Great showroom! You get to actually see so many samples in bigger sizes and on walls! We can't say enough about Estephanie, a designer there. She walked around the store with us and our cabinet/countertop samples to find the right backsplash and more. We don't have the flair for this but she was excellent. This is not specific to this store, this is for the whole corporation. I found 5 different styles/types of floors on-line I am interested in for my houses. Every single one that I calculated for how many boxes was not available at my local F&D in Countryside. I would have to order and have it shipped to my local store with additional charges depending on how many boxes I needed which added up to almost $200 double that because I am remodeling two houses and wanted two different styles. I got to chat with someone on-line and if it's at the port, I can have it shipped with no additional charges. Out of 5 of the choices I made, only one is at port, HOWEVER, because it's going to be discontinued I have to order a minimum of 40 boxes. I only need 28-30 boxes but they want me to order 40 and , of course, no refunds. That's an additional $700 of materials I don't need. How does a company FORCE customers to order more than they need because it's being discontinued? I will never do business with this place. I needed a total of around $4,000 in flooring. So F&D losses $4,000 in business because they want me to buy an additional amount of materials I don't need. I have the transcript if F&D claims this is not true and needs to see it! I'll shop somewhere else that doesn't add ridiculous charges. read more

I cannot give this place a half of a star. It is so poorly managed. I wasted 3 trips to this store before making a final decision for 4 bathrooms and a kitchen backsplash. The person that was to do the paperwork said she'd be right back. Never to be seen again. They had not thing in stock that we wanted and Th person who finally showed up to help a good 30 plus minutes later had nothing but F-bombs to contribute. I gave them the order and received a call from Joan the next day. She wanted to know if we got pricing etc. I said no. Then she could not find the information. I was in and out of American Tile Imports the next day stress free. Stay away from floor & decor. They know nothing about your tile needs. read more

They may have a good product, not great, but terrible customer service. They are there just to sell quantities and tell you anything. Tile Shop or even Lowe's is still much better option for tiles and most importantly for customer service, follow up and true professional advice. Usually I know exactly what I want. However today I had an associate named Scott help me pick out flooring for my rental properties. Not only did he help me pick out flooring he pulled it all delivered it to my truck and helped me load it in my truck. I can't tell you the last time I had customer service like this. 5 WEEK + wait on a super small order. Poor over worked employees. Very bad communication Plus you get to sit on hold and listen to the continuous tape telling you over and over how they have everything in stock. If our kitchen wasn't being held up for 3 weeks it would be sort of funny. Something is not being done right there in Countryside. I attended her on-site class today; she was very easy to understand and highly responsive to all questions asked by all participants. After the class, she was also very helpful with ensuring that I got the right products for my DIY tile job. When you work with contractors or vendors, you just know when you are in good hands or not. January 28th 2018 - Choosing anything to remodel a home is difficult and frustrating. Friday's experience with Mac and Scott at Floor & Decor was a surprise and fun!  We got expert answers to all of our questions which made our decisions ultimately easy. When my friend complained that she was getting irritated and becoming irritating because she was suffering from chocolate withdrawal, Mac offered her a choice of M&M's or Kit Kats!  Needless to say chocolate, expert knowledge, and personable assistance, not to mention a wide selection of fairly priced products, puts Floor and Decor on top of our list of "go to" places for Home Remodeling. read more

I was in this store today, approached a younger female employee and said hello so that I could ask her a question. Her response was a mumbled "what's up?" I thought that was kind of unprofessional and rude. I also don't like how there are no prices on any of the vanity's or bathroom stuff in their showroom. So you have to go get an employee and have them scan a barcode for anything you're interested in. But if you're just looking for tile and flooring they have a massive selection to choose from so there's that. I won't return. read more

My friend recommended this place. He told me that they had a large selection of tile. I went there with my wife and we were both impressed with the product and the great service. Jake, the store manager, spent a good amount of time with us showing us the different tiles and marble. The next day, I went back with my brother in law, who owns a heavy duty truck. Again, Jake helped me with picking. out everything I needed for the project, including trowels and sealer. Then they loaded everything on a skid and wrapped it all in plastic, due to the fact that it was raining. I could not be happier with this company, and the manager, Jake. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor. When looking for tile, go to this store and ask for Jake. You can't go wrong. read more

In June, we bought a counter top for our kitchen. After four weeks, the contractor from Floor & Decor came to install it, and we found out that the color of the pieces didn't match. We complained to the store, and they promised us that they'd replace them. They came back after a few months after we argued with them to do so. They came with a new piece, but it was scratched, so we refused the installation. It's November, now, and we still have not resolved the issue with Floor & Decor. If anyone wants to buy counter tops from this store, then ten times before you do. It's not worth it. It's aggravating, and the customer service is terrible. No one knows what they're doing, and they aren't competent. Zero stars for this campany. read more

Very happy with the quality, and variety of flooring they had to select from. Each store has something a little different, and we found the hard wood we liked best at this store. Finishing up a bathroom remodel and wanted some tile for the walk-in shower that would knock you off your feet. My husband and I walk the store looking for the right tile. While looking at a tile my husband liked, Tommy came up and asked if we needed help. We through questions and he has the right answers. Then we get to the main question. Do you have a polished tile to match what we were looking at? By this time, Chet has joined us and right away says, we have what you're looking for in 24X48,let me show you. So the four of us go over to the tile and Chet was right. It was gorgeous! So then they have to figure out how much we need and if they have it all at that store. They did! Paid for it and now it's time to load it all up. But my husband didn't drive his pick-up. We were in the SUV. Not to worry. Tommy, Chet and Abraham loaded up all that heavy tile just right so we didn't break any on the way home. I'm so appreciative to these guys. They were right on time. Great place to shop for tiles. We came in looking for some tiles for our kitchen. After picking out the ones we wanted, Mike helped us load them onto the cart. We have been looking all over for reasonably priced tile for a bathroom remodel and found it here. Everywhere we went, the tiles were all more expensive than our tiny, older home warranted. I visited the store about a week ago and bought a sample of glass tile for a backsplash. I went online and saw that they had 268 pieces in stock "ready for pickup today if you order before 2 pm." I decided to go to the store in person so I could purchase all of the materials needed at once. While standing directly in front of the shelf with the tile, the salesperson said they only had 8 pieces in stock as I'm looking at two boxes on the shelf, plus another stack of tile on the side. There were definitely more than 8 pieces on the shelf. Frustrated, I left the store, went back online, and it still showed 268 pieces in stock. I called the store and I was told that what I see online is not what they see online. So my question is: how do I know how many pieces they have in stock? Is it the 8 pieces the salesperson shows on her phone? Is it the number that is online? Is it the number that is on the shelf? What do "they" see when they look it up and why isn't the same as what is posted online? When I looked at other stores' availability online, a list pops up of all the nearby stores and how many pieces each store has. It even gives the time that it was updated, which was the exact time that I was looking at the list. Why does Floor & Decor post online that it is available today when it is not? Why do they even show the number of pieces available if that is not what "they" see? What I'm trying to say in all this is buyer beware. Do not believe anything you see online on their website because that is not what "they" see. read more

We were at the store last Friday with an idea of what we were looking for based on a previous visit. After looking around a bit, one of the guys working at the store, Jimmy assisted us choosing floor tile for our bathroom. I think his main role was to bring stock out onto the floor, but when he saw us struggling with making a decision he stepped right in to help us! He was so nice, so courteous and he even managed to discount tile that was already on sale without even asking him to do so. It was a great experience! This store has a wonderful, very helpful staff! I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile and a hand willing to help. The staff was completely knowledgeable of there products and were very eager to help, I had everything on my cart and at the checkout in no time, and the only work I had was to chose what I liked and wanted!! We have probably spent $10,000 at the Countryside Floor and Décor over the last 3 years on various projects - kitchen , mudroom and several bathrooms. Everyone I have dealt with is extremely kind and helpful, if they do not know an answer they find the person who does. One of the great things about this store is that they show a very large sampling of each tile choice on the wall, and tiles are grouted. So you need not try to visualize how the product will look - they tell you the grout manufacturer and color and you can see how the tile is spaced. Sometimes I have gone in there not sure what it is that I am seeking - but I have always always found the perfect tile for the project and now I go there for inspiration. They are kind about returns and just about as user - friendly as it gets. It is hard to imagine that professional designers have any more tile resources than F & D. read more
