When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

And i can say with no shadow of a doubt, working with Home Carpet One (Jonathan Carey in particular) comes out at the very top of my positive experience list. For background, I purchased 3 rooms of wool carpet, 2 custom-made large rugs and 3 flights of stair runners with landing carpet. Firstly, their work is unbelievable - Jonathan's guidance and knowledge was so helpful, and gets you your quote quickly and scheduled for install even faster. The installation team are easily the best I've worked with. They come prepared to do a completely custom job that's tailored exactly to your needs, right down to sewing on stair runner edging on site to make sure the colors work once the carpet is laid. They happily resized a rug (on site) for me once i realized I'd ordered it too large, and redelivered the product in 3 days. Today, they installed our stair runners (less than 2 weeks after i ordered them) and the whole way along they checked that i was happy with the look, and offered sage advice on lines and patterns that i never would have thought of. Honestly, don't waste your time going anywhere else - i wish i never bothered with the horrible salespeople i experienced over at the Mart! Great value, fabulous product, and truly excellent service. Some would not tell me the brand the flooring was. Some just did not know their products. It was all so frustrating. Then along came Charles. My knight in shiny armor. He is sincere, honest and truly cares about your needs. He lets you know if there is a delay or a problem. I felt that I was in good hands. He told me all I needed for the floor. The supplier he deals with is top notch. Then came delivery/installation. I was immediately was put at ease with the worker he sent. I wanted to keep him. He did a nice job installing the floor. As soon as there was a little dust or mess there he was with his broom and vacuum. I love my floor. I did not even have to get use to it. My old floor was dark and this one was quite lighter. I do not expect to have any problems now. If I do I have confidence that Charles and his crew would be right here. Carpeting will be done soon. My plan is to go with Charles again. Skip the fast talkers and go with Nationwide Floor and Windows.

I highly recommend. More specifically, the test of a true professional comes after the job is done.
