This place is great for breakfast and lunch or a midday snack. Once you find parking, stop here because it is delicious. I particularly like the gourmet type of bagels that they have available. And everything is delicious. I usually get a sandwich on a bagel and they're serving of meat is great for the price. I mean the sandwich is huge.

The establishment was nice and clean. I've never to this sandwich shot before I've always went to Togo's or Mr. pickles and this is in comparison of those the crunchy chicken sandwich that I got was absolutely amazing and I suggested for people to try keep doing what you're doing sourdough company cause you're doing it

Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese ( With all Veggies )

My family and I stopped into The Posh Bagel on Saturday morning while passing through to the Bay Area. We were lucky enough and found parking right in front of the building. As it is Davis, there is only street parking. The inside is spacious with tables inside and outside. They had a giant glass display case with their bagel flavors and a huge refrigerator area with drinks. We ordered the Posh Breakfast Eggwich with Sausage, Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese (With all Veggies) and 2 Plain Bagels - one with regular smear and one with peanut butter. My husband said the Posh Breakfast Eggwich with Sausage was just okay, but I enjoyed my Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese (With all Veggies) even though they did not skimp on the veggies - I was only able to eat half since it was so filling. They offer other baked goods, sandwiches, pizza bagels and even bagel dogs. Everything looked really good and I could definitely see myself coming back next time we are in town. Staff was friendly, but not anything special. They seemed to just do their job and not want to be bothered. Check them out!

Nom nom nom! I popped in here for breakfast on a trip to Davis earlier this summer and it did NOT disappoint. The coffee was strong, the service was fast, and the lox and cream cheese breakfast bagel I ordered was absolutely delicious. Bonus points that they have outdoor seating and strong wi-fi, allowing me to sit for longer than I probably should have to nom on my bagel, sip my iced coffee, and get some work done early in the morning before the blazing hot sun took over my day. It was also a fun place to sit and people watch in Davis' adorable downtown shopping zone, as folks wandered past with their dogs, and business owners prepped for the day ahead. This will definitely be on my Davis rotation for future bagel adventures!

POSH HOT PASTRAMI Melt with cheddar bacon bagel
    David L.

This place is posh! At least the bagels are. The prices can also be quite posh too. However my pastrami melt on a cheddar bacon can easier be worth every penny. Also I think it's cheaper and maybe more satisfying than the sando shop near by. They do not skimp on the pastrami. It makes for a very heavy breakfast or brunch sandwich. I also got the posh lox sando. And that was also quite heavy too. I think it's cheaper than avocado toast at various places. So all in all Posh is a great breakfast place in Davis. Maybe the vibe ain't as nice of a family style sit down breakfast restaurant. But the bagels/muffins/sandos/pastries/etc are top quality. And the staff are very friendly. It's not fast. But it is freshly made. Make sure to start with the order line first. Then go to the line that ends at the cash register. Sailor and polished A

The food was amazing! Everything was delish! The coffee was perfect size and blend. The service was good. The place is pretty decent. Perfect place to start our day.

Options were plentiful Bagels were tasty Coffee was ok Service was swift Bathroom was disgusting For a bagel shop where most people eat with their hands, it seems like handwashing would be important, one would think that the shop owners and staff would put more effort into keeping this area just as "posh" as the front of the shop.

Gourmet Spinach Asiago eggwhich & cheese! Probably the best bagel I've ever had!!
    Jessica P.

Well deserving of the maximum star rating!! Don't let the long line deter you from checking it out. It's worth the wait! This small local shop serves specialty bagels, croissants, pastries, donuts, coffee, sandwiches, and more!! I like to pair my bagel with a Vietnamese Coffee. The bagels are outstanding!! My favorite is an Eggwich made with a Spinach Asiago bagel. Every time I eat one, I swear it's the best bagel I've ever had. My +1 always enjoys the Posh Supreme sandwich made with all the veggies on an Everything bagel. It's scrumptious! Customer service is outstanding! You can get a glimpse of the staff working hard behind the counter. Everyday they're hustling!! Interior is pretty basic. Line up to the left and pay. Tables are available to dine-in or out.

When I eat the veggie bagel I feel like I've done my soul justice. I've done right by my body. I can forgo the gym because I've taken in all the necessary sustenance that is needed.... Just kidding! But it is a damn good sandwich and does make me feel good after I eat it. If you live in this cute little college hamlet, we locals call Davis you know of this delicious bagel shop. Fresh bagels, all varieties, smears, and sandwiches made to order. Really sweet ladies behind the counters. Tip them well!

I won't go into the reasons why, but I wound up forgetting to order my coffee decaffeinated. I wound up ordering a Mexican mocha with almond milk and light whip. I also ordered a veggie scone. Both the barista and the person working the counter were friendly and nice. I LOVED the Mexican mocha. It wasn't too sweet (which I was worried about), didn't need sugar, but was delicious. It had a nice mix of the robust coffee flavor and the richness of the Mexican chocolate. The scone was good. I liked the mix of veggies and cheese. I think it would have been better if it were heated. This cafe is somewhat small. While there is a good amount of seating, it gets pretty packed in here. I'd say my biggest con of this cafe if you're drinking your coffee there are the seats and the lack of electrical outlets to charge your computer. The bar stools are pretty uncomfortable. I really could only sit the stool for about an hour. Since the stools didn't have a backrest, I started getting sore. I'd definitely get coffee here again.

Downside is that there doesn't seem to be AC, so it was quite warm inside. I ordered a matcha pandan which I noticed was whisked fresh. The drink featured a house-made pandan syrup and was topped with latik (a Filipino ingredient often used in desserts and is cooked down coconut-milk). I was super impressed by their latik! It tasted legit but was crispy and not oily which is not the usual for latik. Overall, the matcha was subtle in flavor, but the drink made for a nice study treat! I ordered one to take home. I requested they take out the ice, so it didn't get watered down. Without having to ask, they put the latik in a separate cup, so it didn't get soggy on the road. Amazing service!

Their menu had normal coffee drinks and lattes such as Americano, cappuccino, mocha, jasmine and earl grey tea. They also had unique drinks such as miso caramel latte, pandan latte, matcha pandan latte, matcha and hojicha. In addition, they had a spring seasonal menu and their current specials were a mango matcha drink and passion fruit espresso drink with tonic water. I ordered the hojicha latte with oat milk with light sweetener and light ice. They had options of whole milk, almond, or oat milk for milk. The cashier told me light ice meant there was going to be more oat milk. It was $5.80 which is cheaper than most cafes for hojicha however the quality wasn't as great as other cafes I've been to. The hojicha latte lacked flavor and tasted oily and didn't have the nutty flavor I'm used to but I still finished it. They usually have two bathrooms and they only had one available and sometimes you had to wait in a line for 20 min since there was so many people in the cafe which is inconvenient. Hopefully, they have the other bathroom fixed soon. Overall, it's a nice cafe with nice ambiance and some unique drink selections but I was not satisfied with the hojicha latte as there was no flavor. At least the prices are lower than other cafes. Maybe another drink would have been better.

I like that their drinks seem to be more about the quality of the tea versus having a ton of different flavor options. I've been getting the Cape Jasmine with Coconut Cream whenever I'm here (but do plan to try something new next time). The coconut cream really adds a lot to the drink, in my opinion, especially since I lowered the sweetness level. At Molly Jasmine, I do recommend keeping a higher sweetness level because otherwise the tea tends to taste a bit more bitter at first. The cream did blend into the drink to help balance out the taste, but as someone who tends to think drink / milk tea places tend to be overly sweet, you're drink likely won't be sweet enough if you reduce the sweetness at Molly Jasmine. Not as "presentable" as the authentic Molly Tea (no fancy straw or seal), but the osmanthus oolong milk tea was on par taste wise. Overall, it's a good "knock off molly tea" and satisfied our boba craving. It's good enough for Davis but def lacks the polish of real Molly Tea's.
