$450 later, whether that's was my decision is up for debate. Came in to possibly get the oil changed on my Thomas school bus with a IH DT466. They checked to see if they had the filter and in the meantime I wanted to get a ballpark price of the oil change, maybe even a minimum for disposal and labor. They said they couldn't yet, meanwhile they find the filter and begin without running a quote by me. She gives me the approx. $400 quote well into the service and sure enough I look down to see a price list by engine posted under a counter (I'll share that image so you can avoid getting taken advantage of or at least know ahead of time) They argued they don't know until they know the engine and gallons (DT466 in which I kept mentioning), gallons needed, and filter. I've changed it myself before, I knew the oil, how many gallons, filter. Could pull up my receipts and Amazon price. If I happen to be wrong about specs idk how I made it here from florida. All I wanted was a ballpark $ and if I knew that's what they needed I would've happily helped them. As far as I know the oil change, fuel filter, and fluid check was done correct but I have been too heated writing this to even check. Our coach needed a definite wash as well as the car. We stopped at Fly in and Wash but we didn't "fly" out. We had a three hour wait but we decided it was needed in spite of the wait. The guys did a great job on both and we recognized our coach and toad again!! Both were really dirty from all the traveling. I asked one of the guys to add a certain area of the coach and he warmly said... no problem!! Bugs were all over both so after two spray washes we finally got them all off. Great deal for $70 in all!!! Was really surprised by the cost. Thanks guys for the extra effort to make me happy on a good clean job!!! On our way to Billings Montana KOA looking clean and bright. Terrible. RV with toad. We pulled in, there was no "line", just spaces where trucks were parked. 3 in front of one bay, one in front of another, both bays in use. We pulled in behind the one truck and waited about 20 mins. Eventually a number of drivers got out and were arguing about who was actually next because the guys washing were SO. SLOW. and none of the employees came out to talk with any drivers or give any information. The manager came to us and said there were trucks ahead of us so we needed to move - we said that's fine, but we can't back up because we are towing so we needed to unhook. He gruffly said "well you shouldn't have pulled in this lane!" What??? We have been to tons of blue beacons and other truck washes. You pull in, you get in line, and when it's your turn you go. They are disorganized and rude. There are no directions as where to pull into and if you are flat towing, don't bother because you will have to back up in order to be in their "line". We mentioned that none of his workers came to talk to us or direct us at all - he looked frustrated at that but said nothing and walked away. Our rig is a mess and desperately needs a wash, but we unhooked, backed out and took off because there was no way 1. We were gonna wait 1-2 hours for a wash (seriously, we watched their guys washing and they moved at a sloths pace) and 2. No way we were giving them our business or our money. If you have loads of time and can back up, then go for it, otherwise pass this place up and find a better, more professional truck wash! read more

We own a trucking company and wanted to do business more locally. We were pleasantly surprised by the rates quoted for the full service oil change at Fly In. My husband shared the size of our rig engine and confirmed the amount of oil needed. He was assured twice that the price ( under 500.00) was for the oil change and all our filters. Imagine our surprise at the 794.75 charge that followed...and they did not change all our filters, only the small ones. Dishonest. Dishonest. Dishonest. When my husband asked to speak to manager they asked him to leave. But they sure got their 794.75 If I could give them zero stars I would with a completely clear conscience. We would not be in business if we treated our customers like Fly In treated us. read more

Charles was very helpful in explaining everything we needed about our semi truck on the oil change. If you are in the area and need a oil change they're very upfront with the prices and will not try to up sell you on things you don't need. I see this a lot as a female trucker in the industry, but I'm very educated on vehicle maintenance thanks to my husband and father. I will recommend this place to all my trucking family. read more

This was one of the few RV wash places for nearly 200 miles. Right off I-90 and 3 blocks up. They washed, soaped and waxed my 42ft RV and my tow vehicle, a Ford F 150 for $88. They were efficient, thorough and very courteous. read more

Got lied to about them checking brakes? yup. brakes went out in the middle of nowhere next day? yup. did I get an apology or at least "I'm sorry, or that sucks"? Nope. Went here for an oil change in my pickup. The guy brings in my dirty air filter and asks me if i would like them to change it. So i say no right, because they all charge way too much to do those. So i pay go home and realize they charged me 50$ for the filter and to put it in (5 second job). all in all it was 180$ for the oil change and this air filter. Never going back here again. read more

If you are due for an oil change in your coach or generator, you MUST go to Fly In Lube and Wash just due east on Hwy 90 before Billings. They are the best!!! You just drive in over the pit and they give you the price on the spot and tell you exactly what you need and what you don't. They did not try to overcharge or up-sell me (refreshing) and I was out of there in less than an hour. They actually apologized for taking so long! Some companies do a great job until they completely screw up and don't stand behind their service. This is Fly In Lube & Wash. Spend thousands of dollars over the last 3 years using this company. Never again! They over filled the oil and we ended up blowing the engine on our first truck. The second time this happened, oil was blowing out every possible spot in our truck.We identified Fly In Lube to be the problem. In an attempt to inform the owner about this problem, the owner blew his top just talking about it. Got physical while screaming at the top of his lungs, deigned being possible, and told us to get out and never come back. As for customer service, they failed miserably. Manager was the only calm person working this day to discuss this in a civil manner. If the owner can't handle running his business in a professional manner, he should step down. read more

Went to their self serve car wash. This was on a Sunday, so no one was around. Their foam brush wasn't working and the soap would only work on low pressure. I finished out the wash cause I had a enclosed trailer attached as well. Fast forward to Monday morning. I call in to let them know about the issues I had. The manager told me " I don't believe you!' I said well ill come in after work and talk. I went in after work, as i walked into the lube bay there was an old lady getting her oil changed. They just got done yelling at her as I walked through the door. Then the manager asked me if he could help me. I said yes, I called this morning about the car wash. He said, 'Oh follow me the owner is right in here. We went through another door, and as we did the manager said, 'Hey Bob this is that jackass that called this morning about the car wash. I was like WOW ok. Now mind you there is another customer in the waiting room. The owner (older guy in his 70's) just starts repeating I don't believe a word your saying, without me even saying anything. I said Sir I have no reason to lie over $6 I'm just saying that your car wash isn't working properly. He continues to say , Bullshit, I don't believe you. I said well grab some quarters and lets go out there and you will see. He said nope I'm not going out there. I said come on i prove to you it doesn't work. He said, Bullshit, get out of here or ill kick your ass. Once again I said wow seriously, and looked over at the customer sitting there was like you hearing this. The customer just sat there, timid. He once again said lets go outside and ill kick your ass. I just sir you are unbelievable and turned around and left. Do Not waste your time or Money at this place. read more

I stopped in for a wasp in August drove away not feeling 100% but nonetheless accepted it. Came back again in early January add another wash they were so busy they just ushered me out the door it was dark when I left so I drove for a couple hours went to bed got up and was extremely unhappy with the worst wash job I've ever had in my life my kids do a better job on Saturday with a bucket in the garden hose. I called back to discuss the situation offered to send them pictures they were not interested in discussing anything and basically told me too bad too sad. I came back two weeks later and offered to pay for half of the wash to see if we couldn't get it right and continue doing business together they refused so basically they don't give a rat's ass about their customers they just want their money the Blue Beacon would wash your truck five times to get it right for you I recommend nobody goes here ever. read more

Stopped to have our RV washed from going through road grime. They said they would brush or hand wash it and could get it clean. $55 later it looked like they had not touched it except for the bugs off the front. They said they tried 3 cleaners and couldn't get it clean. We pulled over to the gas station and I used a magic eraser sponge and was able to start getting the grime off. Our oil change took--I swear to goodness--10 minutes! The best guys--no up-sales! They change your oil with a smile. Obviously, a family business where people care! This was a great place! They washed our motorhome and trailer and at very reasonable price. The whole staff was great and courteous and the environment was very clean. The only thing I would like to mention, is if you put a directional sign at the freeway exits, it could have saved us 3 u-turns with our rig lol. Well worth the stop and will be back. read more

Great place to get your big RV washed ... quick and efficient

don't ever take anything you want to get back working here. they are horrible and have ruined multiple of my uncles vehicles ( I don't know why he keeps going back) and when I was out of town he took my Mazda 2004 there and they messed it up. it says in the computer ( I know I used to work at a shop) and also on my oil cap that my car only takes 520 synthetic. anyone want to take a wild guess what they put in it? 1030 conventional. when I came home I drove my car and thought it was acting weird but I'd been gone a while and figured it was just from not driving. then finally I happen to look up at the sticker and see that they had put 1030 conventional in! no wonder my car was acting up. It has been months and I'm still angry. they are the worst never trust these people with ANYTHING. read more

I stopped recently on my way through Billings to have my oil changed as I was in a rush. The location, along side the interstate, was very appealing. However, the service was less than desirable. The technician was not welcoming, nor was any of the other staff. In comparison to other oil & lube service centers the amount of time this business took was extreme, despite the fact that I was the only vehicle there! The employees seemed more interested in conversing with one another than ensuring my service was completed. I will not return. read more
