I demolished a 12" all by myself! They must use fresh cheese because I didn't experience any acid reflux overnight. - My girlfriend had the BLT. She maxed the entire thing. While we did have to send back one of the drinks, it was because the tap went flat. Once they replaced it and made the drink again, it was perfect. If you like a crisp crusted pizza, this is the place. Fast delivery to our hotel as well. We had half mushrooms and half anchovies and onions. Both sides were hot, tasty and the anchovies were wonderfully salty. The pizza is cut into squares so it's fun eating some tiny bits. Highly recommend. read more

Great ambiance here and very reasonable prices for what you're getting. The staff are attentive and will check in with you often, but not annoyingly so. There are also great deals for most days of the week for various food and beer selections, so if you're frequently in the South Loop you can find some variety on different days. We ended up in this establishment after our intended location was closed. Parking is metered street parking. We went on a Thursday night it was moderately crowded. We sat on the outdoor patio and it's also dog friendly. We had wings and the loaded cheddar fries. Food was pretty good for what it's worth. Honestly, just not great. Now, in their defense this we my only time going there. However, I did order my favorite pizza (a ricotta hot honey) that was of extreme sadness. Solid Pizza and appetizers. I visited Flo & Santos for the first time. They checked my Vaccination card and ID at the door and I was told to grab the table/booth of my choice. The restaurant is very spacious. Great for large groups or small groups. There was a party of at least 10 when I got there and it was still plenty of space. I picked a table and as soon as I sat down water was brought to my table. My waitress was kind and I placed an order for their baked goat cheese and a medium pizza with various toppings. The food came out very quickly. Much faster than Gino's east and lou's. The app was out in under 10 minutes and the pizza in about 20 minutes. I ordered beef on the pizza. I should have clarified for ground beef. They gave me what appeared to be Italian beef but it was still tasty. Our bill came out to $35 bucks. I thought that was awesome for an app and medium pizza. Even though this medium pizza resembled the "small" at other restaurants. The medium comfortably fed me and a friend, and we even had a few pieces left. But if we were SUPER hungry we would have needed a large. If you have a large appetite I suggest to size up. It is a spacious area with a summertime patio designed to host bigger friend groups, but also has tables for couples. It has a very casual vibe and would also be ideal for happy hour with colleagues. Regarding the parking situation, there is paid street parking and garages nearby are expensive. Being a vegetarian, the menu was limited and any substitutions on the pizzas would be an additional charge. We started with the Pierogi sampler, potato cheese, and mushroom sauerkraut. They served 6 pieces with apple sauce and sour cream for a price of $12.99, which is on the expensive side. Having had authentic pierogis, I would say the taste and flavors were similar and great, but the price is not worth buying this app again. For the main dish, we got the 14" veggie pizza for $25. It was a very filling, tasty, and overall, great pizza that I would order again. The host asked us if we wanted an indoor or patio seating and we said indoor since kids can't handle heat much. Service - our server was amazing. This is a cute place in the south loop with a bunch of TVs and sports, descent food, good selection of beers and drinks and a few "unique" alcohols. But, that's not the whole story. First off, the food. That is pretty good. They say that they have polish food, and yeah, there is some, but it's not awesome. The pierogis are tasty. But the sauerkraut is really not that good. The onion rings are good, the waffle fries are good. But none of that is polish. Pizzas? Italian, sure, but nothing to write home about. Their mules are good, but the pours of the vodka are quite light for $8 on the Friday special. I get the "water down the drinks for happy hour" mentality, but this was a bit too much. Be careful to ask about what beer or other alcohols are actually available. Chances are the thing you want is probably not in stock. Ask. And that goes double for their special vodkas. Of the 12 or so on the menu, 8 were not available. And when we ordered two of the 4 that were, we were told that one was also not available. WTF? Like literally they are almost all available at Binny's. Send someone out to get a few bottles. My mom and I were looking for a place to spend our Friday evening since she was visiting me in the city. I had heard about Flo & Santos from many neighbors, so we took my dog to the patio and walked over! Since it was a Friday they had a House Mule on special for $8 and I decided to give it a try. I would definitely return for a Friday night drink and have it again. I would also look forward to having the onion rings and waffle fries again as sides or appetizers. There was a good variety of drinks and food choices on the menu. I am rating three stars because the Chicken Club was pretty disappointing. The chicken was dry and I didn't think it had enough balance of flavors compared to the salmon dish. There are also quite a bit of pigeons around the patio. Which I get can't be controlled as much when you're outside in the city, but I noticed there was quite a bit of food on the ground that might help reduce the pigeon problem. The experience/ambience is likely a bit different indoors, which would probably bump my rating to four stars. read more

Waiter kept saying they were out of certain items such as beer and an appetizer. This was 6 pm'ish on a Sunday, January 21 (short Hispanic young man). He also kept trying to walk away impatiently every single time as though he were in a rush and never let us ask any questions. I ordered what I thought was 2 meals in one - The "Flo & Santo" Combo, which is described on the menu as "Polish kielbasa and Italian beef topped with provolone cheese." A reasonable person could believe the kielbasa and beef would be separated out but what we got was a sausage inside a hard bread mixed together with tiny slices of beef. The bread was too long such that you had to bite into a huge chunk of bread before getting to the meat, and when you got to the meat part, mixing sausage with weak slices of minced beef was not pleasant on the palette consistency-wise. Pure junk food. The only thing that was good was the onion rings. Can't believe we spent $60 for a disgusting sandwich, 2 beers and onion rings. read more

I've been here a few times for group gatherings. It's a bar that specializes in pizza and pierogis. There's an indoor space that has a sports bar feel to it, and there is also a large patio style seating area, which is great to relax with friends in the summertime when it's warm out. So in terms of the ambience, I think this place gets full marks. With regards to the food, it's decent. I'd recommend the pizza over the pierogis. It's thin crust pizza, and they have several different topping combinations that are all great--veggie, margherita, barbecue chicken. I liked them all. The pierogis, on the other hand, while having a range of different fillings--potato and cheese, meat, and sauerkraut and mushroom--I found them all to be a bit flat in terms of flavor. At times I found it hard to tell them apart. Overall, this is a solid place, and I think the outdoor large group seating makes this a great casual spot to bring friends. read more
