It is a pretty neat place when went in I saw that they have a lot of memorabilia all around the place. Also famous people have also been there with their autographs on their pictures. This place was quite busy which tells me that it must be good. It was very organized you can order your meal on a kiosk or at the counter. We decided to order it at the counter I ordered a famous Chicago hot dog which is an all beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun topped with chop onions, sweet pickle relish, tomato slices, dill pickle and a small spicy pepper with no ketchup but does have yellow mustard the price you could not bet it was very reasonable my guest ordered an Italian sandwich. After ordering the cashier gives you a receipt with your number on it and you step to the side. Then you wait until your number is called and that's how you get your order. Yes it was crowded but we waited for our two items for at least a half an hour which to me was unacceptable but besides that the place is really neat to try and the hot dog as well as the Italian sandwich was delicious definitely will be back again fingers crossed that we don't have to wait so long but the wait was worth it. They also have lots of seating around the restaurant. There is a second story as well you could sit up there.

There were two dozen stalls in which you could pull in your vehicle and use an intercom box with the menu printed on the side to transmit your order. A worker would then bring the food/drink to your parking space and use a handheld device to swipe your credit card. Alternatively, you could do what I did which was park and then walk up to a service window and order from there. Adjacent to the service window was a door that led to a room with countertop seating which served as a dine-in area. There were also a few canopied tables on the sidewalk at the edge of the parking lot. Their Chicago-style hot dogs were the featured products, however most of the menu was made up of other fare like fish/shrimp sandwiches, burgers, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, french fries, shakes, malts, sundaes, cones, etc. The price for the namesake Superdawg was now a whopping $9.30! I ordered one of those that consisted of a cardboard box packed with a poppy seed bun containing a pure beef hot dog dressed with all the trimmings. Those ingredients were golden mustard, tangy piccalilli, a kosher dill pickle, chopped Spanish onions and a hot pepper. Included in the box was Superfries which were extra crispy crinkle cut french fries. I also purchased a regular size Mellow Vanilla Supershake. I took a seat at a countertop inside the dine-in area which had only customer when I walked in. As I opened my box, it was packed so tightly that you couldn't even tell there was a hot dog inside (see my photo). The Superfries lined the top while the pickle and sport peppers also surrounded the poppy seed bun. I finished the fries first that I felt were overdone. The hot dog was normal size with a good snap to the frank. The neon green relish was unique as the bright color stood out. For a hot dog and a measly amount of fries, the cost felt high in my opinion. That being said, I didn't try a similar combo at any other spots around town for comparison. The vanilla milkshake was thick and creamy and the best part of my order. I gave a three star rating for my dining experience at Superdawg.

This was SPICY! I am usually good with spice but I had to stop half way thru. It definitely had flavor for sure. My husband got the 'Obama Dog' which had pineapple on it, unfortunately I don't see any description on the website. He also got the 'Snoop Dogg' hot dog which was basically just a chili dog. Regardless, he absolutely loved them. Service was quick and friendly. The decor was bright and fun. I would recommend and would be back if I was in the area.

Oh, where to start.. First of all, you really need to look hard to find this place. Hopefully its location will help me forget its existence. My heart goes out to the owners of this establishment. I've heard they're really nice people. So, I was visiting a friend in the neighborhood and they had suggested we grab a burger from Flub a Dub Chubs. We called and placed our order for pickup (the man on the phone was very polite) and the food was ready by the time we arrived. Well, here's where things took an awful turn. As soon as we walked through the door, we could smell marijuana smoke. Then, when I found out which person made my food (vagrant man with poor dental hygiene), I tossed it in the garbage when we got outside. Gross!! This was, by far, one of my worst experiences at a place like this. And that's why I will never eat here again. You shouldn't either. read more

This has turned into my top decision on Broadway to get a burger & fries. Burgers accompany a lot of fries. Burgers are so healthy you won't be ravenous after. Television is constantly on a better than average show, incredible spot to eat in or in case you're in a hustle complete. They additionally convey! The roe is wonderful with bacon and avocado. Cheddar fries are incredible. The mushroom and Swiss burger is yum and tasted pretty much as great in the wake of being popped in the broiler the following day. I ordered a burger from here a while ago in the bar upstairs. This is a decent little hot dog and burger joint. As captain of the ship, I had to get the "Roe" burger (avocado, bacon, cheese). The fries were hot and crispy and seasoned perfectly. My burger was a little undercooked from medium but still tasted good. I would've given 3 stars but I heard the cook making derogatory and offensive remarks about another customer. Apparently, his ignorance has traveled upstairs as well. Almost walked right past the place (it's "garden level") down a few stairs. The walls are covered in customer pictures and drawings which is always a good sign. Ordered the Roe, ($9 including fries) and wasn't disappointed. Hard to find a good california-style burger (read: with avacados) in Chicago, especially in the winter! Took about 10-15 minutes to make our order (4 of us) so it's all done fresh. Good service as well. One flat screen in there had the bulls game on. Next time I'll check out the Chicago dog for sure! read more

Flub a dubs has the best hot dogs in Chicago! When you stop by be sure to try the Mr. Big and get a side of cheese or chili to go with your fries. The yelp check in special is an awesome deal as they give you a drink with your purchase which is really awesome. The staff and employees and very nice and make you feel welcomed. The ambience inside is different than your traditional restaurant but they have cool drawings from customers they put on the walls. A very unique hotdog joint and definitely recommend! read more

My partner's burger was missing the standard toppings and her patties were medium rare (I was jealous). When I bit into my double hamburger, there was a repulsive smell coming from one of the ingredients therein and my patties were burnt badly. The golden fries were pale and not good- had to drown them in ketchup and aioli to choke them down my throat. Oddly, the cashless point of service machines requested a 22% tip after we ordered and before our food was served. The only way to make the ordering experience worse would be a QR code menu or a self-order kiosk

Honestly between this place and raising canes virtually next door there's a ton of ok but pretty overpriced chicken sandwiches in this neighborhood. My meal ended up being 20.00 ( not including tip) which was pretty outrageous for a slightly better fast food meal The second thing that might have soured me a bit was the person making my sandwich loudly cleared their throat while they were making it. Now I try not to be so paranoid as to think someone would spit in my food but when someone makes the universal noise of someone about to hawk a loogie during meal preparation it does kind of kill your appetite. I did think the service was polite other than that. I didn't dislike the place but I also probably won't come back
