall all over the bag. The wait time is not quick, the average wait time is 10 minutes that is if they are not busy. When they are busy especially on weekend mornings it can be longer than 15 minutes. If you are looking for a filling breakfast sandwich I recommend this place as it kept me full for half a day. read more

Went here with my wife looking for dessert after eating some Korean fried chicken at a nearby restaurant. I had heard about crodonuts, so it was a nice surprise to finally try one. We had a crodonut that was covered in chocolate with some type of custard underneath. Overall, it was good but it was also pretty expensive at $1.95 each. They did have a special where you can buy 3 and get one free, so that might make it more worth it.
