Had the flooring installed in October of 2022. Contacted the salesman in December of 2022 because in the cracks, they put so much of the top sealant material, it is off white in spots. He said someone would call me...they never did and I got busy and let them get away with a subpar install. There are lumps in many places and because the cracks are filled to different levels, washing it is a real chore because the water doesn't drain. I could have done a better job myself. read more

Horrible - BE WARNED! They sent an installer to our brand new home and the garage is ruined! The installer supposedly a relative who is incompetent. Sprayed Epoxy on my new garage walls in 30 different places. Ruined my new Driveway. Called them same day and of course got the same song & dance we will be right out. Of course right out to them is whenever they feel like it. So, I drive up and the same incompetent guy used the garage code and is on my private property snuck into my home and trying to clean his mess up. He said I know on new homes they have the same code. Seriously. So we contacted Floorguard and they said we will be out to check it out. Yeah right - they lied again we have missed 2 days of work- the owner is hiding and will not step up to the plate. we had our garage floor done in 2015 and originally we were more than happy with the results. However, a year ago we noticed large white spots on the floor. We were told that acetone would resolve the problem and it did until the floor got wet again and the spots reappeared. i contacted Floorguard today and was told to keep using acetone because discoloration is not covered under the warranty. I would say I love the floor. There are things about this as a process that could be better, but all in all the floor is great. Contractually, you need to know they will leave behind heavy bags of some stinky material. My garbage bin was loaded with them and if I were not physically capable, I wouldn't have been able to move the bin. I think a heads up regardless what the contract says would be a good policy. I was gone for a week and one bag and a box were left in my driveway I guess after they filled my barely moveable bin up (for a week). This is a great product. Job looks great, but there are pieces in the process that could be better. Oh, if you aren't home they will charge your credit card before you say ok on the final payment. I found that shocking given I talked to the office person about that very thing. Fortunately, I like the floor. 4 stars if for installer and finished job. read more

It's the 3rd garage they did for me and it's one of those things I just don't want to live without. Absolutely no exposed concrete. Easy clean up. Cost is about $4-$5/SF. This firm does a very nice job on garage floors. However, you should not count on service after the sale. This means their "lifetime warranty" is of questionable value. Buyers should just be aware. In summer 2018 Floorguard refinished my garage floor. It looked very nice. However, there was one minor finishing step that was not done as they had agreed. As a result of this oversight, I could not finish the adjacent area as planned (and as Floorguard had been well aware). They said they would take care of the issue. They made an appointment to do it about 10 days out. So far so good. But then, two days before my appointment, I was notified by Floorguard that they were just too busy now and they could not fix my problem for nearly two months! Huh? Without hiring another contractor to do Floorguard's finish-up, I was unable to complete my project in a reasonable timeframe. Once Floorguard has all the money for a job, customers are apparently relegated to the very bottom of their priority list. Personally, I do not like to do business with companies who treat their customers this way. read more

I used Floorguard a few years ago and was very pleased. When we decided to move, we thought we need Floorguard in our new place! Call and ask for our previous rep and they said he didn't work there anymore...gave us Jim. Easy sale for Jim because I literally just told him over phone the color, size, etc. Never met him since we hadn't closed yet. They took a 50% deposit. Never heard from them again. I had to call and confirm if they were coming on the day that we discussed 8 weeks prior, texted Jim...never heard back. The installer did a great job, however absolutely no feeling that they appreciated my repeat business and $6500 in 3 years. Nothing from Jim, nothing from Floorguard...except the charge to my CC. No communication what so ever. I had a new neighbor come down while the work being done He wanted to see what it looked like (saw the truck and always wanted it for his garage). Neighbor next day asked me if I'd recommend Floorguard and who did I deal with? The answer, no...there is nobody "I dealt with", nobody I'd recommend, in fact...I would recommend using a company that appreciates your business...which is not Floorguard. I can't imagine just charging $2500 to a person's CC with not anything emailed to the customer...maybe a thank you, a receipt, or how was the project for you!? I had to call them to even get a receipt The corporate office needs some training on how it is run. There are too many epoxy floor businnes out there with great reviews to spend your hard earned money with a company that doesn't appreciate it! read more

Flooguard is a horrible company. Their garage floor product is not durable and the company does NOT stand behind their work. We had a floor installed in 2008 and by 2009 it was bubbling up and cracking. We called the company, they looked at it and "fixed" it. With in 2 weeks, the same thing happened again...bubbles/cracks. We called again, and by the way, the office staff is horribly unfriendly. Then, they "fixed" again by cutting out the section on the garage floor...now there is a huge patch area that looks terrible. And, yet again in 2010, the floor is bubbling/cracking again. I doubt I will even bother to call them again... its a joke. For $2500.00, I expect service to extraordinary and for them to stand behind their work. DONT DO IT! read more

It took 3 applications for them to get the floor right. The first time they tried, we had bubbles all throughout the floor. In addition, our laundry room floor texture was horrible, as if someone had taken a rag and wiped over the entire floor before it was fully dry (turns out that is exactly what had happened!). It took many phone calls over several days for them to accept responsibility and send someone out to look at the floor. After the second application, the floor still had bubbles throughout. This time it was clear they hadn't used enough material to cover the entire floor. There were large patches where you could see the concrete floor. Again, many phone calls and emails later, they brushed it off, so I reached out to the president of the company. He also refused to accept responsibility for what happened. Finally, I convinced them to come out and redo the floor (but they only agreed if I would pay an additional $1000!!). The 3rd application finally reflects the product I originally expected. What a headache!!! This company has ZERO integrity! read more
