The most beautiful float spa's I have ever been in to in over 20 years of floating. The rooms are immaculate with everything you need to rest and revitalize. When you arrive you are warmly welcomed and greeted by the receptionist and there is a sign that says leave your shoes are stress at the door. The lobby, waiting area is absolutely beautiful. There is filtered water available and inside the private rooms everything that you need to be comfortable is provided. This float spa was very well planned out with great detail and love. I'm so grateful to have a high quality float experience, this is the kind of float spa I would open if I could, next best thing is to have a membership here. Echoing the other reviews, this place is pretty great both for the experience itself as well as customer service. I received a call the day of my float to let me know what to expect (it's all in the website but I appreciated the extra communication effort). And then they walked me through it in person again. The front desk person was kind and attentive and gave instructions at a nice pace. I was nervous about my first float and the staff definitely made everything easy and welcoming. The pod itself is simple to work and I appreciated the options for light no light door open door closed. I'd definitely return given the chance and would highly recommend. read more

We have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and during the pandemic the floatation place we previous went to was closed, and we finally gave it a try. The location is convenient. It's around the downtown area of Campbell. And more importantly it has dedicated parking which saves a lot of headache. The equipment is clean and top notch. I booked two sessions. One for me and one for my wife. We didn't know what to expect but just hear say from others and reading the reviews. There is a small parking lot on the side building, once you come in we were warmly greeted. We sat on the bench took off our shoes and put on some slippers and filled out a disclaimer for our session. After completing our forms, we were given a tour of the facility and what to expect. We were shown the pods where we would float and give instructions on best experience and practices. Inside your private room there is a private shower for you to pre clean and shower afterwards. They have nicely scented shampoo body lotion and shower gel. I liked the eucalyptus smell!!! They also have shower slippers inside and other condiments to make your staff great (Vaseline to cover any cuts that you may have, ear plugs, q tips, towels etc). The main bathroom has other things like combs deodorant if I recall. After floating in the pod I was able to relax. It did take me awhile to relax but trying to figure out what you do with your arms and legs but after my float I was tired and needed a nap. The next day I felt awesome btw!!! Anyways in the pod you have buttons to turn the light on and off and I don't think you really have to worry about drowning since it is shallow and the pod is quite large so you shouldn't felt too claustrophobic. At the end of this I became a member and am looking to utilize my membership for additional sessions!!!! read more

I tried this float therapy spot because my usual one closed. I try to get a session in at least twice a year, it's the best form of meditation. I was very impressed with this facility. It was clean, calm and quiet. I loved leaving my shoes at the door, it helped me to feel more grounded and present. I appreciated having extra towels and amenities in my room just in case. I was surprised that you control the light in the pod yourself, I haven't experienced that before. It allowed me to take my time getting settled instead of trying to rush myself to get in before the light shut off on me. The water tempurature was perfect, I never got too cold. I showed up at about 4:20 at Float Station for my first experience with sensory deprivation. The place was elegant with clean lines and nice decor, a good start. I took off my shoes and was grateful for the supply of sandals by the door. The receptionist greeted me, gave me the forms and then we were off to my pod room. The procedure was explained: shower thoroughly, dry thoroughly (don't miss this step, more later), turn off the lights, hop in the pod. So I did... the pod was lit with a calming blue light and the water was comfortable (lukewarm, if you know a person named Luke who is neither hot nor cold). I immediately noticed I was floating really well... the addition of a literal ton of Epsom salts increased my buoyancy enormously. There was calm, meditative music playing in the pod as described which would quiet and shut off after the first six minutes. (Times here are approximate as I didn't have a timekeeping device, they are my best approximation after the fact) -00:05 No words. I am a stress ball. I am so hoping this helps, because *something* has to change, and nothing I've tried is helping with this stress. 00:01 [I awkwardly reached up and closed the pod door (trying not to remember the scene with the pod bay door in 2001).] 00:02 [internal thoughts] OK, this is interesting. The air and water are the same temperature, it's hard to tell what's in or out of the water. 00:03 Wow. I must have failed to dry that spot on my back. They were right, it itches! [scratching itch] and the water feels somewhat viscous on my fingers. 00:04 Ok. Music should be turning off any time now, I guess I'll shut off the light. 00:04:01 Wow it's dark. 00:05 Oh, that's cool... definitely seeing static from false positives on photo receptors and/or vision centers. Makes sense, the same thing happens in CMOS light detectors as the gain is turned up. I wonder how well that metaphor extends... and why the noise is predominantly in the red range. Possibly that's the threat signal, so the gain goes up higher here to alert for emergencies. 00:06 Ok, the music stopped. Not sure how I'm going to get through a full hour. I'll try meditative breathing techniques. I used to be good at meditating. 00:10 Definitely feeling calmer now. I'm glad to have a chance to disconnect. 00:11 OK, maybe the way to go is to follow the visual noise until I see patterns, like when I go to sleep 00:12? Mind largely shuts down, I'm aware of my presence, but finally my mind is quiet, neutral, like my environment [perception of time and myself as an entity stops] 00:53 Oh, that was nice. I feel kind of relaxed and blissful. I wonder if the soak has loosened up my back and hips? [various stretches] 00:56 Wow... all those stretches and I don't perceive that I've moved in the pod. In biology I was taught that flagella on single celled organisms move back and forth to facilitate motion... does that work? Seems to me that there would need to be a three-dimensional component, like corkscrewing, or the forces would balance. Let's try... 00:57 No motion. It seems waggling back and forth in simulated two dimensions doesn't do a thing for locomotion. Take that, biology! Oh, the music is starting, that's the the three minute warning. 00:59 Ok, I think I'm done, I'll hop out and start showering. I'm not sure it did a lot. 00:60 Wow. My mind is still... quiet. Here I am showering, and I'm not worried about a million different things. Let's stop thinking about it and see how long it lasts... I drove toward home, stopped at the supermarket. The shopping was unencumbered by worries and thoughts, I simply enjoyed shopping. On returning home, there were some stressful things (found out a family friend is dying of cancer, various problems turned up) and I worried that I was going to become a big stress ball again... but I got through it. And I slept well. Today I'm noticing I distinctly feel more creative. I'm seeing potential and beauty and feeling excited about possibilities again. So, definitely money well spent. I am now a member and will be going monthly. I seriously think they have really helped fend off a stress crisis for me; I suspect that the effect would have been profound even if I had started in a better place. read more

I would like to talk about my experience at Float Station located in Campbell, CA. I started my membership there about a year and a half ago. I was interested in trying isolation or sound bath therapies and so I did some searching in my area. I came across Float Station and signed up online for Float. I arrived and the receptionist knew who I was when I had walked through the door and she said that my room would be ready soon. I sat down at a long couch like seat shaped like an L on one half of a table. A couple minutes later I was shown to my room. After going a few times I had asked if it was possible to put my appointments in the same room. Two times there was an issue with the lighting coming on during the sessions. After that the turned off the lights at the breaker box to ensure that wouldn't happen again and even comped me a float. They are very attentive to me and everyone that comes through the doors. I have to stop my membership at the moment; but not due to anything wrong with Float Station. I have even recommended to a few people and some have joined. I will continue to promote them although I will not be able to for a while. I hope to return very soon. One last thing the shampoo, soap and conditioner is out of this world. Cleanliness and customer service was spectacular! For someone who naturally has high strung energy, I was very anxious my first time at Float Station. The staff and overall atmosphere really helped me ease all the tension I was holding onto. The first half of my float experience was awkward because I was resistant to surrendering to the float, however the second half I found myself drifting off into the universe. Those thirty minutes were THE BEST thirty minutes I had all year! What was even better was my SECOND float. The hour went by so fast, I caught myself falling asleep. I have to admit, this place is complete Zen. Inviting décor. In immaculate condition. I was (and still am) extremely impressed with how clean this facility is. Very thoughtful amenities. Amazingly friendly staff. As far as the float goes, I would say you'd have to give it 2-4 floats to really find your groove. The 1st time took about 40 minutes to calm my mind, but once it happened, I fell into a deep state of calmness. Each time since has allowed me to get to that state, and even deeper, much faster to truly feel the full effects. I am a bit of an insomniac, and each time I float (while I still have sleep issues), I have a much better quality sleep. I can't even begin to describe how much it has benefited me; both mentally and physically. Seems like my perspective just smooths out and the world calms down. read more

This is my happy stress-relieving place. The customer service and staff is always top notch, the entire place is surgically clean, they run right on schedule every time, and the pods are the most modern up to date ones I've seen. I have been to a few other float places while traveling that had more "old school" equipment and it was not as relaxing of an experience for me. They have an app to make scheduling easy, and although it's not apparent on the website or app, they do offer 90 minute and 2 hour sessions for some of their float times. The first time I went I was fairly nervous. I wondered what kind of mind melting experiment I was about to endure, and curious if I might panic once the pod door closed. The first time did take some adjusting and getting used to just relaxing and trusting that the insanely salty water would indeed hold me up, but now I am hooked and go regularly for 90 minute sessions. My ability to concentrate in the tank - all alone with no distractions of any kind - is huge. The tranquility I find during my float carries with me long after, and also helps me in between sessions. If I find myself stressing or fixating on a problem I can let it go in the moment and tell myself "I can table this worry for now and work through it during my next float". read more

What can I say?! This was such a very unique experience. I drove by this place many times and for my birthday my bf surprised me when an appointment. I was definitely interested at first to see what in the heck is floating?! We did some research and watched some videos online. It did look scary, but I understood the concept. So, we arrived there 15 or so minutes early (recommended). You sign a waiver form and get a brief orientation. Super clean rooms and did not feel creepy at all. I could see how people would get creeped out by the pod! Honestly, I'm really impressed with how I felt afterwards. My muscles and body overall felt super relaxed. Ok, so after my first visit, I came in twice more...and each time it gets better and better. Being 8 months pregnant, it helps to take the weight off! I've a super active baby, so he's always moving, kicking and poking out. My belly has been contracting all of the time! Each time, it's easier to get into the calm, meditative state of rest. The pros: clean, friendly and fully supplied with everything you need. The "cons": so baby was super calm and relaxed during the quiet and dark period in the pod. I got in and it took 5 min for the music to stop. It seemed the music started 40-45 min after it had stopped to let you know your time is done, so you don't get a full hour of quiet/dark. It seems you get the room for a 60 min block and 40-45 min of sensory deprivation. Baby started kicking up again after the music and lights kicked in. I'd still highly recommend and have updated to 5 stars given the overall quality of the space. read more

I highly recommend! The Float Station in Downtown Campbell is a relaxing and stress free environment. I was recommended by a friend since I was constantly stressed out and having tight/ sore muscles. My first impression was that this place was so clean! I was welcomed by the friendly staff who took the time to guide and prepare me for my first float. After my first couple of floats, I got a membership right before COVID-19 hit (great timing, right? Haha). A few months past by and I was very cautious about returning to float. I was reassured by friends who went and told me that the facility was taking extra precaution to make sure all their clients were comfortable in returning into a safe environment. I was greeted back by the same friendly staff and really appreciated the time and effort they put into making the place super clean and safe during the pandemic. Been wanting to try this place for a while now and glad I did. Very clean and streamline interior/decor. Friendly and knowledgeable help. The room and float pod is spacious. I was worried about potentially feeling claustrophobic though it wasn't an issue at all. I didn't know what to expect, but it was an overall positive experience. It does take a little bit of time to relax and focus on being present in the moment. The hour goes by surprisingly fast. I think I could have stayed longer. As you take a shower after the experience while still in your private room, it would have been nice to have clean combs in the room to use to untangle hair and a box of kleenex. Diana and Mary were very accommodating, informative and fun to work with on my first float! The facility is so beautiful (that marble slab, wow) and perceivably well kept and clean. Next thing I knew I was floating in a soothing darkness with no worries or feelings of claustrophobia. I really enjoyed my visit to the float station. The private rooms were nice, everything was very clean and the staff was helpful. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the cost, it's defininetly ok the pricey side but if you have the money to spend I'd say it's worth it. I recommend if you do go, go at night and don't have any plans afterwards. I was so relaxed and went to sleep shortly after and slept the beat i had in quite some time. I don't really write reviews, but when I do, you can bet that it's for good reason. I see floating at Float Station as my weekly "decompression ritual." I really didn't know what to expect at first, but after my first float, it was incredibly easy to see what all the buzz was about! Im completely hooked and confident I will be floating for the rest of my life. From the moment you walk into this calm and relaxing space, the staff makes you feel right at home. Everything is always super clean and on point. For first timers, the lovely staff goes through everything you need to know. Not that it's complicated or anything - there is no wrong way to float and it's extremely simple! I tend to have some productive floats where I hash out work related ideas and thoughts. However, I also have those "meditative state" floats that make me feel SO relaxed during and after, and gets me ready to tackle the upcoming week. Not only that, but I've noticed my life has become much more stress free and "chill" ever since I've started floating regularly. After the float, you feel amazing the rest of the day. I get the best sleep ever on the days I float - waking up feeling super refreshed. To sum it up, there is absolutely NO reason not to give floating a try. I had wanted to try for awhile and my husband got me a gift certificate so I finally had no excuses not to go, like kids,time,etc lol The second you step through the door you feel relaxed, it's warm, soft music, the staff even talks softly and so the experience starts right away. The staff (Naomi helped me) made me feel really comfortable. She was so knowledgeable about the experience. I have to say she gave really great suggestions for what to do while in the pod to make the first float more relaxing and beneficial. I think some of the stuff she suggested actually helped me have a better float faster, I definitely would have been unable to relax as quickly had I not tried her suggestions. Was given a gift certificate here. For someone needing time to zone out and relax you definitely will at Float Station. Atmosphere: beautifully decorated interior. Very sterile but high end clean. Lots of towels- Very simple. Ample seating for waiting area. Upscale spa Extremely accommodating, friendly, pleasant staff. I remarked after I left that both attendants were smiling and positive the whole time-from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave...if only every establishment you walked into would have staff like that the world would be a better place....very impressive. Lots of showering before and after-be ready to spend 1.5 hours there- Float pod experience itself is cool-you float let your mind go and relax. A colleague recommended I try Float Station during a particularly stressful time at work, when I didn't have time for a vacation. He said floating was like a workout, meditation session, and a nap rolled into one. I was a little skeptical...but WOW was he right! I've been a member for about a year now and even though I recently quit my job and thus have less discretionary funds, I've added Float Station to my can't-live-without list. It takes 1-2 sessions to get used to, but I swear it is life changing. I've experimented with time of day (deep thinking in the morning after 2 cups of coffee; muscle restoration after a mid-day workout, total rest and relaxation and letting go in the early evening...I've even nodded off a few times which is crazy given you're lying in water!). The facility is always impeccably clean...I have felt 100% safe since they opened during the pandemic. The professionalism of the staff also sets this place apart...every person I've interacted with in person and online is service-oriented, responsive, accommodating and just nice! They always make my visits special and seem to really care that I had a good session. This was an interesting experience. I am new to the whole float scene and wanted to see what the hype was. My overall experience was positive. Friendly staff, nice amenities, private rooms complete with shower and float pod. The process is to take a shower before you float to wash off any products or lotions you're wearing. Then you get in the pod, close the lid, turn off the lights, and just relax. I had a wonderful time, despite not being able to fall asleep. I ended up trying a float yoga session with myself. Here's my gripe. For $89-$100+, you get a 1 hour experience which doesn't really seem to have the right cost benefit to me. I would actually appreciate (and find more valuable) a full service day spa where you get a massage to relax first, then float. It's hard to just "get in the mood" on demand.
