BEWARE! They are the worst. Brought my vehicle in due to a claim. 6 times I went to pick up the vehicle and each time, I found issues with their work. I also noticed every single customer that came in while I was there on6 different occasions, was compelling about something that had been done wrong or something that the shop failed to do correctly. I new this was a bad sign, but I was already committed. My windshield was left off the vehicle while in their shop, you can only imagine, all the dust from sanding Bondo was all in side a 2024 vehicle and in the AC vents, roof liner, every crack and crevice. Totally unacceptable. When brought to their attention, they said that they are not detailers and can't clean it properly and to request that my insurance cover a professional detail. ($450 later). We are noticing issues with the paint. The paint thickness is 1/5 of what the factory paint is on the rest of the car. After speaking with the owner "Larry", I quickly realize I am dealing with an incompetent business owner who is outsourcing some of the business and isn't wanting to take full responsibility. If you have options..... or your insurance company is requesting the services of NU-FINISH, you should look for someone else. These people are a JOKE! I will be trading in my vehicle on a new one to avoid dealing with future paint issues and trying to deal with these derelicts. read more

My experience with NuFinsh was horrible. Communication was bad service was bad. I received my vehicle back and it was a total loss after three months of them having it $9330 worth of repairs and my thousand dollar deductible. My car is now non-drivable before the accident and even after the accident it was drivable, three hours at the receive my vehicle from NuFinsh my vehicle stopped running I would never recommend them. They only work with people they know or people with a lot of money. the service was not well at all. Horrible communication from start to finish. I regret leave my vehicle with them. Once I receive my vehicle back, it was smoking out. The tailpipe in the engine was shaking. read more

All I ask is for companies to be upfront about what's going on. No one ever initiated contact with me on the status of my vehicle but rather, I had to call in order to find out if and when I would be able to pick up my vehicle. I was initially told 5 to 7 days. On the seventh Day I still had not heard from anyone so I called in. They then informed me that it would be another 3 days. On the third day, I called in to find out it would be ready next week. I understand that it is not a perfect business and things can come up but communication would help significantly to your customers. Initial estimate of 5-7 days and $1900 turned out to be12 days and greater than $3000. Satisfied with the end product just need to improve the process. read more

I was recommended by this place from State Farm as a "certified autobody shop" because I needed some work done from a recent hit and run on my vehicle. I called to schedule an appointment to have an estimate done on some other work I needed on the car prior to the accident. I was told to come in anytime. All seemed well until I actually showed up. When I walked in the receptionist was friendly but seemed distracted and uninterested in my business, but the gentlemen in the office nearest to her overheard me talking to her and remembered my story on the phone. Firstly, I was not greeted with his name nor was I offered a handshake which most people are accustomed to when entering a professional business and meeting new potential clients. So, as I write this review, I don't even know the service reps name! I'm a young looking female and I believe right off the bat I wasn't taken seriously. Walking immediately outside to the car to show him how I needed a repaint on the hood and front bumper on my Red car, within 5 seconds of looking at the car he blurted out how it would be "at LEAST $1,500 dollars, and if that's too much we can just start off by painting just your hood for $600-700 dollars and you can do the other pieces later". So that way I was going to be driving around with a brand-new shinny hood and my front bumper still have pealing clear coat? I think not. So I kindly told him how State Farm had given me a few other places I could use and how I had already been to another place and they had only quoted me $700 TOTAL for 3 pieces to be repainted on my car (hood-front bumper- left side panel) and I asked why was there's so much cheaper and they included a lifetime paint warranty? He Immediately processed to get upset and say "that impossible to do it for that price, what shop offered that? tell me their name! Red paint is $2,000 a gallon to buy compared to other colors so its impossible to do it for that price. GOOD LUCK to that, you'll have to have it repainted again" Before I even had a change to still ask more questions on everything he just said, he processed to WALK AWAY from me back into the office without a goodbye or even a chance to answer him. I looked so shocked and puzzled by that, that I yelled "okay thank you...?" And he just said without even looking back "Good luck". I am disgusted by how I was treated by this gentleman. From the beginning of the interaction to the end, I was not treated to even decent respect. My accident was going to give them business of at least $2,000-3,000 dollars plus the extra paint job and that's how I get treated by asking a simple question on why are your prices so much higher? I was referred to Nu Finish by Brandon Honda for an estimate on my CRV after being rear-ended by a texter. I had already received a few estimates and one repair shop took the time to look under my car and lift the rear door bringing to my attention the damage surrounding the cargo area where the spare tire sits. I told the guy at NF about the damage to this area. Did he even attempt to open the rear door? NO! He was obviously completely uninterested in repairing my vehicle or providing an accurate estimate. No worries NF......I won't be back and will be sure I share my experience! read more

So about a week ago I hit a cement block and put a huge gash in the side of my car. I took it to several places to get estimates and these guys were honest and incredibly reasonable. I heard they were a bit on the pricey side but they did great work. They gave me the lowest estimates out of the five places I went to. I went to carsmetics in Brandon first and they told me the damage couldn't be fixed without replacing the skin. I brought my car to nu finish and his inspection of my car went incredibly fast. He told me he knows how to do the work himself and there was no way I'd have to replace the skin at all. All the other places told me it would take them at least 5 days to fix it. Nu finish said 2, 3 days max. They called on the second day to tell me my car was finished but wanted to have extra time to finish cleaning it. I picked my car up this afternoon and it's beautiful AND clean! I am so thankful and relieved to have it taken care of by such a great team. read more

I feel compelled to write this review of Florida Nu Finish Collision to save others of the hassles this business practices. This place reeks of incompetence... Let me say that again... This place REEKS OF INCOMPETENCE, from the top down. A two week repair turned into almost 2 months. For starters, DO NOT expect any proactive communications from this facility. The front office will tell you time and again they will call you right back or tomorrow. Never happened... NOT ONCE in the nearly two months. When I questioned why it was taking so long, I was talked down to by the shop manager who said "If it takes two months it takes two months.... if it takes four months, it takes four months!" Really? That is the way you talk to your customers? On the day I picked up my vehicle, I had to point out hanging pieces of interior trim, and a dirty greasy headliner; they took it back and the proceeded to only clean only half of it..? Later I found screws and clips in the vehicle. Additionally, I had to reinstall the antenna. It became quite apparent as I drove the vehicle home that it was not test driven. The steering wheel was not centered and the truck shook beyond 70 MPH. This was probably because the left side tires were inflated to 45 PSI while the right side tires were inflated to 34 PSI... As I looked around the cabin I could see they took very little care while repairing the vehicle as interior trim was now marred, additionally I now have a scratch on the tonneau cover. This is a vehicle that I detailed every two weeks. The overall paint job was also inferior with dust particles showing throughout the hood. I could go on but I believe you get my point... One would think that the least they could do is wash the truck but that must have been just too much to expect from this company. Do your homework and check the reviews... Why? My repair took longer than expected but they kept me updated along the way and wanted to compensate for the longer wait. Avoid the owner Larry at all costs. The man has no respect and cannot give a proper explanation on the price quote without getting frustrated and angry when asked questions. Was handed the price quote while he is talking on the phone with someone else and when I'm asking questions he's still in a rush to get back to his call. Poor customer service gives no reason to continue with you to get my car fixed. They have provided service to me multiple times in the past and I dealt with Mike and he does a great job in communicating. Larry should clearly take some tips from him on how to deal with future customers. If you must go ask for Mike. However, who wants to give a place business when the owner has no respect. If I could leave no stars, I would have! Brandon Hyundai took my 14 Genesis Coupe to them in 2014 with about 4 thousand miles on it to replace a broken rear bumper clip. Little did I know, until it was later involved in an accident, that all they did was super glue it and put a screw through the stripped clip holder, when the bumper was in fact actually BROKEN. My repair shop that did the work for the accident has documented the incident with photos. I'll never use them again, even though I had no choice to use them the first time. I should also add that this process took a week to complete. AVOID THIS DUMP!!!!! read more

They have horrible work flow management and time estimation. Don't take cars if you can't complete the work in the time given. I had a 10" strip of rust repaired on my roof/windshield joint in order to replace my broken windshield. I was paying out of pocket for the repairs to include rental car. I will say, Allie, who handles the front office, is very pleasant and nice on the phone. However, I find it dissatisfying that they don't call to tell you your job is running behind. My car was supposed to be completed by end of day on a Friday and it wasn't (which I had to call and ask about at 3pm on Friday) -- which meant extra days of paying for a rental. I've had work done at national places where you receive text updates daily on the progress on your vehicle. Their attitude is that they'll fix it when they get to it and call you when it is ready. I asked the owner for a small adjustment on my repair. He was rude, argumentative and generally had an "F you" attitude. I work in customer service and process refunds daily for customer experiences that were sub par. He simply refused to even acknowledge any wrong doing or failed communication. It took over 5 days to do 11 hours of work. I will say the job quality was fine and don't seem to have any issue with the repair (the only reason I didn't give them 1 star). They need to take a look at their workflow management and customer communication. read more

We took our Prius to NuFinsh following an accident in February this year. The front bumper had completely fallen off and there was clearly some internal damage, but we were unsure of the extent. NuFinish initially gave us an estimate of $4800 total to fix everything with an estimated finish date of March 8. $4800 is better than buying a new car, and we were paying out of pocket, so we agreed, only to receive a revised estimate two days later that the total had jumped to $7000. We thought this was still better than buying another car, so we agreed. We checked in a few days before March 8 to get a progress update, to which NuFinish said that they needed another week, but they felt confident about the car being ready the next Friday. We called again on Thursday the 14th and checked on the progress, to which they said they need still another week. We were getting a bit frustrated at this point, so we decided to visit the car in person. The car looked much the same as it did the day of the accident and covered in pollen. NuFunish had told us that they had finished installing a section and aligning the frame of the car, but during our visit, we observed that the frame was bent and was clearly the old frame. We asked about a time estimate and were told that next week would be a reasonable estimate. Multiple times we asked if they had all the parts they need, and they said 'yes'. We kept getting strung along with the "one more week" line until we got a call from NuFinish saying that the headlights they originally obtained for the car were an incorrect fit. They needed to purchase brand new headlights from the dealership, which increased our cost to over $8300. We were told other parts were needed as well. The car ended up being ready on April 9, two months after the accident. (Our out-the-door price ended up being just under $8000 because they said they were able to "cut down some of the labor costs"). We were told that all parts replaced were warranted for as long as we own the car. When we picked up the car, we were only able to drive about a half a mile down the street before a warning light came on. It was a red triangle with an exclamation point in the center. We immediately took the car back to NuFinish thinking they would take care of it. We were told to take it to where we normally get service. We took the car to the dealership. We called NuFinish with the initial diagnosis and they said the cost of the repair was on us and not something they were responsible for. After a day of inspecting and adjusting, the technician diagnosed the car with a pinched coolant wire. $351 later and the car was fixed. Part of the repair at NuFinish was replacing the radiator so this bad wire was in scope of their repair. After paying $8K for repair, the expectation is that we receive a working vehicle. NuFinish said they test drove the car, but a Prius requires two drive cycles before a code presents itself on the dashboard. Undoubtedly this is not the first Prius that NuFinish repaired and they should have known that. The fact they did not own up to "making it right" is troublesome especially given the run around for many weeks. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a company. I went here because Brandon Honda recommended them as they are a certified Honda facility. Although the job was finally done correctly (I think), the lack of professionalism is appalling. I scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday knowing they would need to keep my car overnight. I never received a call on Thursday and when I called, they told me they needed it for one more day, no worries. I would rather wait and have the job done although an update would have been nice. On Friday, at 4;15, again, no call. Upon calling they said it still wasn't done as it needed the "painted" pinstripe added and the guy wasn't available but I could get it and bring it back another day. Again, I told the secretary, I would rather just pick it up when the job was complete as it is more of an inconvenience to keep going back and forth. Apparently they realized it was not painted, but a tape pin stripe so I was good to go pick the car up since it could be done quickly. Not only was it not done when I got there, but there was a drip of paint on the passenger door that wasn't even part of the job, there was paint on my window and I probably would have gotten arrested for a DUI because the fumes in the car were so potent (obviously it had literally just been painted). The best part was the dent on the rear wheel well that was most certainly NOT THERE prior....on my brand new 2017 CRV that only went in because of a scratch on the door. In hindsight I should have just walked out and told them to call me when it was completely ready. Instead, I paid for the job which was not done (this is policy according to the manager) with a written agreement with the things they needed to fix. I truly feel they rushed the job at the end of the day to get the payment which makes me doubt the quality of the job. I guess only time will tell at this point if they did a good job or not. I brought the car in the next week and again, no call. I had to call to see if it was ready at 4:15. Thankfully, everything seemed up to par and the written "to do" list was completed but the lack of professionalism and communication earns this place 1 for me and I WILL NOT BE BACK!!! read more

If you used them for insurance repair, they do great work on my daughter's car,but was very very slow. I went back to get the hood and top of my truck painted, they quoted $600.00 which I thought was very high, but they guaranteed their work. i also asked them to adjust the front bumper which would cost a$100.00. seven work days went by, the eighth day I get a call saying it would cost me $200.00 dollars more than they thought. they couldn't explain in a language I understood so I said no, return my truck. the hood was off, sanded and ready to paint. they insisted on finishing the job so the could get what I had agreed on. long story short, they did a crappy job, ruined the leather cover that covered the bed and never adjusted the bumper. I took it back to them a few weeks later because the paint was so messed up. the kept it a day, did nothing for the paint and I had another dent on the fender. when I went to upper manger, he said they would do the job over, but I was afraid to leave my vehicle them again. if its not an insurance claim.DON'T USED THEM. read more
