Phil Powell is the most patient man ever. He waited and waited and waited for over a year because I was so wishywashy about what I wanted. We kept samples for weeks (months?) at a time without any grumbling or any pressure. He even brought out different samples based on past samples we chose. The day before we were to sign he brought out 3 more choices and one of the ones he brought was 'it'. So he reworked the numbers without hesitation. I even called the night before we were to sign and asked if he'd come out one more time to see if we picked the right flooring. He said he would and then I called the next day and told him not to come. I was ready. This was for vinyl plank over a large area of our home. We also had 2 rooms to carpet. Throughout the whole process he was willing to give opinions on our choices based on wall colors, etc. He is the Flooring Angel. The other staff were just as helpful and patient. Thank you Amber for answering my excessive phone calls with prompt answers. The installers were just as professional and willing to answer any questions. I chose FW based on the great Yelp reviews...thank you yelp!!! A really great experience from the time I walked in their door through completion of our project. Amber was so sweet to work with! Very knowledgeable regarding what flooring would meet our needs best (vinyl plank!!). Josh came to measure-twice-after we decided to redo the bedrooms in addition to the main area, and was fantastic too! Excellent prices to boot!! And they have their own installers, which was important to us after a bad experience with somewhere else years ago. The installers worked so hard-we had a full two day project and had them remove the old flooring as well as installing the new. Each day they only took a short lunch break and really busted their butts. So very pleasant and courteous throughout the project. Added bonus-they move and replace the furniture as well as moving a pedestal sink and toilet (we had a plumber re-seat them after). All in all a top notch business start to finish that works super hard to make sure their customers are satisfied. Highly recommend!!!! read more

We had a flood on New Year's Day. So we needed to replace the carpet and they had the best price. Amber helped us find the carpet that we needed for our house. Leah came out on a Wednesday morning to measure, a few hours later we had a quote - we paid our half and the next day the carpet was installed. The installers showed up when they said they would- they worked fast and efficient , they cleaned up all their mess and moved our furniture. We just finished installing a new hardwood floor in all but one room of our home.I was close to letting a "big box" store sell me the floor. Super-friendly and easy to talk to sales people. No hard upsell on anything. Phil talked us thru our choices and once we made the decision we were on the schedule. Crew of 3 showed up on time even in the rain. I had only the one bedroom (280sqft) getting engineered floor and they were in and out in 3 hours. Only bad thing I can say is some trash and cigarette butts were left in the driveway. Other than that everything went well. I have used The Flooring Warehouse twice now for replacement of the flooring in different areas of my home. I plan to use them in the future for the rest of my carpet. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have also given me guidance when the flooring I wanted was not the best fit for my lifestyle. I was sold a floor that I was hesitant about and ended up hating Phil is a very pushy salesman and makes promises he can't keep. He promised if we were not happy with it, they would stand behind their product and make it right. I was told that they value a happy customer above all. Not true. Not only was he extremely rude, he never responded to my voice messages. Only emails, he didn't want to have a conversation, only close the deal and move on. Huge shout out to Flooring Warehouse in Cedar Park and Josh Irvine! They replaced the flooring in our entire house - approx. 2200 square feet. The project involved removing 11 year old builder grade tile, carpet and engineered wood that didn't hold up well to our dogs. My husband and I visited at least a dozen stores and had 5 measures and quotes. It took about 6 months to find the right company and another 3 months to decide on the right product. At the top of my list was finding the right person I could work with and who would bring my family through a major renovation. Pricing was important too because I only had one shot at this project. I knew when I met Josh that he was genuine and very easy to talk to. No sales pitch, yay! The bonus of finding Josh @ Flooring Warehouse was that the pricing was extremely competitive and very fair. I definitely felt like I spent my money wisely for this project. Josh's patience alone gets 5 stars; he never made me feel like I was an inconvenience or a bother during my many flooring type changes, questions, concerns. I decided on a 20x20 porcelain tile in all living and bath/laundry areas and a vinyl plank in the bedrooms, and I couldn't be happier!
