Carla was the perfect reintroduction to luxurious self care and my skin really needed a boost! I've felt like facial massage has become a lost art lately, and often times estheticians are so focused on gadgets/tools/lights/etc that the soothing benefits of manual facial massage have fallen by the wayside. I was so so pleased when Carla give me a wonderful face/neck/shoulder massage while under the LightStim. It felt wonderful and it gave the impression that she cared about her clients relaxation in addition to results. So when it was time for the mask, I hoped she would continue that level of warmth and she did. She did a hand/arm massage while I masked, and that was so nice too. I've had so many technicians either do their dishes during that time or leave the room completely and I appreciated her care for the full treatment. Her products were all great quality, facility was clean, I was offered water and never felt rushed. It genuinely feels like Carla cares for her clients, and sadly I think that's not always the case (especially in LA). I left feeling relaxed and refreshed and had a healthy glow. Thanks Carla! It's tucked away off the street a little so it was very nice and quiet inside Lulur Spa! Only negative is parking can be a little tricky in the area, it's right on the busy part of Robertson (but near a bunch of the Vanderpump Rules landmarks if you're a fan!) so give yourself extra time for parking.

I have been seeing Carla regularly (1x/month) for over 5 years now...which should attest to how…read moreamazing she really is! Went in originally because I was suffering from hormonal/cystic breakouts due to PCOS. Never had acne my entire life, then this hit me in my late 20's. Part of my plan to fix the problem included regular deep cleaning facials (along with better diet/exercise/supplements/etc) During the first year, Carla noticeably decreased cystic breakouts overall, along with the scarring marks I had along my jawline/cheeks (caused by those breakouts). She put me on a new facial regime using iS Clinical products - which I continue to adhere to religiously to this day. Basically, she helped my skin recover from a traumatic 2 years of hormonal acne. Today, I RARELY breakout. I can't even remember the last cystic blemish I've had - it's that seldom. That said, I still see Carla monthly to maintain my glow and give my face a nice deep clean :) Carla is amazing at what she does. And I'm positive that since I'm a regular, she gives me a bunch of little extra freebies every time I see her for my monthly facial service. I've come to know her well as a friend too, and genuinely love this woman! BEST OF ALL - she is SUPER DOG FRIENDLY (has 2 of her own)...my dog comes in with me for all my services, right up on the spa bed :)

I am not one who bothers to write reviews, BUT, Sophia certainly warrants a glowing one! I have…read morebeen going for regular facials for decades now, and once you find a facial therapist who understands your needs, you stick to them no matter what. So, when my longtime therapist retired, I was left with the daunting task of finding a new one, hopefully near my residence. The only problem with this project is you have to risk trying out the new therapist before you know for sure, and the damage they might cause (to your face and pocket) is yours to deal with. So reviews became a critical entry barrier. Sophia made it to the very short shortlist. And right from her professional online presence to ease of contact-ability to speed of responding to enquries and confirming/reminders for upcoming trial appointments...all the way to the actual consultation/trial facial which was flawlessly excuted, she proved she was a rarity in Singapore. No hardsell, true passion for her craft, and genuine interest in building a long relationship with clients who are entrusting her with not just their face, but also their confidence. She put in the work in her little cosy basement shop in Siglap Centre, and let the rest speak for itself. Hands down the best facial therapist in Singapore! Now, selfishly, just need to make sure she doesn't retire anytime soon...

I looked online for so long trying to…read morefigure out how to fix these stubborn black heads I've had for years that were under my skin. I found Nik's Skin LA & sent her some pictures of my skin to see if she could fix the problem. She knew exactly what to do & if anything got excited cause she knew the results would be beneficial! Which they were! I saw results as soon as I finished with her. After 3 days all of my black heads were cleared out & my skin was back to being dewy & completely clear. She gave me free goodies to try back home (which I always end up falling in love with). I love how she doesn't try the same process with everyone, she takes the time to analyze & see what would work best for YOU. The experience with Nik is SO relaxing and healing. She's funny, caring, and very professional. You can definitely tell she's done her research & knows what to do. - Not to mention how perfect & dewy her face is. I love how the experience & atmosphere is very Zen with positive energies all around. She doesn't only heal from the outside but explains how important it is to heal from the inside. She suggested vitamins, habits, diet, & Chlorophyll (life changing). She knew what oils were bad & good for my type of skin. She explained why certain products wouldn't work and what products will target a certain problem I specifically had. She takes the time to analyze you & explains her process as she goes. I love that she will teach you instead of having you depend on only her knowing the answers for your face. Once I had finished my facial, a week after, Nik followed up with me to ask for pictures as a result on how I was doing with the new products she suggested. She gave me more advice to continue on my own & help pick a regimen that best fits me. Best part is she will work with my budget on the products I need. I DON'T TRUST ANYONE WITH MY FACE BUT NIK! So I will definitely be coming back frequently for all the other services she offers as well
