I feel like we won the lottery when we were in the store and happened upon Lisa, who was stocking shelves. I had never anticipated such thorough service at a DIY store, but the help that Lisa gave us was incredible and highly appreciated. She not only offered her educated opinion on what we were looking to buy, she also helped educate us on facts about the materials and requirements that we would need for our project. We purchased a few items to check color and told we were allowed to return unused items. When we returned with the unused items, a few days later, lightening struck us twice, in the very best way. We found Lisa and she walked the store with us, making sure that we had all of the materials that we needed in our cart, helping to match grout color and confirming quantities etc. She rang the order up from the sales floor and suspended it and when we arrived to the register to pay, it was only a matter of the clerk pulling up the order and we were off. The selection at Floor & Decor is lovely, yes. The help is tremendous. This store is lucky to have such knowledgeable, kind, helpful staff. Lisa is outstanding. The most disgusting service there is. I am a former customer because the experience I had at this store was insulting. I was minding my own business trying to find tile and grout for a project and I saw this worker under the name BILL taking pictures of another womans derriere. I also overheard this man ask another coworker if he would "tap that", referring to myself. I complained with managers about this behavior and how uncomfortable I felt. I decided to give the store another chance and I figured I shouldn't sacrifice this project because of a disgusting pervert that until that point I assumed he no longer was working there. To my surprise, BILL is still working at the store and its clear that management gives zero fucks about female customers. I don't even want to imagine the treatment the female employees must receive in that store. Its very sad to see that they don't care at all for woman's safety. DO NOT BUY HERE! Excellent experience at this store in Countryside, IL. We worked with Tim and he helped my sister and I for HOURS as we looked through boxes of tile trying to find the pieces that would work for our project. Tim brought out additional pallets of stone and never made us feel like we were imposing, or making him work. He even offered us gloves so our hands were covered as we looked through the tiles. Not only that, since we were there as I mentioned for hours, he offered us water and then coffee! This employee should be commended. It was such a great experience to have a professional, mature, employee that actually wanted to be working and helping the customers. THANK YOU TIM! I would recommend this store to anyone that is considering a flooring project. It has an unbelievable selection of all types of flooring and tile and is an AMAZING place to shop! I had a major issue with some tile I ordered and the amazing cashier Kona worked so hard for two days to help me resolve my issue. I couldn't locate my shipment of tiles and she worked non stop and took time out of her day to help me. I could've called all these numbers I was given but she willingly did it her self and got to the bottom of the issue when no one else helped me or was able to. Not only was I satisfied with her help I was so satisfied with the kindness and care she showed to me and others around her. I shop at this location quite often I notice her remembering the customers and giving them the same respect she gave to me. Kona was amazing and definitely deserves the recognition. These people are great. Everyone notices your presence and offers to help. They are knowledgeable about their materials and seek to find what you want and need. The people on the floor are helpful in explaining terms and pricing, matching materials to need, explaining differences, and picking through boxes to make sure the materials you select are without flaws. The people at the registers are informative as to what to do if you need to return items. The staff is excellent about taking things to the car, transferring them, and collecting what you might need to return. I cannot imagine a better experience! read more

Went to Floor and Decor today with my partner and had the most absolute positive experience. We were so undecided on what tile and baseboard to buy and Karen who works there stepped in and made so many excellent suggestions. If it wasn't for her, I think we'd still be shopping around. We have several projects planned and will do all of our business here and hopefully with Karen again. I would really hope that Floor and Decor open a location by us here in the Frankfort area but again, the service we received today makes it worth the trip to Countryside. During my visit, I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan. Jonathan was very pleasant and knowledgeable. My husband and I told him what we had in mind and he recommended some excellent choices and gave us some great ideas. The staff was very friendly and we were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. I had a rather large order so we had to come back the next day to pick up our items, in which at that time we still received the same great customer service as the day before. I can't say enough about the wonderful service we received from the staff at this store. A special call out goes to Vonnie who was patient, helpful and had great suggestions for me and my husband who had no idea what we we doing! Vonnie should get a raise just for having to deal with us. Super excited when i found out they were opening a location closer to me. Me and my husband have been shopping at floor and decor over other stores like home depot or menards for a few years now because their prices are great and the staff is always super helpful. I was suprised at their wide selection compared to the other stores so we were absolutely thrilled about our purchase. Josh was very helpful with us and he seemed to know alot about the product. Fantastic experience here this week! I needed 76 boxes of small tiles for two showers in our new house. Not an easy find! Marissa helped me find 46 boxes at their store and Vonnie was AMAZING running back and forth from their stockroom counting what they had and loading them up for me.
