I have been seeing Madison for lash extensions for over a year. After talking about the look I like and what I wanted she took all the info and gave me exactly what I was looking for! My eyes looked more open and I didn't have to wear mascara or experience raccoon eyes the entire time I had them! The lash extensions were the perfect length for my smaller eyes and looked so full and luxurious, yet natural and beautiful. So so happy! She educated me about how each lash extension is attached to one of my lashes so they would shed naturally and not cause any damage. I did fills for at least 6 months consistently with no damage. When I took break from the extensions Madison told me about Grande Lash. This stuff grows my natural lashes LONGER with no side effects! I have to wear mascara again to bulk the up, but the stuff works! Madison has always been open and honest about what she is doing and why and easy to get an appointment with. I am pretty bummed this place wasn't better. I had booked the 1.5hr transformation facial expecting to have a totally relaxing and skin "worshiping" afternoon but I feel totally ripped off. The girl tried to reschedule the appointment (to the following week!) an hour before and I told her I needed the facial because of an upcoming event. She pushed the appointment half an hour (no big deal) and when I got there she was explaining how she had to drive all the way from Malibu to get her son/husband/some issue just to do my facial then drive all the way back to deal with more life things. I started out the session feeling sorry for needing the appointment.. or for her busy day ... not sure, but it wasn't the warmest welcome. When I laid down, she told me I should just do a maintenance facial as opposed to their advertised "transformation" which I had booked. It sounded like she was worried about my skin needing more downtime for my event so I said of course, whatever she felt. Later I realized that she just wanted to be out of there within the hour. I hadn't researched the type of facial she was giving me so I had no idea what she was doing the entire time. Did I ask? No, I was trying to find the zen I was so desperately hoping for when I booked this place. My bad for not asking I guess. Lots of product shaming at the end... the usual esthetician stuff, telling me the products I'm using aren't bad blah blah. She told me about a new brand of SPF at the end (not sure if she put it on me or was just talking about the brand she likes) and said I could take a picture of it when I came out to pay, but of course - by the time I paid she was that much closer to getting out of there, so it was pretty much "ok great thanks bye!" I was really curious about her practice and when I walked out of her appointment- I was sold. Emma's page says she's a "skin sorcerer" and she really is! After a very long work week including a few late nights that aged me a few years (haha); I had an appointment to see Jacqueline at Skin Worship. What can I say? Once in the treatment room, it's more of the same. Spacious and inviting. The table you lie on is lined with a heated pad that has amethyst stones embedded, making the facial experience even richer as the warmth helps your body relax. Jacqueline creates a perfect atmosphere for relaxation with soft music and aromatherapy. About the treatment: Jacqueline asked me detailed questions about my skin to understand my needs. I have hyper pigmentation (sun spots), and dry skin. Being of mixed race background, it's hard to find an aesthetician who understands my special skin care needs. While I have olive skin, I am very sensitive to chemicals and strong cleansers, etc. Jacqueline immediately noted these different factors in making her recommendations for my facial. She is very knowledgeable about the latest treatments, and very talented in putting together a plan customized to my skin's needs.
