Happy to visit, experience, and review this place! I found this place through an Instagram ad about their bogo deal for the end of May. This franchise has many locations in California, with Santa Clara being the closest one for me. It was easy to book an appointment with a live person over text and over the phone! I booked for a Friday morning around 10:30 am. There's lots of parking spots and lots near the plaza so that wouldn't be trouble for you. Once I walked in, I was checked in and given a walk through of the place, from their merchandise, drink station, towel drop off area, and bathrooms. It's a 40 minute session, which includes if you want to shower after the sauna. It's a private room all to yourself with a locked door, TV for streaming, and a shower if you need to use it. They have Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube for streaming services. The sauna experience was self explanatory with a timer above the bench area with a control panel for the temperature and the light therapy. I was sitting around 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and I definitely did work up a sweat after 15-20 minutes. They provide 4 complimentary towels - cold face towel for after, floor towel, face towel, and long towel. Additional towels are $2.00 extra. Such a great experience! Came here for the first time and was greeted by staff who were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. It's a nice experience with clean rooms, a TV, and plenty of towels. As a first timer, staff walked us through the process, settings, recommendations, and even the benefits of the infrared sauna. My favorite part has to be the cooling towels, they're so refreshing especially after sweating a ton. They also have a water dispenser near the rooms for cooling and hydration throughout the experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's interested in IR saunas. read more

I had a good first time experience here. I booked the intro session for $20. Making an appointment was easy online. The location is convenient, and there is plenty of free parking in the Rivermark Plaza. Since it was my first time, they gave me a tour of the space and a run down of what expect in the sauna room. My room had both the sauna and a shower. It was very spacious and clean. There were enough towels to use (2 in the sauna itself, 1 on the floor, and 1 in the shower). However, you can request additional towels for a fee. It was easy to set the temperature and lights to my preference, and overall it was a very relaxing experience especially since you can hear the music inside the sauna room. The entire appointment, including any changing and showering, needs to be within the 40 minute timeframe. I wish they had a clock or some sort of gentle alarm in the room, since I didn't love having to set my own alarm (minor, I know, but detracts from the relaxing experience). They do give some grace period if you're a few minutes over though. Overall, a great spot to relax and unwind and bonus points for being able to use your HSA/FSA card here. read more

Adding this to my monthly wellness routine!!! Absolutely love this place and all the benefits - infared red light therapy sauna. You can set the color light to any color you want depending on what you want to target or treat (they have a pamphlet that explains everything) Sessions are 40 mins, you can either book a suite with a shower or without but know that the shower will cut into the 40 minutes time and take away from being in the sauna. There are speakers inside for you to watch shows or play music. You can adjust everything inside from temp, timer, red light therapy on/off, color light therapy, aux, etc. After the session my skin always feels refreshed, soft, my body feels rejuvenated and recharged and I just feel sooooo good. It's complimented with a cold essential oil afterward to wipe your body down after and it is heavenly. Once signed up, they can save your preferred sauna settings for your next visit. This was my first visit and it was fantastic! I have heard so much about Red Light Therapy and it is wonderful that this place offers a body treatment. We were greeted by Corrina who checked us in, showed us around and then explained the options in our sauna. The sauna room is private, they provide the towels to sit on as well as a cold towel scented with eucalyptus for a bit of cooling. They have 3 sauna rooms with an attached shower and offer complimentary shampoo/conditioner and body soap. There are also 4 sauna rooms that do not have a shower. All rooms have a TV with multiple streaming services on demand to entertain while you work up a warm sweat in the sauna!! If you are interested in that, turn it on while the attendant is there just in case the guest before you accidentally signed out of the streaming services. This location is super clean. I felt very comfortable in the sauna and was able to work up quite a sweat - a great detox! Be prepared to drink lots of water during and after your visit as your body can stay warm for a while. There was no problem with fitting 2 adults in the sauna. The one issue with both of us using the same sauna was that our tolerance to the temperature was different. So we had to compromise a little to meet in the middle. And since the sauna compartment is private, I could easily step out of the sauna for a moment when it became too warm for me. Love love love the experience provided by Perspire. The staff are very welcoming, which created a warm atmosphere. My best friend and I booked a session at 8:05am. We decided to come a bit early to get a tour of the studio and saw that they clean the room after every session. They thought of everything and I mean everything!!! Each room has 5 towels for every person (1 floor, 2 body, 1 face, 1 eucalyptus) for customers to use as they choose during their session. I found the eucalyptus towel to be very refreshing after sitting in the sauna. There are different colors you can choose from and each color has different benefits. We chose to turn on the red light and blue light. There are TVs in every room with Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube for customers to use. We were able to watch our favorite sitcom while being heated from the inside out. There were speakers built in the sauna and the audio was very clear. Tips: I would recommend wearing a swimsuit and bringing slides you don't mind getting wet. The private rooms that are even numbered (2,4,6) have showers. They provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. This came in handy because we both had to go to work after. Please hydrate and eat a small meal before your session. We did not eat anything and barely drank water, which caused me to feel a little light headed. If you need water they have a water station where you can fill up your bottle or they have drinks you can purchase in the front. read more

My first experience here was for a yelp elite event and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However I returned a second time and had a completely different experience from my yelp event. I was under the impression that the price is per suite and not by person. My boyfriend had used his intro offer for $30 and invited me to come since we thought it was by suite. After our session, the male at the front desk asks for my name and requires me to pay as well. I believe this should have been clarified up front rather than post session. The session is booked for 40 minutes and from my yelp experience, we were told to set the time for 40 min once we entered the actual sauna. From the most recent experience, the 40 minutes is for the room, give or take a few minutes for changing. Realistically, it takes some time to fill your water, get changed before and after and we ended up feeling rushed. I think it is quite confusing with the pricing and time limits and it should be made more clear beforehand to avoid any misunderstandings and expectations. Also found it interesting that it was my boyfriends first experience with his intro offer and there was no tour or explanation whatsoever while the front desk lady was extremely friendly and gave me an explanation, tour, etc during the yelp event. I think the yelp event was an inaccurate expectation of what a paid experience would actually be. The male at the front desk definitely was not friendly which made the experience worse. read more

Each room has its own TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc for entertainment during your 40 minute session. There's 3 towels in the sauna - face, body, floor, and a cold scented towel for after your session. Even numbered rooms have showers. I'd definitely recommend booking a room with a shower if you can! It's a game changer so you can go about with the rest of your day. But when the weather gets cold and winter hits now I could walk to this place and pretend I'm at some tropical country enjoying the heat. Operated and owned by Kevin and his assistance partner in crime Vanessa. Both bring a lot of energy to this studio when I come for my session. So they offer several packages day passes or membership. I'm not too sure the cost now I opted for the founders membership which gives you 4 sauna session a month and any unused session it is rolled over the next month. Back to what I was saying after your sauna session you could leave or if you feel hungry no problem Rivermark Plaza is full with food options. Parking is limited oh and please secure your valuable. Booking a session is easy as 1-2-3 on the app platform. About the studio guests has an option to two different studio one with a shower or one without. All are equipped with television and more than standard media amenities. They also give you two clean towels to use as you perspire and to top it off a wet towel with refresh mint smell to used to finalize your closing visit. Ive been very excited for this place to open! I walked in for the first time and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had my room ready and gave me a full tour of the space and then we went into my private room. It was even better than what I had hoped for, very clean, towels folded very nice and the sauna looked almost futuristic. They told me how to work it and what to expect and then it was time to get my session! The session was amazing. I came in for arthritis in my knees and ankles and to get a good sweat and detox. You also get medical grade red light therapy in every session along with the infrared therapy. Immediately when I got out my knees and ankles already felt better, and I felt relaxed and lighter on my feet. I also checked my heart rate rate on my Apple Watch and it hit about 117 while I watched Netflix and just sat there. Oh yeah there tv entertainment to help the 40 minutes fly by. I am going to plan on coming in 3-4 times a week to get the full benefits. The fact that you get your own sauna that is spotless and you don't have to share with other people at th gym is amazing! As a first timer I would have liked more information ahead such as whether to wear sunscreen, clothing options, and scientific backing on the benefits that outweighs the disadvantages you find on the internet, whether it's true or myth. The actual experience the heat was a bit overwhelming. If I were to try this again I would find out the lowest heat that will still provide positive results as reference. Bring water. It is critical for the shop to provide paper cups for water as dehydration could be a health hazard. The surface was quite hard compared to a steam sauna and a pillow or something could be helpful. Each room has their own TV, but only half have showers, and it's exclusive for members. The 40 mins go fast but it's good self care. However, it is pricey! This is one of my biggest monthly expenses, so I don't know how long I can continue to afford this. Cleaning is their major choke point but I always see so many empty rooms whenever I go. I hope they open more times, especially for rooms with showers. It makes a big difference to have one. I was lied to at sign up though. I was told you can book multiple sessions in a day, but that's not true. For someone who can't always go everyday and have trips for a week or two every month, the value can go away fast. I signed up for a time slot using the app, which was simple and easy to use. Upon my arrival, I was given a short tour of my room and then left to enjoy the sauna for 40 minutes. I really enjoyed the red light therapy and played nice meditation music to relax. One thing to keep in mind is if you want to shower after, or if you are late, it is included in the time slot, which goes by quick! Overall, Perspire's facilities were extremely clean and modern. Great location near a Safeway and restaurants for a convent bite to eat after. Although this is definitely a "luxury" addition for self-care, it forces you to take a full 40 minutes for yourself and leaves you feeling reset and replenished after.
