Adding this to my monthly wellness routine!!! Absolutely love this place and all the benefits - infared red light therapy sauna. You can set the color light to any color you want depending on what you want to target or treat (they have a pamphlet that explains everything) Sessions are 40 mins, you can either book a suite with a shower or without but know that the shower will cut into the 40 minutes time and take away from being in the sauna. There are speakers inside for you to watch shows or play music. You can adjust everything inside from temp, timer, red light therapy on/off, color light therapy, aux, etc. After the session my skin always feels refreshed, soft, my body feels rejuvenated and recharged and I just feel sooooo good. It's complimented with a cold essential oil afterward to wipe your body down after and it is heavenly. Once signed up, they can save your preferred sauna settings for your next visit. I've added this to my routine at least once a month and I absolutely love it. Hoping to add more to my routine, I'm putting all my girlies on!!

This was my first visit and it was fantastic! I have heard so much about Red Light Therapy and it is wonderful that this place offers a body treatment. We were greeted by Corrina who checked us in, showed us around and then explained the options in our sauna. The sauna room is private, they provide the towels to sit on as well as a cold towel scented with eucalyptus for a bit of cooling. They have 3 sauna rooms with an attached shower and offer complimentary shampoo/conditioner and body soap. There are also 4 sauna rooms that do not have a shower. All rooms have a TV with multiple streaming services on demand to entertain while you work up a warm sweat in the sauna!! If you are interested in that, turn it on while the attendant is there just in case the guest before you accidentally signed out of the streaming services. This location is super clean. I felt very comfortable in the sauna and was able to work up quite a sweat - a great detox! Be prepared to drink lots of water during and after your visit as your body can stay warm for a while. There was no problem with fitting 2 adults in the sauna. The one issue with both of us using the same sauna was that our tolerance to the temperature was different. So we had to compromise a little to meet in the middle. And since the sauna compartment is private, I could easily step out of the sauna for a moment when it became too warm for me. I can definitely see myself coming back for another healing visit and highly recommend!

Love love love the experience provided by Perspire. The staff are very welcoming, which created a warm atmosphere. My best friend and I booked a session at 8:05am. We decided to come a bit early to get a tour of the studio and saw that they clean the room after every session. They thought of everything and I mean everything!!! Each room has 5 towels for every person (1 floor, 2 body, 1 face, 1 eucalyptus) for customers to use as they choose during their session. I found the eucalyptus towel to be very refreshing after sitting in the sauna. There are different colors you can choose from and each color has different benefits. We chose to turn on the red light and blue light. There are TVs in every room with Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube for customers to use. We were able to watch our favorite sitcom while being heated from the inside out. There were speakers built in the sauna and the audio was very clear. Tips: I would recommend wearing a swimsuit and bringing slides you don't mind getting wet. The private rooms that are even numbered (2,4,6) have showers. They provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. This came in handy because we both had to go to work after. Please hydrate and eat a small meal before your session. We did not eat anything and barely drank water, which caused me to feel a little light headed. If you need water they have a water station where you can fill up your bottle or they have drinks you can purchase in the front.

My first time experience with IR sauna went really well at Perspire! I very much prefer IR sauna over steam sauna since its difficult to breath with hot steam. Red light therapy is also very well known for additional health benefits like muscle recovery and skin rejuvenation. The sauna also come with chromotherapy and smart tv for a full relaxing experience. Even number rooms come with attached shower if you don't like being sweaty after the session. Staffs are friendly and explain everything very well. They are doing $20 promotion for first session so do make use of it! No water cup is available so do remember to bring water bottle with you

Super relaxing experience with very clean and new facilities! The sauna rooms are small but have everything you need. The electric panel inside the sauna controls temperature, time, and also lighting options like infrared light for faster healing and different colored lights. Amenities: Every room has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc and speakers inside the sauna make the audio crystal clear. Also, 4 towels are provided for floor, body, face, and neck (chilled eucalyptus towel, extremely nice post-sauna). Water station and bathroom are outside the room.

Loved my Perspire Sauna session! Spent about 20 minutes at 145° and followed it with a quick cold shower -- total body refresh! I felt lighter, calmer, and my skin was glowing after. Such a great way to detox, support muscle recovery, and just slow down for a bit. The space was super clean and relaxing, and having my own private room made it even better. Definitely adding this to my regular wellness routine!

My friend brought me here as guest. I really liked it! It's very fancy haha we had our own private room. The outside of the Sauna has TV. So, you can watch tv as you relax your body with soothing heat. The room we had also had shower. It's really nice to freshen up after your being in hot room. This nice way to end your day. The first time try is only 20 dollars! So, give it a shot!

That was fun! I took advantage of the $20 promotion for first-timers and booked a second session same-day! The front desk staff was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed for my first session. The room and sauna unit was already pre-warmed for me upon my arrival. There is a quick informational video you watch during your first session about the process and how to use your sauna. After that, the TV is all yours! When you are done with your session, there are also hydrating drinks available for purchase. The facilities are well-maintained, and every room is cleaned immediately after use. Half the rooms include a shower and one room has an XL sauna you can move around in. Keep that in mind when booking.

A newly opened sauna/ red light therapy studio in the Rivermark Plaza! Lived here for 23 years now there is finally something to appreciate in terms for health and wellness. Besides food LOL! During the grand opening a month ago before then I was already eyeing this place to be part of my lifestyle to relax throughout the year especially after a hard day work physically and I'm not talking sitting in an office and desk all day but I understand that can be a challenge too NOT! But when the weather gets cold and winter hits now I could walk to this place and pretend I'm at some tropical country enjoying the heat. Operated and owned by Kevin and his assistance partner in crime Vanessa. Both bring a lot of energy to this studio when I come for my session. So they offer several packages day passes or membership. I'm not too sure the cost now I opted for the founders membership which gives you 4 sauna session a month and any unused session it is rolled over the next month. Back to what I was saying after your sauna session you could leave or if you feel hungry no problem Rivermark Plaza is full with food options. Parking is limited oh and please secure your valuable. Booking a session is easy as 1-2-3 on the app platform. About the studio guests has an option to two different studio one with a shower or one without. All are equipped with television and more than standard media amenities. They also give you two clean towels to use as you perspire and to top it off a wet towel with refresh mint smell to used to finalize your closing visit. If you go on a weekday morning, you can enjoy the spa quietly.

Ive been very excited for this place to open! I walked in for the first time and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had my room ready and gave me a full tour of the space and then we went into my private room. It was even better than what I had hoped for, very clean, towels folded very nice and the sauna looked almost futuristic. They told me how to work it and what to expect and then it was time to get my session! The session was amazing. I came in for arthritis in my knees and ankles and to get a good sweat and detox. You also get medical grade red light therapy in every session along with the infrared therapy. Immediately when I got out my knees and ankles already felt better, and I felt relaxed and lighter on my feet. I also checked my heart rate rate on my Apple Watch and it hit about 117 while I watched Netflix and just sat there. Oh yeah there tv entertainment to help the 40 minutes fly by. I am going to plan on coming in 3-4 times a week to get the full benefits. The fact that you get your own sauna that is spotless and you don't have to share with other people at th gym is amazing! You get your own room/sauna to sauna your way. Come in a support this new amazing business and get all the amazing benefits!!

Brought my book to read and relax with red light therapy! the music in the room was so relaxing!

I convinced one of my friend to join me and she was also very hesitant but we were brave and did it, and both of us want to do it again. Once you get over your shyness you'll be okay. I came here after work. We booked a service-brown sugar bliss + coconut-70 min for $150. With the service, you have the full use of the facility. They have hot tube, cold pool, wet & dry Sauna, massage chair- can use for 30 min for free. And they serve food inside. You can literally spend the entire day here. I wish we did. We had such an amazing experience. After our body scrub, our skin never felt so soft. They clean you so good. I wanna do this quarterly.

This was my first time doing a Korean spa. I had previously only eaten at the cafe for lunch and…read moreloved their kalbi rice bowl so I came back for the spa experience with my friends. Once we paid and given key to lockers and 3 towels (1 large & 2 small), we locked up our shoes (only) in the lockers to the right of the front desk. Then headed inside to grab a pair of slippers from the shelves to the left (don't grab the ones in the basket on floor which are for used slippers). Then head upstairs to the locker rooms to change and store your things to the same numbered locker. Also, grab a pair of shorts from the shelves in there. The room with massage chairs is nice if you can find a good chair. The first massage chair I tried was perfect for my needs because I have neck and shoulder issues recently but the massage chair I have at home doesn't even reach my neck and only somewhat knead my shoulders and massages whole body. This chair (where the display controller is mounted on right and has a "neck & shoulder" function) was able to focus only on the neck and even up the back of head and down to the shoulder and shoulder blades areas only (pull out the padding behind the head area if you don't feel much happening). Some of the chairs did seem worn down and torn up but many were in good shape as well. Downstairs is the 3 Jade, Clay, and Salt rooms including an Ice room. No slippers inside rooms so place slippers on the shoe racks outside. Be extra careful going inside the clay room. There are handrails to help you get in and out because the clay balls are actually a few inches deep and very slippery and it's kind of like you're stepping into quicksand. My friends did the body scrub while I did the massage. I don't know if all masseuses massage the same way there but I did not know that the massage included being stepped on. I am a very petite gal and Gina was a bit bigger than me. It wasn't just stepping with one foot but with both! I don't know how much of her entire weight was on me because there were two ropes hanging for her to hold onto but I felt like I was being tortured during the 10-15 minute that she was on me. I can understand if the client is much bigger and so you need your full weight to get enough pressure, but I am only just around 100 lbs, petite, and asked for medium pressure and was still stepped on. After that massage, certain spots around my back and pelvis (boney spots) seemed as if they were bruised cause they hurt with even just touch. She handed me an envelope afterwards for tips. I still tipped her but I don't think I would get a massage there again due to that experience. Maybe if you are a bigger build or get a different masseuse you might enjoy it. Overall, her massage was not all that useful, or even if it was, the stepping on undid it by giving me a traumatic experience. But there were a few times I thought what she was doing didn't seem like it did anything. If I hadn't gotten the massage, I would have given 5 stars because the facility and front desk staff I encountered were great (I asked front desk about adding massage and she was very friendly and helpful and immediately was able to book the massage for the earliest opening a few hours later), but I had to take a star off just for my experience with that masseuse. Would go back to the spa to unwind and relax, but I will most likely not get massage there again.

I also appreciate that they push to turn off or silence phones. Unplugging is the way to go when visiting these types of facilities. Also, the massages were fantastic - I got the deep tissue massage and I felt like a new woman after. My boyfriend also felt the same way. I teased him after about him making noises when getting a massage lol. He very much enjoyed it as this was a birthday present for him! We will definitely be doing this as a ritual every 3 to 4 months! Note: the only issue I had was parking - extremely hard to find parking. We recommend that you come at least 1 hour before your appointment, not only because of the parking issue, it also gives you ample time to enjoy the extra amenities that I listed above which comes with every service you book for.

Review for Immersion Spa ‍…read more I absolutely loved this place, and to this day, I still miss it. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a faithful and loyal customer at Immersion. It became one of my favorite self-care rituals. I would bring family and friends, and I went regularly--about once every quarter. It was something I always looked forward to. There is currently no Korean spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live now, and the closest option is in Atlanta. So yes... boo-hoo. Nothing quite compares to this experience. What made Immersion special was the sense of freedom and relaxation the moment you walked through the door. The spa is thoughtfully organized, very clean, and beautifully maintained. You store your belongings in secure lockers, receive a waterproof wristband, and then the entire experience begins. I always arrived at least 90 minutes before my massage so I could fully enjoy the amenities. That extra time was part of the magic. My favorite features included: * The hot tub and invigorating cold plunge * The wet sauna and dry sauna * The gentle, calming warmth of the Himalayan salt room * Complimentary roasted tea and water * High-quality bath and shower products in the women's area * A peaceful, well-run environment with clear structure and cleanliness standards Everything felt intentional and relaxing. My go-to service was always the Fusion massage, which blends shiatsu and deep tissue techniques using organic coconut oil. The therapists were incredibly skilled and intuitive--they knew exactly how to work out tension and restore balance. Some of the best massages I've ever had were here. Over the years, prices have increased slightly--as they have everywhere. I remember paying around $100 before COVID, and later seeing it closer to $130. Even so, the value of the experience made it worth every dollar. I was there hook, line, and sinker. A few practical notes for future guests: * Parking is limited and shared with neighboring businesses (including Kumon), so timing matters * The spa has separate men's and women's areas * No outside shoes are allowed inside the spa * Clothing is optional in designated areas, which is standard for Korean spa culture * Plan to arrive early to fully enjoy the amenities before your service One service I personally never tried was the traditional Korean body scrub. I watched others experience it, and while many people love it, it looked a little too intense for my taste. That said, the massages and spa amenities are absolutely exceptional. If you're considering a membership, it's worth exploring. This is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine once you experience it. I still haven't found anything in the Southeast that truly matches the level of service, atmosphere, and overall experience of Immersion. I keep looking--but this one set the bar very high. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

It is finally time for me to write a review on this place…read more A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)

If you're shopping for a hot tub and want a very knowledgeable, no-pressure buying experience, ask…read morefor Liam at Spa & Sauna Company. I've honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming--different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he'd be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I've ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models--including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn't stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty--everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We've now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I've literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you're looking for a hot tub and aren't sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection--and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.

Great job purging, draining and cleaning our hot tub. Will use them again next year!read more
