The customer service for the store in general is 4 stars, the design service is 5 stars! This store is incredible! We got trendy gray wood flooring for a steal - half of what Sam's Club or Home Depot were charging for a similar style! Their tile selection is everything you'd find at Home Depot or Lowe's and then triple it. They have so much to choose from so you really need to take your time when you're there. The only drawbacks are that it is HOT in their store all the time. Seriously, bring a cool drink. I don't know if tile needs to be stored a certain way or what, but it's a bit rough. Also, getting someone to help you order items that are not in stock has been tricky all three times I've needed to do it. The cashiers are incredible, but no one answers them when they ask for someone to come up and do an order. I waited 30 minutes on one visit and was literally getting in my car to leave when someone finally came up. The design service is something everyone should take advantage of. We are about to start a bathroom renovation and all three contractors who came by to do an estimate told us to use Floor & Decor's free design consultation. This is seriously a STEAL! You get 1 hour of uninterrupted time with a design specialist! I met with Stephanie and she is the reason my bathroom is going to be amazing! Our meeting was design-focused and was not a sales pitch. I was not magically led to the most expensive tiles in the store or pressured to add/upgrade more products. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted and had a mile-long list of what I did not want. She helped me shape that into a look I never would have considered before. Best of all, your design consultant takes your measurements and creates a shopping list. It includes quantities and prices for the tile, mortar, grout, schluter, etc. It takes the guesswork out of measuring and design all in one go. I have been working with Floor & Decor Las Vegas for a couple of months on some home renovations and flip projects we have underway. My first visit there I met an employee named Irish. My wife and I cannot thank Irish enough for the help and guidance he has given us during our purchasing process. He signed us up for a PRO account which no one had ever told us about. He assisted us with locating tile we had used on other projects in the past and overall has been an absolute life saver on making our projects and renovations run smooth as silk on the tile and flooring side of things. Chaz Suarez exemplifies customer service. Even though his shift was almost over, he pulled out eight marble thresholds to find the only one that wasn't cracked. I needed two, so he suggested using black granite thresholds after explaining the difference in hardness between various flooring materials. Chaz also suggested applying 511 Seal & Enhance instead of regular sealer to make the star galaxy quartz I chose look richer on my fireplace. In addition to being a wealth of knowledge, Chaz took my heavy purchases out to my car. My wife and I are doing some remodeling in out 2 bathrooms and we are looking for some new tile to put in. I had been looking at some different types of tiles and my wife saw one she liked. I looked behind the display and there was not enough tile for what we needed. So I walked down to the end of the aisle and saw I worker by the name of CHAZ SUAREZ asked him if for help. He proceeded over to where the tile that we were looking and checked to see if they had anymore of that tile which they did but it would have to be ordered. He explained the whole process of ordering. And then started asking us questions about where the tile was going. After explaining everything he made a couple of suggestions based on the the infomation we gave him. He was very knowledgeable and help us through the whole selection process. I'm a kitchen/bathroom designer who has moved here from Atlanta and used Floor and Decor numerous times here and back east. DERICK DRUMGOOLE, at the pro desk, was a big help as the tile I ordered had not arrived yet and I needed the bullnose pieces to complete the shower area so a glass company could come and measure. He found enough pieces in the other store in Las Vegas and picked it up for me and so I could pick it up early the next day at his store. I went to pick up tiles without my husband and found my myself struggling to load them onto the cart due to shoulder injury. Jorge saw me from a distant and immediately came to my assistance. Don't waste your time. They clearly have comparable prices, but it's not worth it. We bought and paid for our tile, set up delivery, only to get a call the next day that "it disappeared." Also, don't pay any cash because "they don't keep that much cash in the drawer." So, I have to wait 7-14 business days for a corporate check. Matt needs to rethink his career. Don't do business with this company. When I purchased my flooring I indicated to the salesman that I was very sensitive to delivery date. Even changed my flooring selection to something he said he could definitely get by the April 8th. He told me my new flooring was in a warehouse already in Vegas. I used to love this place. Great selection and second to none in customer service. That is why I have been a repeat customer for years. But selection is now limited and customer service is the absolute worst. In the past, you had people help you that knew what they were talking about. Now, it seems like the place is full of minimum-wage help, that knows nothing about the products they sell and / or where it is located in the store. Worse shopping experience ever. Started with a decent sales person to show me where the materials were and some limited knowledge. Then took a sample to checkout and down to 0 stars. The woman had no idea about the product and no info, forgot to give me change then while 3 people were trying to figure out change a guy was dispatched with my sample to get the name of the product. Finally change was given but no sample so had to chase him down and didn't have paper/pencil to write down anything and states didn't have a chance too. If customer service is that poor products can't be much better so fortunately only wanted $5.41. If you are a contracted and know what you want and need prices may work but the 1st woman also stated some contractors in store....not sure I would usr them either. read more

My Floor and Decor experience was fine. But the bank they use for financing your purchase was a nightmare. We got a loan for our flooring project for about $3000 with no interest for 18 months or so. I sent my payments to them through my banks bill pay service. My payment was due on 1/2/20, I sent on 12/27/19 with a delivery time of 5 days, per Wells Fargo. The payment went out right away and on Jan 13 they still "haven't received my payment". With holidays accounted for, it's been 8 business days. 11 if you count Saturday's. They pulled this twice in 3 months resulting in lots of phone time and 2 late charges of $39. I finally called and paid it in full because I was afraid they were going to screw up my high credit score. So much for "no fees" for 18 months. They'll get it one way or another. Whether you're a do it yourselfer or a seasoned contractor these guys are awesome. Compared to other tile stores in town that I've used for the last five years they blow the socks off of everyone with their friendliness customer service and ability to get what you're trying to get done. They have a sense of urgency when you need it and a willingness to take as much time as it does when you're working through design ideas. I used to love this store but recently bought 65 cases of flooring shipped from California to this location in Las Vegas. I had to rent a Home Depot flatbed truck and called the morning to pickup my order when they told me it was ready for pickup. I arrived and waited 1hour and 22mins to pickup my order and have it loaded and I asked three people why my order was not being taken care of. The employees said you will just have to wait. There was no customer service and were the employees were very rude about it. I saw that they were wrapping the orders before they sent them out to be loaded so they were very unprepared also I saw another customer with forklift forks driven through his order damaging his product. The guys on the forklifts act like they just started driving this week. I spoke to the warehouse manager Eric who said that his guys were slow and nothing he could really do about it. I am really generous when people do work for me and I was going to tip the workers $20/person for them loading my material but when the employees tell me you just have to wait and not apologize about their performance and also say if you don't like it go somewhere else is a big shock to me how people actually treat customers nowadays. I am from the Midwest and this is unbelievable how rude these guys were. For someone who just spent $3,000 here you think they would act a little more responsible and kind to their customers. But the joke is on them I have five houses that will need flooring this year and they will not get anymore of my business. Please be aware and go somewhere else with your business!
