This place is great for breakfast and lunch or a midday snack. Once you find parking, stop here because it is delicious. I particularly like the gourmet type of bagels that they have available. And everything is delicious. I usually get a sandwich on a bagel and they're serving of meat is great for the price. I mean the sandwich is huge.

Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese ( With all Veggies )

My family and I stopped into The Posh Bagel on Saturday morning while passing through to the Bay Area. We were lucky enough and found parking right in front of the building. As it is Davis, there is only street parking. The inside is spacious with tables inside and outside. They had a giant glass display case with their bagel flavors and a huge refrigerator area with drinks. We ordered the Posh Breakfast Eggwich with Sausage, Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese (With all Veggies) and 2 Plain Bagels - one with regular smear and one with peanut butter. My husband said the Posh Breakfast Eggwich with Sausage was just okay, but I enjoyed my Posh Sliced Lox & Cream Cheese (With all Veggies) even though they did not skimp on the veggies - I was only able to eat half since it was so filling. They offer other baked goods, sandwiches, pizza bagels and even bagel dogs. Everything looked really good and I could definitely see myself coming back next time we are in town. Staff was friendly, but not anything special. They seemed to just do their job and not want to be bothered. Check them out!

Fresh sandwiches Crunchy chicken sandwich just the way they make it is FIRE

The establishment was nice and clean. I've never to this sandwich shot before I've always went to Togo's or Mr. pickles and this is in comparison of those the crunchy chicken sandwich that I got was absolutely amazing and I suggested for people to try keep doing what you're doing sourdough company cause you're doing it

Nom nom nom! I popped in here for breakfast on a trip to Davis earlier this summer and it did NOT disappoint. The coffee was strong, the service was fast, and the lox and cream cheese breakfast bagel I ordered was absolutely delicious. Bonus points that they have outdoor seating and strong wi-fi, allowing me to sit for longer than I probably should have to nom on my bagel, sip my iced coffee, and get some work done early in the morning before the blazing hot sun took over my day. It was also a fun place to sit and people watch in Davis' adorable downtown shopping zone, as folks wandered past with their dogs, and business owners prepped for the day ahead. This will definitely be on my Davis rotation for future bagel adventures!

POSH HOT PASTRAMI Melt with cheddar bacon bagel
    David L.

This place is posh! At least the bagels are. The prices can also be quite posh too. However my pastrami melt on a cheddar bacon can easier be worth every penny. Also I think it's cheaper and maybe more satisfying than the sando shop near by. They do not skimp on the pastrami. It makes for a very heavy breakfast or brunch sandwich. I also got the posh lox sando. And that was also quite heavy too. I think it's cheaper than avocado toast at various places. So all in all Posh is a great breakfast place in Davis. Maybe the vibe ain't as nice of a family style sit down breakfast restaurant. But the bagels/muffins/sandos/pastries/etc are top quality. And the staff are very friendly. It's not fast. But it is freshly made. Make sure to start with the order line first. Then go to the line that ends at the cash register. Sailor and polished A

Gourmet Spinach Asiago eggwhich & cheese! Probably the best bagel I've ever had!!

Well deserving of the maximum star rating!! Don't let the long line deter you from checking it out. It's worth the wait! This small local shop serves specialty bagels, croissants, pastries, donuts, coffee, sandwiches, and more!! I like to pair my bagel with a Vietnamese Coffee. The bagels are outstanding!! My favorite is an Eggwich made with a Spinach Asiago bagel. Every time I eat one, I swear it's the best bagel I've ever had. My +1 always enjoys the Posh Supreme sandwich made with all the veggies on an Everything bagel. It's scrumptious! Customer service is outstanding! You can get a glimpse of the staff working hard behind the counter. Everyday they're hustling!! Interior is pretty basic. Line up to the left and pay. Tables are available to dine-in or out.

Now every time…read morethat I come here, I'm kind of disappointed, but I come here occasionally because it's so close to my house. Service, ambience, restaurant is like any standard Noah's bagel chain. The food itself is kind of disappointing. I remember the bagels being much more hearty and larger when I was a student years ago. Inflation has hit hard because I don't find the bagels to be very satisfying or super filling anymore. I appreciate how they cook their eggs, in fact, I prefer this over how posh bagel will cook their eggs, and they find the filling to be pretty tasty but overall it just doesn't feel like it's worth the value.

I thought I might have left my sunglasses in there, but I live 40 min away, I don't want to drive all the way over just for there to be a chance my sunglasses weren't in there. So I called the store to see if my sunglasses were there, and no one picked up the call. I called again and still no response. I ended up having to spam call the store repeatedly and then a girl finally picked up and immediately with attitude said "i'm putting you on hold." I said "Excuse me?" and she followed with more attitude and rudeness "I'm helping someone right now, so you're on hold." I assume she put the phone in her apron or a pocket of some sort and she didn't even mute the call. I sat on "hold" for a little over 5 min. I asked my question that doesn't take a lot of time, and she wasn't helpful about that either. Didn't check in the back if there was sunglasses, it didn't feel like there was an effort on her part to see if there were sunglasses left behind. I had a question that would probably take less than two minutes to handle over the phone. It's extremely unprofessional to not pick up the phone, and then when they finally decide to pick up, to throw attitude at the person on the other side of the line. I work retail and food service, I understand the fast paced environment, but I would never treat the guests of my store that way, no matter the medium. If this is the representation of the brand, it's very poor.

The bakery itself is absolutely adorable, and I love that they have a shaded patio where you can relax. You can really tell everything is made fresh daily. The chocolate croissant had the perfect balance of being light and airy while still having that slightly doughy texture that I love. It wasn't overly flaky--it was the perfect in-between. The staff was so kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. There is a lot of table space in the cafe and when UC Davis is in session, I've found many of the tables to be occupied by students doing just that. Mishka's Cafe has been around since 1995 and is a beloved place in Davis. It's a traditional cafe that has a welcoming atmosphere. When you first walk into the cafe you'll see the food case just to your left. It is filled with cafe items such as croissants, muffins, and cookies. There are savory items as well as sweet. I found the quality of the food here to be quite good and unique. Sometimes cafe food just feels like it came from somewhere else, but even if these did, they have a uniqueness about them. For example, the chocolate croissant is very flakey with a good amount of chocolate in the interior. It really surprised me! I also found the ham and cheese croissant to be very rich in flavor. My only gripe about either or these items was the heating method. I'm not sure how they are heated up, but they feel as though they used one of those quick heaters to quickly get them ready rather than a good toaster to get the items nice and crisp. As good as they are they were a bit limp due to the heating method. In terms of coffee, it's perfectly adequate. They have special offerings as well as their traditional menu. I found the coffee to be mild and friendly. It's not too strong nor very unique. It's just a solid cup. Sometimes that's really all you need.
