Great food, great service. Quick and inexpensive for the most part (and a military discount). My favorite for lunch is their club sando. Unfortunately I forget the name of it, but it has toasted bread, turkey, ham, avocado, and bacon. Their beer-battered fries are awesome, and their ranch goes great with both the fries and dipping the sandwich in. =) For dinner, I always, always, ALWAYS get their rueben. Utterly fantastic, the best rueben I've ever had! I heard from a friend that it's different because they'll marinate the meat in the sauce, rather than just make the sandwich and poor the sauce on right before serving. I don't know if this is true, but it certainly tastes like it is, so I'll just go with it. Sometimes the sando is a bit light on the sauce, so I'll order a little side cup of it for good measure, just in case. If you're ordering to go, and you like sides of ranch, count how much you have before you leave and ask the waitress for more if need some ... the bartenders are a little stingy, imo (ie: 1 or 2 ranch for 2 meals w/ fries and a large appetizer.) The atmosphere is superb, the waitresses are always friendly and quick, plenty of TVs for sports, and all the locations have pool, darts, some video games, and a jukebox. Oh, and a great selection of beer ... I love that they have Blue Moon! Overall, I love this place, it's hard to turn down when suggested or invited. read more

Flowing Tide Pub 3 - Look at this - Sports Bars Near Me - Reno, Nevada

Decided to check out the local fare and found myself and a pretty good place. There was no hostess so I seated myself and was promptly served with menu and drink. I ordered the BBQ burger and fries. It was really good. I was afraid of the trend toward frozen burger patties and luckily they aren't using them yet or are good enough at making them have flavor. The fries were seasoned and yummy. The atmosphere was typical sports bar, but the service was perfect. The waitresses seemed to really try to make sure everyone had what they needed and each of them asked me how I was when they walked by at least once. Would definitely recommend to people looking for a good burger and a decent selection of beers. They also have a decent variety of food to choose from outside of burgers, so those looking for something more will be pleased too. read more

One of my favorite places to go hang out with my brother. Most of the time we go it's not terribly busy, which is cool when we just want to relax. The waitress here remembers us from our multiple visits. That's probably one of the best things about this individual pub: the wait staff knows who we are. In fact, she's actually been able to suggest drinks for my brother pretty well and so far she's been spot on with every suggestion. The food is delicious. I like getting the chicken wings here- something that I don't usually order anywhere else. I definitely have to recommend the mixed sauce, which has a nice sweet bbq sauce with a hint of spiciness. We are from out of town. We looked up sports bars and this one came up. We were expecting a sports bar...big tvs, sounds of the biggest game playing with the sound on, etc. The tvs were small, so it was hard to watch if you were not close to one. It was an odd set up for sure. Music was blaring, albeit good music, but I would have liked to hear the game. The service was ok. There were some issues but they were resolved. Ok, the Flowing Tide has the best Beer Battered French Fries possibly in the world. I usually order the Tide Burger on potato bun with ranch for dipping and they are always juicy and amazing. You can sit at a spacious booth but I recommend you sit at the bar, Lori the bartender will always treat you right. Cheers! read more

What a great place this is, being from out of town and a bit late I was able to walk in and made to feel right at home the server, serena was awsome. F&T Longley is an outstanding example of what a pub should be like . Upon walking through the front door you'll be greeted with a friendly hello , fast friendly service , consistently good food and a guaranteed good time . The staff is wonderful , they all have great attitudes , they are very friendly and Johnny on the spot with their service . I've been to other Flowing Tide locations but I've never been to this one before. My friend and I came here one day for drinks and food and I had a very good experience here. It's not a large place, but there was enough room in there to sit comfortably. If your go during the happy hour you can get fairly good prices on drinks. I can't remember if prices are different for food, but I remember that they prices were decent. I ordered the chicken tender meal and I was pleased with the quality and amount of food I received. The meal tasted great. The service was great as well. Our hostess greeted us and seated us promptly. She also kept checking on us to see if we were doing well. She had to leave later, but had a host meet us to let us know he would be helping us out. He too was a good host and was prompt with his service. Both of the hosts were friendly, definitely helped out making the experience enjoyable. I enjoyed eating and drinking at this destination and would be happy to go back for more. read more

I usually go in for happy hour with various people and we always get the best service anyone could ask for. The staff here is remarkable, the deals are fantastic, and the vibe is always enjoyable. This has become my favorite place to unwind at the end of a hard day (or sometimes in the middle of a hard day when it's at that point). Can't remember ever walking out of here without a smile. Fish and Chips Alert. Flowing Tide on Longley Lane at Mira Loma. . Best we have had in a long.. long time. Stopped by on our way home from running errands. Got 2 orders. Each order has 4 big pieces of true cod, great fries, really decent coleslaw. (not watery and not over mayonnaised) We ordered them for take out. Our wait person asked if we wanted malt vinegar. Nice touch.. cause we did. Down note.. The tartar sauce was more like ranch dressing.. but it wasn't bad and like most pub food everything is over salted. Our thanks to Reno foodies for the tip! This place in my opinion has THE BEST fries in town! The service is awesome and the people are fun. The people serving me were genuinly polite and not like they hated to be there. Fun atmosphere with the "I feel like I'm in a huge submarine" look to it...with huge TV's to boot! My favorite there is the Italian Chichen Parmesean Melt with their awesome Fish and Chips in second, and the calamari strips are good too! read more

The Flowing Tide on Longley is a solid restaurant. There's not a lot about this place that makes it stand out, one way or the other. The service isn't great, nor is it bad. The prices are fair (however if you use the Valpak 2-for-1 it's a good deal). The food is typical bar food and consistently good....with the exception of the french fries which are some of the best in Reno! It's a lot like Cheers, you always know what you are going to get, but sometimes that's good when it comes to restaurants. It's off the beaten path (in sort of a business park) which tends to make it great for lunch as you can get in and out quickly. I would recommend trying it out if you live in the area, but I wouldn't drive across town for it. read more

The food is what you would expect from a Pub so no big surprises or any certain food that will blow your mind. I have been many times and enjoy the Reuben. I also like the steak sandwich with a horseradish aioli which gives the sandwich a nice flavor. I am a sucker for Guiness and the one they have on tap is good. They also have decent prices on beer and a great deal on appitizers for happy hour. Overall this is a good spot to hang out with your friends for very little money if you plan around happy hour. read more
