This spot is one I have been wanting to try for a minute, but between errands, a doggo, and workouts, making it here before 11 has not happened. Well, until recently that is. We arrived in the parking lot of the most unassuming doughnut shop and walked into scents of sweet, fried dough only to be greeted by a kind and cheerful woman behind a beautiful pastry case filled with scrumptious doughnuts. I had been wanting to try this spot because the height and texture of these reminded me of brioche doughnuts we had in Maui. They were not quite that dense, but denser than a regular yeast. They were all evenly glazed/coated/decorated. It bothers me when there's not enough glaze on a doughnut and you will not have that problem here! Atmosphere matches the service, which is to say no-frills and nor any obvious attempt to create a pleasant space inside. So, the "to go" part is apt. Get in, get out. They are cash only. Prices are a tad high for the quality, but within reason at around $1 for a smaller donut and $2 for fritters / premiums. Fritters taste like every other fritter, but more on the crispy / crunchy side. I could see this being a great place to order a few dozen donuts for an office or party. It's a small step above the grocery store, and the extra effort will show. For the donut loving individual or family however I wouldn't make a special trip, especially with Casual Friday Donuts just a few minutes south on Division. read more

After the demise of Donut Parade (which I am truly devastated about) I am on the lookout for a new donut shop. I had been to Donuts To Go once before, but got one and ran. This time, we decided to get a cup of coffee and hang around for a bit. I was glad we did. My first time in I didn't even notice whether or not there was seating, as it is a pretty small space, but they definitely do! There are four or five booths with a lovely view of the passing Division traffic. (In all seriousness they do a great job of making the inside a comfortable place to enjoy a donut.) The maple bar was not quite up to Donut Parade's absurdly high bar, but it was good. The couple working, who I assume are the owners, was very nice and patient with us newbies. It could have been by chance, but it seemed like about every third customer ordered the blueberry donuts so that might be something I have to try. The prices were extremely reasonable, with coffee and most donuts for less than $1! Overall it was a great experience. Why only 4 stars? The 5th would put them on par with Donut Parade, which I am not just not ready to do. I'll be back to update this review with a 5th and final star as soon as my tears are dry. read more

I know Donut Parade is "the place" in Spokane, but in many ways I have to politely disagree. They're great and all, but Donut's To Go is cheaper and every bit as awesome. Now here's the thing... I could go on and on about all of their donuts. I could tell you about their maple bars and chocolate flings, etc. But there is one donut here; one super special, I love-it-so-much it's awesome can't live without it donut... the simple cherry glaze. It's sweet pink frosting calls to me in my dreams. It tells me sweet whispers and teases me with it's glory. It is slightly crunch, a little oily and sweet, but not so sweet you have to lick a pile of dirt (no one really does that, right?). A few things you should know: - come early - bring cash - be patient - I think only one person works here, I presume the owner: an efficient middle aged Asian woman who must have learned how to make donuts from the Gods Check them out, the donuts here are absolutely wonderful! read more

My fav drive through donut place in Spokane. If you need quality donuts and need them fast, they are definitely the right people to make it come together. Their staff is friendly and they have demonstrated with me on a couple occasions that they are up to putting together a couple dozen in a few minutes for those last minute emergencies. If you are considering going to a grocery store instead, I would really ask that you give them a chance. They are local, all of the donuts are made on-site and with great people. These are the best donuts we have ever had!!!!!!!My Favorite is the Maple Bacon Bar, now you may think yuck bacon maple bar, as I did But try it you will be majorly shocked. The Donuts are "Much" larger then regular Donuts in fact we split the Donuts because we find them pretty rich if we eat the whole thing at once. The sign says they open at 5 a.m. but I haven't made it there that early. I have made it as early as maybe 9 a.m. and the selection is limited.
