Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the evening. From the moment we sat down, the service went downhill--and kept getting worse. We ordered waters and drinks, and it took approximately 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. During that time, we repeatedly tried to get our server's attention because we wanted to place our dinner order, but he was nowhere to be found or simply wasn't paying attention to our table. When we finally managed to get him over, he began taking our entrée orders. After taking my female friend's order first and then taking the rest of ours, he turned back to her and asked what she wanted. She had to remind him, "I already told you." He had literally just taken her order. At that point, we started becoming seriously concerned about how the evening was going to go. For roughly the next 20 minutes, we couldn't even get our waters refilled despite repeatedly trying to flag him down. Eventually, we stopped another server and asked for water and requested that a manager come to the table. When the manager arrived, we explained that our server had been extremely inattentive. We even asked whether he was new because it seemed like he might need additional training. The manager agreed to switch our server. The new server was definitely better, but then we discovered the most unbelievable part of the evening. About 45 minutes after we originally sat down, with still no food arriving, we asked our new server whether our original server had actually entered our order. He told us NO. Apparently, the first server had simply handed him the handwritten order, and our new server had only just entered it into the system. We were absolutely furious. The new server apologized and said he would expedite everything. Eventually, the food started arriving--only to discover that one person's entrée was completely missing. When the server checked, that order apparently hadn't even been written down or recorded by the original server. At that point, the entire experience had become almost comical. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the disastrous service. My Dorado fish had so many bones that it was difficult to enjoy, and others at our table felt their meals were nothing special. Considering the prices, there are far too many excellent restaurants in the West Palm Beach area where both the food and service are substantially better. Then there was the restroom situation, which compounded an already terrible experience. For a restaurant this large and busy, we were surprised to find what appeared to be only two restrooms. Even worse, our female friend came back and told us that the toilet in the restroom she used didn't even have a toilet seat, and there was NO SOAP available for washing her hands. The lack of soap in a restaurant restroom is particularly concerning from a sanitation standpoint. It immediately made us wonder: if there is no soap available in the restroom, how are employees who use that restroom properly washing their hands before returning to serve food and drinks? Regardless of the explanation, a busy restaurant--especially one charging these prices--should be ensuring its restrooms are properly maintained and stocked with something as basic as hand soap. Then came the final frustration: when it was time to pay, we were told management would not allow us to split the check, even though we weren't some enormous party. "Management only allows one check per table", said the server. After everything that had already gone wrong, that felt like one final inconvenience piled onto an already awful experience. I now understand why there are so many reviews complaining about the service here. An attractive atmosphere cannot compensate for inattentive service, forgotten orders, nearly an hour before the kitchen even receives your order, a missing entrée, empty water glasses, poorly maintained restrooms, no soap for handwashing, and food that doesn't justify the price. This was easily the worst restaurant service experience I've had in West Palm Beach to date. For the prices Kyma charges, customers should expect dramatically better service, attention to detail, food quality, and basic restroom sanitation. We will not be back!

Great background music and the service is top notch. The only slight disappointment was the inability to walk the docks and experience the Mega yachts. That is quite understandable as the owners of those category of yachts want their privacy and especially security. Now to the food! We had brunch. The eggs with Wagu steak. It was fabulous. I was so caught up in the total experience , i neglected to take pics of the food which is very unusual for me. I plan to return for dinner to experience the ambiance and vibe in the evening.
