I came here after a late night of bowling and they were "closed" but the staff was incredibly friendly and insisted on us ordering, even though we felt bad and wanted to come back a different day. I was immediately impressed with the wide variety of selection offered from sweet to savory and even espresso ! It was late so I only got the soufflé pancakes, but they were amazing ! Definitely add this to your new dessert list if you love a souffle pancake! I stopped by for the soft opening and was pretty impressed with the food since they were all made fresh, especially the souffle pancakes. I loved that it wasn't too sweet. The matcha souffle pancakes weren't too sweet at all, but i you do want something sweater, the creme brulee one was quite on the sweeter end of the spectrum. They also offered a hojicha and strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (yay for milk alternatives), but these weren't as sweet as either, which was definitely up my alley! This was my first time having a croffle and it was rather stiff, but it was still really tasty. We were excited to try out this new restaurant which I didn't noticed was open since I go eat hotpot all the time. The interior was so fun and had a great atmosphere to go with friends. The colorful decoration & table tops were so comfy & music was great. There were people hanging & studying with friends, so a great alternative to Starbucks but make it Asian with plenty of seat. We wanted to try a little bit of everything but we can an hour before closing and they didn't have any more croffles. Luckily we order a good enough spread. We order the Soufflé Matcha Tiramisu, Ube Burnt Top Cheesecake, Refresher Yuzu drink & Ice Matcha with Oat Milk. We order for here, but when the food came out it was all in to-go containers even though we specified for here... a little werid with the policy being order after 9pm all come in to-go box. That experience made it really werid as we never had it before and now we were suppose to compile it ourself. Also didn't help that my friend jump the gun and dumped stuff in when we weren't ready which kinda ruin it. And while we were seated and trying to eat. None of the workers tried correcting their mistakes or asking if we wanted a plate till we went up. That being said, I wouldn't recommend the Soufflé Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu as it's a heavy emphasis on the matcha. Wish they pair more strawberry instead of just adding cut up strawberry at the top. Not only is the sauce matcha, but it's covered and dusted with matcha. If they did a strawberry sauce I think that would help balance it a lot more. Anyways, I'm here to talk about the Ube Burnt Top Cheesecake. Don't be fooled by how much smaller portion it is. It was so good and flavorful. And pretty filling. I highly recommend going for that. We wanted to also try the croffle but it sold out. If you check in you do get a free drink from their selection. I picked the Yuzu and it was quite good and refreshing, since the matcha was just too much. Atmosphere and decor were really cute and comfy. Seem like a spot for students since there was a big group that was studying and being loud. It didn't hinder are experience as it was later and the store was closing soon. I stumbled across the soft opening for Fluffy Fluffy when I was at The District. It is a Japanese inspire cafe serving soufflé pancakes, coffee, lattes, refreshers, savory snacks, and desserts. The inside is decorated cutely and has plenty of seating. Everyone there had a very welcoming ambiance. I just stopped by for a drink because I was not that hungry. It was made very quickly. The iced salted caramel latte had the perfect level of sweetness and I thoroughly enjoyed. Staff was friendly and informed me the grand opening will be announced on their Instagram @fluffyfluffyusa so I will definitely be stopping by to check out their food. We went today mainly for the soufflé, but we decided to try the salmon croffle as well, it was decent, but however the waffle fries were barely warm when it got to our table, and it would be nice if a slice of fresh lemon were offered with the salmon, and some syrup for the waffle The soufflé was nice and fluffy, a little on the pricier side of $15.99, but the tiramisu topping was delicious My bf got the matcha latte with light sugar, it was pleasant, not the strongest matcha taste, but definitely present I got the Nutella hazelnut latte, it didn't taste like any espresso was in there at all, no taste of coffee whatsoever, and instead of Nutella it tasted like caramel, which they might've messed up and gave me the salted caramel latte instead, but my issue is more with the fact that it did not taste like coffee at all, just caramel milk read more

Definitely needs some work before their actual opening. They said it would be about a half hour for the tiramisu pancakes and slice of cheesecake that we ordered and it ended up being about 50 minutes. Granted this was a soft opening and they were nice but that was a long time to wait. And again, it might be something they are working on it but the pancakes were just not really tasty. They were fluffy for sure, but just didn't taste like much. Then the cheesecake, yikes. It was super cold like it just came out of the fridge or was just defrosted. My son and I decided to come and try this new place. We came on a Saturday around 10:30 -11 in the morning . We walked in and yes the place was pretty full inside . The ordering line was about 4 people ahead of us. As we get to the front to order the girl at the counter did warn us the wait was 45 minutes to an 1 hour long as the food is made to order. We decide to stay since we were already here. We ordered the Nutella fluffy pancakes $14.99and the ham and cheese croffle $11.99( I believe that's what it's called) I also ordered a hot Americano. It was very loud in there I am assuming it's because of the ceiling of the place and there was a small number of kids running around the place. Let's just say it definitely took that long for us to get our food. My son ended up going to another boba place around there to get a drink and something else to eat since he got hungry while waiting. Once we got our food we wanted to cut in half that way we each would have a half of the sweet pancakes and some of the savory croffle. I asked a server for a knife and she came back to tell me they had run out of knifes. Yes, out of knifes. I would think if your out of knifes go and wash some because you will need some. So I had to use my fork and do my bast at cutting them. I was not a fan of either. The pancakes needed a bit more sweetness and tasted a bit to eggy. The ham and cheese croffle was dry as it had no sauce or anything just the ham and cheese and some arugula on top. Also I went to ask for some cream and sugar for my Americano and was told the only had sugar and no creamer. At least the coffee was good tasting without the creamer. My friend is a huge fan of fluffy pancakes, so we gave Fluffy Fluffy a chance in Tustin. This review though is going to focus more on customer service from what I observed. But first, the pancakes. Please take this with a grain of salt though because food is subjective. This is probably because of inflation and being in an area of high-cost-of-living, but a signature Nutella Banana pancake (one order comes with 2 fluffy pancakes, a few slices of strawberries, half a banana, the Nutella sauce, and whipped cream on top) will run you close to $19 with tax and tip. I was not impressed, meaning the pancakes are okay, some parts of it felt tart, and I don't know if it's because of the baking soda or mixture not completely well mixed, but overall, not a place I would rush to come back to. Once again though, your miles my vary. Now, customer service definitely can be improved. When my friend and I got to the place around 3pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was not busy. We saw tables opened on the left side of the dinning area, but there were dirty plates on the open table. My friend had to move the dirty plates to one of the table that already had the dirty plates, and that was what prompted one of the employees to come over to clean the table we chose, so we could sit down. Normally, this is understandable if a restaurant is busy, and there is a lack of staff. However, there were about 4-5 employees in the front where the cash register is, so this was surprising. By the time our pancakes came out, the employee gave my friend and me 1 set of utensils, which came with 1 fork and 1 knife...My friend had to go over to the cash register to ask for an extra fork. The employee apologized and said they were out of the metal utensils and only had plastic forks. This is fine, but again, this should have been offered to us from the start. And I don't think I saw any staff coming around to ask if any of the customers needed anything else. Ok so obviously I cannot compare these fluffy pancakes than the likes I've had in Japan, however, I really had high expectations from the pictures that it'd at least taste good. When I first walk into the cafe, it was empty, that should have been my first sign of warning. I also noticed each pancake takes about 20-25mins to come out which makes sense since each pancake is made to order. Once I bite into the food, all I can really taste is the egg batter and nothing else much. It wasn't as fluffy as the likes of Motto tea cafe in SGV and was more expensive at the same time. I came here with a friend on a rainy Saturday looking for a safe space away from the rain! The fluffy cakes were great and it was the right amount of fluff. Not too sweet unless you include the nutella. I got the matcha tiramisu cake, however we could hardly taste the matcha. The wait time was pretty average, but I could tell they were pretty overloaded that day. On the ambiance side, I would say it was a bit packed and hard to find seating but again it was probably due to the rain. We sat down at a table and waited while other people in line placed their orders. After 40 minutes, we had our appetizer but were still waiting on the waters we had asked for. The thing that bothered me was that after we got the waters, the customers who placed orders after us began to get served. I had to gather enough information on this place and understand what the product was to really give it an honest review. For starters, the service was immaculate. I personally would have preferred bigger chunks of mango that clog the straw every time you sip, I like to eat them after the drink is finished. The food, before I get into this portion- you must know- it's all made to order, and I did come in during its pre-supersoft-opening, so the staff was low- I would find it unfair to dock a star for the timing. I do like the integrity; they try their own food (THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY TRY YOUR FOOD BEFORE GIVING IT TO YOU). They make the fluffy pancake in batches! And getting them right isn't an easy process, I would know, I tried. If I'm correct this- pancake is known as a souffle pancake, or to some Americans, Japanese pancakes. Yeah, go ahead- try to make them, this isn't your typical old-fashioned pancake! This one really puts the 'cake' in 'pancake'. Sadly my souffle pancake did not.
