3rd party installers for RC Willey. Do not recommend. Caused over $3,000 worth of damage to my newly renovated home. Argued and claimed they didn't cause damage even though the installers were pointing it out to me. Got them on video and picture evidence. Their owner came out and couldn't fix what the installers screwed up. Seams are showing and they claim they can't fix it. Do not use this company. Go elsewhere for your flooring needs and installation. read more

They removed the old carpet and installed the new one in a short period of time. The work was done professionally and they vacuumed all of the loose fibers. Great experience -- skilled trades people that were quiet, professional and efficient. We purchased our new/replacement carpet from RC Willey -- a patterned weave of roughly 1100 square feet (4 bedrooms & closets, 2 of 4 closets were walk-ins). We were contacted by Judith at Floors by Aldaba two days prior to confirm our install appointment. Our crew (Rufino, Brian & Louis) arrived promptly at 8:30am and worked continuously until 5:30pm with only two short 5-minute breaks. The crew took extra care to remove old carpet, padding and excess glue before sweeping up. The crew did a fantastic job with cleanup and were accommodating when we asked if we could 'shop vac' up the fine dust that had settled behind our tacking strips). When I asked the crew whether I could cool the house to make them more comfortable, I was informed that they would prefer the temperature be warmer to facilitate the seaming and stretching processes (i.e., they checked their personal comfort to deliver a superior service). The crew was also careful to remove and replace their booties each time they left the home to retrieve more carpet -- note, they choose to cut the carpet in the driveway to reduce carpet pile debris in our home. As a final courtesy, the crew vacuumed all the rooms for any/all carpet pile debris to insure a clean, finished look. The carpet we chose has a tight, short loop, woven-rope look weave laid out in a chevron pattern. The crew paid close attention-to-detail to ensure any/all the seams lined up (both within the rooms, and between rooms & closets). The pattern was also uniformly straight/aligned along the perimeters of the room. Amazing work by skilled professionals. I purchased flooring and installation through Empire. Floors by Aldaba was called in to finish the install that the previous contractor flaked out on. (Due to several miscommunications I still do not know exactly who installed my upstairs flooring. That's a whole other story.) Unfortunately by the time Floors by Aldaba was called to the rescue I was pretty upset, angry, and disappointed in my experience with Empire. But Angie, at Floors by Aldaba was very patient, she returned my calls and built up trust that this was not a total disaster. As promised, contractors showed up at my house when they said they would and installed my vinyl plank flooring after removing all the tile and carpet. I also was very impressed with their workmanship and saw how excellent their work was compared to the first contractor. And they didn't leave my house a mess, they cleaned as they worked and were very respectful of my home! All I can say is thank you Floors by Aldaba!! Floors by Aldabra installed our carpets through RC Willey and absolutely ruined our newly renovated stair banister. They gashed in all 47 post where they were laying carpet and then proceeded to cover them up with paint that didn't match and let the unmatched paint run to where now re-sanding and hours of work are needed and cannot be fixed because of the huge holes they created. On top of that, they took it upon themselves to use a marker pen that didn't match on our bedroom furniture in marks that were there from a previous move. So they not only ruined our brand new stair case, they damaged our property and thought we would not notice. When they were finished we tried to tell them of all the marks and they left without care. read more

The two installers arrived early within the time window given for our Saturday installation. They immediately had us verify the correct carpet and padding being installed. The installers took up the old carpet, cleaned the floor thoroughly and put down the new padding and carpet quickly. The floors were swept and the new carpet vacuumed prior to them leaving.
