    Short Ribs
    Qin Z.

Great service and the decor was classic for an Italian restaurant. Food came out decently fast. The bread was alright. Not the best and not too shabby. Black and blue mussels: 5/5 great mussels and that touch of cheese is delicious. Very fresh and floral. Pappardelle a la Toscana: 4/5 creamy and flavorful. Solid pasta. Short Rib: 2/5 flavors are alright. Nothing special; similar to some beef stews. What really irks me is that these were "boneless" short ribs. It texture and taste is more like chuck compare to actual short ribs Overall: 3/5 a hit or miss with the food but the short ribs did not satisfy. However, the mussels were great!

We dined here last before heading to Longwood Gardens. Atmosphere: bright Service: Taylor was ok. She made suggestions and answered questions I asked. Food: Boneless beef short ribs with a baked potato and house vegetables, which were zucchini, squash, onions, and bell peppers. The food came out warm. The meat was flavorful and tender, the baked potato was microwaved for too long so some parts were hard and the vegetables were good. They charged what was called a "TECHNOLOGY FEE" if you used a card to pay. I frown against businesses that do this. I didn't recall a sign posted anywhere stating that this fee would be assessed if you don't use cash. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal. I would go back if I'm in the area again but would try their pizza.

Different Cheesesteak #1147. I had high expectations for this place. I got the Cheesesteak Panini. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. You broke my heart Kennett Square. It had flavor, came with Floga made chips (or french fries) and was $13ish. These things I liked. I liked people watching in the parking lot. The young ladies at the counter were polite and professional.

Really enjoyed our stay here - came for dinner after celebrating an anniversary at a local winery. We were met with excellent service sitting outside on the patio and were served freshly baked bread and oil, exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. As an appitizer we had the Stuffed Portabellas (a great autumn dish!) - 3 good size mushroom tops covered with spinach, peppers, and cheese. We also split a mista side salad - absolutely loved the addition of kalamata olives, which not every restaurant does. For entrees, we had Tortellini Milano and Pollo Villagio. The tortellini Milano had broccoli and mushrooms in a fantastic blush vodka sauce. The Pollo Villagio was delicious, filled with sausage and chicken in such a large portion it was unable to be finished and we had to take it home. We would absolutely return here and order these same entrees again in a heartbeat!

My friend made a New Years Eve reservation here via open table as it was centrally located for all that were coming for dinner. A BYOB that offers a dining room as well as take out including pizza. Located close to Longwood Gardens. Our server was great. Some of my friends enjoyed their meals, some of them thought it was more meh. I had the seafood scampi with penne and I felt that there was a lack of flavor. I thought it was just me but another one of my table mates got it and had the same feedback. The scallops were a little overcooked as well. I actually didn't even eat all of my scallops and shrimp because I just wasn't into it. The penne was fine though, so I ate most of that and just left some of the seafood. That would typically never happen :-( Dessert reminds me of an old school restaurant (which I love) where they bring out a sample tray of all the offerings and you can see what the actual dishes look like. I picked the baklava, which I know is Greek, but I though why not. It was dry as a bone and on the hard side. The total opposite of what baklava should be. Meanwhile my friends loved their cannolis and tiramisus. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying their pizza if I was visiting Longwood Gardens.

Supposed to be spaghetti with Bolognese sauce notice the absence of meat. Its tomato sauce from a can.

I had the spaghetti with meatballs. It was billed as Spaghetti W/ Meatballs with Bolognese sauce if your not familiar with bolognese recipe is not as heavily based on tomatoes as typical Italian-American meat sauces. In fact, the meat is cooked with white wine, milk, and chicken stock in addition to tomatoes. This was flat out tomato sausage maybe right from a can. It lacked flavor and depth that the bolognese on the menu boasted. . The meatballs were tiny golf balls very dense. Service was fast friendly it was very busy because of the Longwood Christmas show. Bread they brought to the table was hot and fresh family enjoyed it but they literally only brought one per person three people three rills seemed a bit stingy. Overall 5 out of 10.

Wow!! What a find! We found this on our way to Longwood Gardens, but it would be worth the drive to just eat here. We started with the delicious Zuppa di Pesce. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauce was excellent. Next we had a Margherita pizza. Crispy crust, delicious sauce, quality mozzarella and fresh basil. Very, very good. The stuffed portabellas was fantastic. Probably the best balsamic reduction I've ever had. Large portion of 3 mushrooms, yummy stuffing of spinach and roasted red peppers topped with good quality provolone. The dinner rolls were fresh and served warm. We had the baklava for dessert because it was made in house. Sweet, flaky gooey deliciousness. I highly recommend Floga!

Delicious pizza. Large slices of pepperoni and tasty sausage.

Rib rolls: 4/5 The shredded short ribs could be a bit more moist and flavorful but pairs very well the horseradish aioli. Chicken Alfredo: 5/5 likely on the of the best Alfredo I have had. Grilled chicken was perfect not too dry and flavorful and the noodles cooked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful but not too heavy with cream like most places. Meat Lover Pizza: 4/5 Solid pizza! Out of six people only one dinner was edible, the short ribs. I'll start with veal al sudo, described on the menu as jumbo crab meat arugula topped with veal medallion, sounds great right? What we received a plate Frozen vegetable carrots and broccoli amount of mashed potatoes and on top really bad looking veal, see picture,. One of the other dish was ziti arrabiata, how can you screw that up all it is is red tomato sauce with red pepper flakes, right? Well what we got instead was pasta swimming in a red sauce with chopped up peppers chicken and then on top melted mozzarella, the sauce tasted like it was burnt at the bottom and they scraped the pan, not edible. Now how can you screw up a margarita pizza? After all fresh tomatoes fresh mozzarella and basil, right? No, heart as a rock crust regular melted cheese on top, droplets of some kind of tomato sauce overly spiced and no fresh mozzarella, I asked for arugula on top, and that was the only good part of my pizza was the arugula. You would think that a restaurant that wants return clientele would make it right credit you for the food that you did not eat that they took back into the kitchen, but no they decided to only credit 1 margherita pizza out of five meals that were not edible. When I questioned are waitress crediting us for the rest she did not answer me she looked at me and walked away. We left and will not return. normally I always give a restaurant a second chance when they make the effort to make the customer happy, but not this time. Not sure if they have a new cook or possibly going through hard times. They gave us free dessert to take with us as we were leaving thinking that would make up for the bill that we paid for all the uneaten food that was not edible.

We initially planned to have dinner at the restaurant, but our GPS led us to the adjacent sports bar with the same name. We were seated at a high-top table near the bar and greeted by our friendly server. The menu was similar to the restaurant (I think), but regardless, we were looking for pizza and a beer. They offer two styles of crust: NY-style and Neapolitan. We ordered a cheese pizza with the latter wood fired crust. Our pizza arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was fine. The crust was not as light as I thought it should be. The pie was a good size and plenty for both of us. Service was great the entire evening, and we enjoyed our meal.

I wasn't sure what to make of it as I would have expected a full house on a Saturday night. I'm going to start with a few opportunities. First, the initial glass of water I was brought was not clean. There was literally some food on the side of it. Second and keeping on the topic of water, the waiter did not come back to fill empty glasses of water. Next, I was looking forward to the tomato garlic bread but it was hard when I but into it. Finally, my counterpart ordered a burger and after eating about half of the burger, each bite was like biting into a pallet of salt. It was like someone accidentally spilled a salt shaker so he obviously couldn't finish it. On the positive side, the place was quiet which was nice, the manager (or maybe it was even the owner) when we asked for more water bought us a carafe so we didn't run out again (which I love), and also when we left I accidentally forgot my takeout container on the table and again the manager (or owner) ran out after us to get it to us which I appreciated so much. Relative to the food, it was average (minus the salt side of the burger which was not good). The soft pretzel appetizer was good and I had lasagne which was decent enough. I will say it was a huge lasagne portion (two squares)! Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back with so many other options.
