After Labor Day weekend in the Keys, we stopped into this brewery to escape the traffic for a bit and I'm so glad we did! The beer list was extensive and they have a nice outdoor area out back. We made it in time for "happy hour," which was $2 off each pint. I was surprised the brewery staff wasn't very chatty. I would have liked to learn more about their beers. I had the sun sessional session IPA and the hurricane hole red. My boyfriend had a honey hibiscus moldy and then the honey bottomed blonde. I like my beers a little hoppy with bold flavors and my boyfriend likes more of a wheat easy to drink beer. We were both pleased with our choices! I bought a 4-pack if the sun sessional session IPA to take home. We enjoyed sitting outside, sipping our beer in the shade of the trees. If we were local we would frequent this spot! The bathrooms weren't clean, but other than that no complaints! We'll be back!! read more

Overall quick service even though they were busy busy on a Friday night. Little disappointed they ran out of the sour passion fruit which everyone came for and wanted. Decent selection of beers to choose from. Out of my flight I really only liked one, which was the grapefruit one. read more

This place is excellent.... I'm giving it 5 stars despite the fact that it doesn't serve any food. The only thing it has to eat are bagged potato chips. (Bummer) Aside from that, this brewery has really good beer choices and the place is super nice. It has great service and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. The outdoor area is very nice to enjoy maybe a cigar or just hang out with friends. We had a variety of beers worth mentioning... the oatmeal stout is really good as it was the coffee stout. Really nice family friendly brewery. I love the style of the whole place. Very colorful open space. They have an amazing garden area with lots of outdoor seating. There are toys for the kids and some board games. Seating inside is very comfortable and they have a swing outside. They have a really nice amount of beers on tap, different styles and different flavors. We had two flights in order to try as many as possible. They were all pretty interesting and yummy. The vibe is really chill, authentic island feel! Super friendly staff and the regulars seemed really easy going as well. This place was by far my favorite on our trip to the keys. I ordered a flight and the beers were all delicious. We sat outside on a picnic table and listened to the live music Circus Mutt that was playing and enjoyed tacos from the taco truck. My friends and I LOVED THIS SPOT! Easy to park, they are taking Covid-19 precautions to the T! Beer selection is very local and you can only find them in Monoroe County. Super clean establishment, employees are extremely nice and helpful. They allow you to taste their beers before purchasing the one you'd like. My favorite was the Iguana Bait! They also have merchandise with such vivid colors, too cute. You must wear your mask at all times except while sitting down in their outdoor patio. Location is absolutely beautiful, super chill vibes could spend the whole day drinking great beer but maybe when the weather is not as hot as today. Wow it felt like a sauna in their patio! My BH had the Iguana Bait and I had the Spearfish Amber Ale. The service was awesome and friendly. They had a food truck parked on the side, in case you get a little hungry. **VISITED DURING COVID** This place caught our eye on the way back to miami. We were stuck in traffic and saw this cute little purple building and decided to park up and have a couple beers while we left traffic die down. You must wear your mask while entering and walking around the premises unless you are sitting at a table drinking. If you get a sample you must step outside where you can dip your mask down real quick to try it. The inside of the building is very small almost like a souvenir shop. They have shirts and keychains and all sorts of other stuff to buy. All the tables to sit at are all outside. They do not serve food but have a food truck parked outside if you want to have some tacos. All the beers I tried were delicious but I went with the honey bottom blonde; I even bought some beers to take home! read more

The flights were delicious, A lot of variety. Many of our local breweries where we live, add a description after each beer so that they don't have to describe each beer EVERY time!!! There was 2 beer- tenders and male and female. More involved with other customers than greeting us, or even a simple "I'll be right with you". We just watched what someone else was doing and got a flight because the pens and paper were in front. The man didn't given serve me and instead drink his beer in front of us while pouring the female(beer-tender)a beer. Then was complaining about people not tipping. 1 are you working or not ? 2 if so this is customer service that is how you get tips based on service if he would of been a cool bubbly person it would radiate naturally. This ridiculously good brewery on Islamorada is a MUST for Hop Heads visiting the Florida Keys -- as well as for just about anyone else. From their delicious beer to the fun tropical setting, this is one of the best breweries I've visited anywhere -- I only wish there was another location in the Lower Keys. We made two visits to their taproom on our recent vacation, and loved their diverse selection of tasty brews, from the hoppy Kritter IPA and refreshing Bale Beach Pale Ale, to the unforgettably named (and delicious!) Smelly Butt Pineapple IPA. The beer garden is spacious and well-shaded from the Florida sun, with lots of great spots to enjoy a few beers and some great music when a band is playing. Food trucks are onsite daily, and we enjoyed an terrific lunch of tacos and quesadillas from Tacos Jalisco during one of our visits. There's also a modest selection of wines on tap for guests who want something other than cold, delicious beer. The taproom itself has fairly limited seating, so space may get tight if you drop by in bad weather. Parking is also pretty sparse, with just a few street spaces within walking distance. But a short hunt for a space is well worth it for a visit to this outstanding brewery. It was one of our favorite stops in the Keys, and we'll definitely be back whenever we're in Islamorada! read more

We swung by here to grab a quick drink during their October festival. They had food trucks, a great live band and every face had a smile on. I got a flight so I could try several. They were so busy I told the bartender to just give me her favorites and they did not disappoint. We found a great spot under the umbrellas to chill out and enjoy. A great local Keys brewery! Stopping in on our way down to Key West from Miami, we decided to visit this cute local brewery and put our feet up for a little while with a flight of beers! We went with the Hurricane Hole Irish Red, Resistant Strain Double Hibiscus Kolsch, Honey Bottomed Blonde, Belgian Iguana, and the Dry Hopped Local Grass Lemongrass Saison. All we really good and would have been perfect out in the biergarten, but it was pretty warm that afternoon. The inside decor is cute though, with lots of bright tie-dye colors and hop lamps. Ok. They can't help that we're from Colorado. Premiere beer is our thang. That said the atmosphere here is amazing. Fantastic patio and I mean fantastic patio. The talent they had 12/1 was perfect. We didn't stay long because Sally - the overly enthusiastic corn ball cheerleader - sort of killed the vibe for me. But I digress. I'm not sure what the beer tenders could have done but apparently Sally "just does this." Poor thing. The beer was good. The Smelly Butt drank well without much (to me) hops bite. No sense of the pineapple and it drank heavier than expected. It was good enough. The oatmeal stout was lackluster. So stop in if you're a beer fan. Another great spot on Islamorada! The real seller to this spot is their amazing backyard oasis. It's this jungle hideaway that's what backyard dreams are made of. Such a cool spot to spend an evening at the keys. The vibe here was great - no overbearing sales on IPAs or asking well, if you like this then drink this. The bartender had an open, try whatever you'd like feel to him and made us feel at home. I tried a few different beers but iguana bait was my favorite. The beer here was okay. The ambiance is really fun. I got a flight and liked one out of 5. The one star comes from the mouse infestation at this place. We were sitting outside and saw at least 20 mice.... Which means they are everywhere in and out of there. I told the bartender and he said it was part of island life. I think it's a health code violation and can't imagine the beer is free from all mice droppings and nastiness. Wouldn't recommend or return. read more
