With Patriot, communication was stellar throughout. After I submitted a quote request online, I received an email back within 24 hours with a very reasonable quote. I had a couple of questions and the rep (Allison) was great. She even suggested putting some extra information in the notes about where to do the pick-up and drop-off (something that was completely messed up by the other company). On the day of the pickup, the driver texted me to let me know exactly when he would be there (the other company messed that up too). We talked about the best place to do the pickup and he went to the place that I suggested (the other company insisted on an illegal and dangerous location even though I told them there was a safer and legal spot just around the corner). I asked the Patriot driver to give me his best estimate on the drop off date because I needed to book a flight. He told me he would text me after picking up the other the cars. And he did!!! He arrived on the date he said he would. He texted me about where he thought he could do the drop off and I was able to suggest a better location within walking distance of my house. In short, they did everything they promised, with excellent communication throughout. I will never use anyone else.

Took my deposit and nothing. When thinking about though the overall price was reasonable the breakdown was wrong. Deposit was three times what I had previously paid on deposit but the driver portion was the same.

All the brokers that you request quotes from all tell you how simple and sure they can do it for X price. I got multiple quotes and Ship a Car Direct came back with the lowest one. We were quoted $1300 for an open carrier. The final cost ended up being $1700 which was fine but it just seemed like they low balled to get your business but then the reality is they have to up the price or they can't find someone to accept the car and actually pick it up. I'm happy the carrier that picked up our car did a great job in transporting it. I hope to never have to ship another car again, though.

They provided me with all of the information that I needed to make an informed decision about which company to go with. Their prices were not cheap, but they did offer a white-glove service, which always comes at a price. Totally worth the convenience though especially when you're moving hoursss away! When the movers arrived, they were on-time and well organized. They took great care of packing up all furniture and other items securely into their moving truck. They used all sorts of protective stuff like blankets, pads, dollies. On arrival, my aunt happily told me that the delivery team was careful as they unloaded their belongings from the truck into their new home - even carrying heavier items up two flights of stairs! Every box was labeled, accounted for, delivered to the prospective rooms that my relatives directed to -- kitchen stuff went in the kitchen, clothes in the walk in closets, kid stuff in their rooms... Cross Country Moving Company's customer service is pleasant as well - from answering my questions via phone or emails promptly to even after the "sale".. you know, sometimes you get such a good treatment until you book a service. I am very happy to recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. My relatives concluded that the entire process was incredibly smooth.
