In November 2020 my wife and I decided to go with Floor Store after our refrigerator malfunctioned and flooded our kitchen. The initial contact with the salesperson was great and they had everything we were looking for. Unfortunately, the problems occurred once the floor installers showed up. I cannot put into words ones that will truly convey what the whole team at the Floor Store did for us. We were in the process of selling and buying a house, and the new house was in desperate need of new flooring. However, until our existing house sold we couldn't really commit to buying the new one and arranging for the new flooring. Once the two escrows closed the Floor Store (Frank and Arturo) jumped into action. We received keys at 2:00 on Monday 12/30, and Arturo met us at the house at 2:15 with his team. By five o'clock, all the carpet and tile was removed. By 5:00 on Tuesday, 1/31, most of the laminate floor was done. Our movers were scheduled for 1/3 with 1/1 being a holiday. From the start, both Frank and Arturo assured us that the project would be done for the movers. Arturo and his team worked on 1/1, and by the end of the day, 95% of the work was done, with just some baseboards needing to be installed and the final cleaning done. The whole project was completed by 11:00 o'clock on Thursday, 1/2. Everything was done perfectly-I have no complaints. As a side note, the property had a small "shed" that was blocking a walkway to the back yard and was mostly unusable. We asked Arturo if he could come back and remove it for us and of course, we would pay him. He said he could do it right then free of charge. " We tipped his guys!" I would use no other Company for my flooring and will definitely use Arturo for any other work (kitchen re-do, cabinet painting, inside and outside house painting etc. read more

My husband contacted Floor Store and asked about locating a laminate floor that the previous owner put in, in only a few places. Larry looked into it for us. The old product was discontinued but the new product is the same exact color but wider. He came out to give us his honest opinion about adding new to the old and to take measurements. We trusted and respected his thoughts and ideas and went forward with our floor project. His crew came out (Alex was awesome!) and tore out old tile and old laminate and added the new product to give our whole house a seamless look. They also took out old carpet and put in new for us. Overall, I recommend the Floor Store. Do lots of research on your own because once you connect with a salesperson there, they're basically your main contact and it can get hard to be in touch. I suppose I misunderstood that it's not the Floor Store that installs, they just sell the product and have a third party company install. The installers were good except they didn't spend time leveling the floor so our floating floors sound hallow since there is space underneath. Also, they didn't vary the planks so there are areas with a bunch of same planks. They must have total faith in their installers because no one from FS came and looked over the work. Pros & cons but mostly a good experience. (I suggest spending a little more money on better floors...don't go cheap because you'll regret it. Thickness & wear layer DO matter.) Update: I love my floors but I'm finding places where they didn't adhere the base boards to the walls. I'm needing to do that myself. Also, transitions are coming loose. I really suggest that the Floor Store rep comes to inspect every job AFTER it's complete. read more

We were looking for laminate flooring. We were only looking to purchase materials only without installation. Larry met with us and showed us where all the laminate floors were. What a great group of people! From working with Frank to choose the right flooring option to interacting with Abel and his team during the install, the experience was nothing short of perfect. First, Frank helped us pick out a quality product for our lifestyle and needs. He came out to our home in a matter of days and did all of the measurements himself. We met with him back at the store a few days later and finalized everything and we're "breaking ground" a couple days after that. Abel and his crew showed up promptly when they said they would and got right to work. He worked closely with me to make sure the job went smoothly. We always knew what was happening next. At one point Abel was unsure about the stability of a particular section of floor. Rather than make a decision on the fly, he called out another of the installers for a second opinion and it was decided that the subfloor needed to be strengthened before installing the laminate. I'm so glad we did because all of the creaks and moans from before are gone and the floor feels worlds more stable. The job was finished quickly, professionally, and with some of the best craftsmanship I've ever seen. Frank even came out at one point during the install to check on the progress and make sure I didn't have any questions. His knowledge and experience helped us find the right contractor to handle the whole restoration project. He was very knowledgeable in the different types of floors. Larry Nudleman in particular. Two years ago they installed laminate, tile, and carpet and this last month it was just carpet. In both cases they started and finished on time, left it clean, gave me great customer service, and quoted a competitive price. Part of why this place is great is because of their business model. Here's my observation. In this economy, the big warehouses have the competitive advantage for large home improvement projects. Ikea, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Granite Outlet. You get the benefit of their low prices and they rely on teams of installers who just do install work every day. They're super efficient. Now the problem with those other bulk places is that they tend to have poor customer service and low expertise. The person working the counter looks like they got hired accidentally or something. You're on your own, and good luck getting sage advice. Not so with Larry and The Floor Store. He's got years of experience doing this, and he will never steer you wrong. He took good care of me. Last year we remodeled our kitchen, dining room and living room floors. Our contractor suggested we use Jeremy at Floor Store at Trade Center. Jeremy helped us with our selection and explained different flooring selections as well as advise us of the differences between flooring, it's durability and water resistance (because we were putting in the kitchen as well). We decided to lay one type of flooring in all 3 areas. We had two subcontractors lay the floor in a day. Our contractor did the baseboards. So, it's been a year and the laminate has done very well holding up in the kitchen to spilled food, water and all the stuff that gets thrown off the counters. We chose a color that doesn't show dirt as much. We were very happy with the results. This year we contacted the Floor Store again to finish the bedrooms and closets. The subcontractor, came over and was ready to start work at 7am. Since we're in an HOA that has specific times for contractor work hours, we were chasing him out at 5pm. Dennis did an amazing job, asked questions when they arose about our choices, and was very neat and clean. He did the baseboards as well as the cut in for the sliding closet doors. He also moved the heavy furniture, all by himself! Truly amazing job and he was practically running the whole time.
