My husband is a "Do It Yourself" kind of guy, which I love about him! We shopped around to check out materials, pricing, etc. A couple months ago, we bought the Dynasty Cream Marble. Really good customer service. Every time we've gone in there, people have been willing and available to help us. We're going to add more marble and also go some kind of wood-laminate flooring. We went back and they have the type of flooring we are looking for. We just happened to be in the area so we stopped to look around. I'm sure we'll go back here when we're ready to start our flooring project. Other than the customer service, I'd have to say my favorite part about the store is all of their displays. The stock is unpredictable. If you see something that catches your eye, snatch it up before it depletes. Some of the items are on its last leg, so don't miss out. Especially if you are planning on doing large areas in a singular style. If you break down the the spaces then there will be fewer issues with the stock. There is an abundance of employees, so finding someone to help you is the easiest part. Having them navigate through what they have and match it up with bull nose edges and other pieces is more time consuming and not always fruitful. read more

This one star is only about returning items! So I'm trying to figure out backsplash, so I have been going the last two weeks picking different things. I finally decided and wanted to return the tiles I did not use. I have the receipts plus they have my phone number which pulls up all receipts. All I wanted was a gift card to go purchase what I wanted. It took over 30 minutes to put credits back on my card! Price and product are decent for what you get, however as a contractor these guys need a better loading system. One guy and one forklift for the amount of biz is ridiculous. Waiting almost an hour and haven't been loaded yet on a Monday morning is really sad. Hmmmmmm, one more loading crew could solve this issue. read more

"I's gotta place you's gotta go to's" Floor and Decor is nothing less than incredible. We have a fourplex with 4600sq ft and 100% of our flooring has come from here. All of the shower tile and backsplashes have come from here. The staff isn't perfect, but there is a few shining stars. The prices are astounding and the selection is large. All of our slate, ceramic, porcelain, stainless, glass mosaics, bamboo, engineered hardwood, grout has come from here. After many thousands of dollars spent here, I will recommend them highly. Take it from (now a renovation veteran), after remodeling the first condo, you learn whats necessary and whats frivolity... Now on the 3rd place, the learning curve is acute. Use tile instead of mosaics. Carpet is gross. Tile and hardwood. And granite. Go here. read more

Floor and Decor has a great selection. However, if you are looking for customer service or design advice, you will not find it here. Our first trip to Floor and Decor, we asked to see the in house design specialist. It was 4:30 p.m, and we were told she left on a family emergency. The next scheduled "designer" was not due to arrive for another hour. We returned a few days later at 5 pm, and it seems we missed the designer again, who had just left. But the next designer was due any time. She was running late as she has another job. When she finally arrived, it was a young lady who seemed nice enough, but was not helpful at all. She offered very little design advice...any questions I had were drawn out of her. I asked questions about travertine, but she knew less than I did, and I had recently reviewed info on travertine from their website. She finally showed us some tile combinations, but not until we asked what our options were. It was like being assisted by a petulant teenager, but without the charm and knowledge. Floor & Decor is great for do it yourselfers. But if you need design advice or ideas, this is not the place. The design staff I met knew very little about flooring and customer service. They should take the time to hire associates with actual flooring experience, and the very least--some communication skills. read more

Great selection of tile ranging from porcelain to natural stone. Floor and Decor does offer competitive prices however the customer service experience is fairly awful. I was running low on marble for my kitchen and needed something to border to fill spaces. I saw some beautiful travertine tile for $1.59, but chose a nice ceramic tile with a stone pattern instead. My father and I were waiting on some assistance, but nobody approached us or asked if we needed help. My father walked to the front of the store where he saw a lot of the employees standing around the register just talking and not looking too busy. Then he asked someone who appeared helpful for a cart, to which he replied carts are in the parking lot and pointed to the entrance/exit. After we got our cart, we noticed that the cases of tile were bound together in pairs, which we would eventually have to separated because we ended up needing an odd number of cases. Apparently, the customers are expected to carry their own knives because there was nobody available to offer any help with the packaging. After dulling my car key a bit from trying to separated the cases, a gentleman, who didn't look like he worked there, asked if we needed help. He then proceeded to write on a blank strip of paper and told us to take it to the register for checkout. Before checkout, we walked to the back of the store in search of thinset. The two young men working this department were very helpful in answering all my questions. Although these two dudes didn't look as though they worked there as well, they still approached us to see if we needed help. If it were not for the two fellas in the installation department, I would've given Floor and Decor two stars (one for the low prices and the other for the wide selection of tile). Because of those stellar guys I give Floor and Decor three stars. So if you're a manager and reading this...give those dudes a raise and some proper uniforms. read more

Recently purchased laminate flooring for my home remodel. Rainbow location was very helpful but my order couldn't be fulfilled totally. I went to Henderson the next day to recieve the rest of my order. Not only was their Henderson location hard to get in contact with by phone but when I made an appointment 3 hours in advance it was unfulfilled when I got there. As of this moment. I'm still waiting for my order to be fulfilled and it's been over an hour of waiting while other customers come and go. read more

My folks decided to put new floors in their home. So, after pricing a few places, we decided to go with Floor & Decor for everything. We went in and priced everything and ordered what we needed. We were given great service, and after we paid for the flooring they brought out the boxes to our truck and they loaded it up for us. It was a bit of a workout to get everything done but, they made it much easier for those of us who are do-it-yourselfers. I drove 30 miles to go there after shopping around online. They clearly beat every other retailers price on my specialized Aqua Blue Glass tile for my kitchen back splash at 89 cents each. So I go inside an was helped by a very friendly, knowledgeable Floor & Decor sales associate Moises. Not only did he help me for over 40 minutes, I did spend hundred$ there when we finished- he even spoke with my installer via phone to make sure we had the proper thin set & non sandable grout & trim. This is the place to go, do not even waste time anywhere else even their clearance stock outside was abundant. They need to give Moises a raise. New Store at Rainbow and Cheyenne Today I visited the new Floor and Decor warehouse at 3075 N. Rainbow Blvd.,L.V., 89108. This place is fabulous! The tiles are prominently on display individually, rather than stacked in a row so you can only see a portion of each. They are spaced apart nicely, each display a few feet apart, so you can focus on one at a time without being overwhelmed. There were displays of sections of grouted tiles so you could see what a few would look like, and walls of decorative tiles for showers or backsplash. It was so refreshing to have space and visuals to help plan my projects. I only saw a small portion of the tiles and can't imagine what all this place has to offer. I made an appointment with the decorator, Christina, to help me make selections based on tiles and pictures I will be taking in. I need a lot of input because I'm no designer, and this service being offered is so helpful. Andrew, the third party installer, also made an appointment for me to have my rooms measured so I can have accurate estimates once I make my flooring selections. As outstanding as this store was, the staff was equally as impressive. A very nice young man, Andres, assisted me with making a grout selection, choosing the correct mastic for my mosaic tile sheets, and sealants, which I will use on a table I am building. We discussed at length the preparation techniques, quality, application, etc. of the products I required. He was very knowledgeable. After helping me for at least a half hour, when I finally made all my selections, he offered continued assistance rather than rush off. You don't get that kind of service at Lowe's or Home Depot. Floor and Decor is head and shoulders above any big box stores. They know their product and are willing to assist you with patience and a smile. I had several questions and multiple staff members assisted me or just offered their opinion which I truly appreciated. A big thank you not only to Andres but also to Bernadette, Rokana, and Romy. If you can't find what you are looking for at Floor and Decor at the new Rainbow location, with the help of the fabulous staff, then you may not need it :). Give this store a look if you are considering any home renovations, selecting for a new build, or just to see the amazing amount of choices and displays for future reference. If I could rate people I would! Claudia and Lorenzo were 10/10 AMAZING!!! Lorenzo was super knowledgeable and helped us get everything we needed plus explained the why behind it all. Claudia stepped in after a big oops to help. It wasn't her fault, but she did everything she could to make things right. I kindly asked Claudia to get the manager for me as well. I told her I wanted them to know I appreciated her help and that I wanted to voice my frustrations. The long story short, On Saturday evening I purchased about 7500 in supplies, some of which were the last on the shelves. We needed to come back on Sunday to order some more of the flooring from their Draper location since this store didn't have enough. When I arrived on Sunday I discovered the 35 boxes of vinyl flooring I had purchased were never pulled off the shelves, this was easy to see since I had purchased 100% of their remaining inventory. It was supposed to be stored in the warehouse until the rest of my order was ready. I was horrified when there were two families literally with carts about to load up and buy the flooring that I had already paid for!! Turns out, some of the boxes of flooring I had paid for shouldn't have even been sold to me in the first place because somebody else had already purchased it. This caused such a mess with our plans to order from Draper, UT. The ordeal caused me to need to rent a larger vehicle etc. I asked to speak to the manager to both give Claudia some props (this isn't done enough these days) and explain my frustrations. Enter Lonny, the weekend manager who gets a 1/10. I gave Claudia all the praise which he didn't seem to care about :-(. Then when I surfaced my issues he nonchalantly said sorry these things happen. Yep. That was it. No empathy. No action. No credit. Nothing. Just No help at all. And what was most sad, NO gratitude for having a wonderful employee like Claudia who actually cared to help. See Claudia and Lorenzo if you go!! And avoid Lonny at all costs if you want to be treated as a valued customer. read more

Went to pick up my order in warehouse... The manager Byron tells me something went wrong with my order but they could order it from another store but it might take some time.. Another employee q says that they Will call me when it comes in. I left very upset that day. Two days later that same girl q leaves me a voicemail stating that she apologized for the mix up and that my order was ready now... Me and my installers were going to cancel my order because for sure we thought our project was going to be put back a few weeks because of the mix up. I dont know what those two associates did to correct the mistake but I have to say I couldn't have been any happier... They actually did what they said they would do... It's a huge store with many different selections to pick from the first thing I noticed was the great customer service I got as I stepped inside, everyone was saying hello even one guy employee right as I stepped in a huge smile and one loud hello haha...asking if I need help they were all just so helpful. I went in towards the late afternoon after lunch and noticed a big rush of customers on all sides by the registers I noticed a bunch of workers but only one guy ring up people, he seemed to be fine even though it looked crazy. Currently sitting in the warehouse pick up area for going on 30 minutes to pick up a small order. People who got here after us have been served and we are still waiting. All of this after I never got a confirmation email that my order was ready; I only found out when I called the store and the employee was like, oh yeah, it's ready. Uhh, ok. David was very helpful. Many employees walked by us and didn't acknowledge us but even though David was busy moving things with large machines he made sure to offer to help us as soon as he was done. He helped us with everything we needed and got us taken care of. Our last experience here was terrible though. We ordered backsplash for a remodel and they told us we would get it within 10 days but then when we went to see why they hadn't called us they informed us they couldn't place an order until more was ordered at the same time and it set us back on time. Horrible first experience but this second was much better thanks to David and our cashier Terry! If it wasn't for them this might be a 1 star review because it was that bad of a first experience. OK People, this is the NIRVANA of tile and flooring! The staff has been SO INCREDIBLY helpful, and we have been there too many times while redoing a kitchen and 3 bathrooms!! It is rows, and rows of every style tile you can imagine. And did I mention it is REALLY AFFORDABLE!!!!! Why so affordable you ask? Well because it is kind of a clearance center. That is really great IF they have enough of what you want. Sometimes it is a big if! Don't get me wrong, they will order if they can. Sometimes they can, and sometimes they can not. With that said, don't make the mistake we did! Picked out our tile, went back 2 weeks later to pick it up. They still had the tile, but all the edging was sold out. We worked it out and found something as fabulous that we love! But you get the point. Snooze you loose. They have a 30 day return policy, so you have no excuse! If you are looking for selection and savings...This is the place for you! If you are a house flipper, this is a good place to go and save but remember buyers do not want to pay top of the market pricing for bottom of the market materials! Pick quality and taste! My wife and I went to Floor & Decor very recently. We have previously been to this location to purchase some vinyl flooring to be used as a temporary flooring solution. For this reason, we were not looking to spend a lot, and we had accomplished our mission. On this most recent trip, we were able to get enough flooring for approximately half of our house at a very good price. The associate that assisted us, Daniel was very helpful. Worst Experience! after purchasing flooring material we found the same stuff at Euflooria for less cost. We hadn't picked up our material yet it was still on order the manager Hector Lopez refused to give us a refund or price compare! We called corp and they said we are entitled to a refund especially since we hadn't received our material they refused to talk to corp they wanted corp to send them an email stating we talked to them and it was okay to refund our money after waiting an hour in the store FINALLY they agreed to refund!! If they could have worked with us I wouldn't of felt the need to leave a negative review.
