As someone who used to work in the wedding industry, I'm fairly jaded when it comes to a lot of the modern traditional shots (rings, bouquets, that sort of thing) and tend to view them as kinda frivolous. However, Josh managed to persuade me that a number of these, and other shots, will be more important to me down the line when the memories start to go fuzzy. Our wedding was in October 2016, and I'm already thankful that he was thoughtful enough to capture the details that I may have either missed or skipped past. Katie helped pick out costume rentals, stick to the budget and still know what would work on camera and what we didn't need to rent. Josh was great at posing not only me and my husband but our dog (who of course was a lion). I learned a lot about angles and what works well for posing (something I was worried about before). He was receptive to the poses we wanted to have and very good at giving direction during the shoot. My make up was stunning! Katie is a true talent in the make up industry, she nailed it! My make up was whimsy, contoured, bold and fun- everything I didn't even know I wanted. Josh also designed our cards, ordered them for us and they were fantastic. They looked like vintage postcards with "Happy Holidays from our Circus to Yours" on the front and the back.... he was detailed adding each of our pictures in a cute frame and making the finish look old timey circus. The whole experience left me more confident in front of a camera and thirsty to do more creative shoots with them... the whole process was just a boat load of fun.

I was the wedding planner for the couple and worked directly with Ross. There are 4 package options to choose from and we chose the Tea and Cake package. From the get go, Ross was very responsive and easy to work with. We had a number of questions before we signed with him and he patiently answered them. All of our meetings were done via zoom, email or telephone calls. As the wedding date drew closer, Ross' response time was even faster! His team mate, Johanna, who also did the wedding day videos, was such a delight to work with. She is so pleasant and friendly. Johanna did the groom's getting ready time at our house while Ross did the bride's getting ready session. At the wedding venue, both Ross and Johanna were "invisible" during the whole event. I did not see them at all but they were everywhere and captured the essence of the wedding. They were excellent in making sure our guests (family and friends) were well represented in the wedding video. They also worked seamlessly with our photographer and did not get in her way. They met our photographer for the first time at the wedding venue and this was the first time they worked with her. No issues The turnaround time from the first teaser film to the final finished full length 60- minute video was spot on. We got the teaser within a week of the wedding; the 10 minute highlight video within 10 weeks (delay was due to our late feedback time to Ross) and the final full length video not long after. The quality of the video was excellent and we really didn't have too many edits/changes we wanted or needed to make. Two4Tea captured every precious moment of the wedding event - I missed the cake cutting ceremony but was able to enjoy it from the video. We have watched the video many times and it always brings happy tears as we re-live that special day for so many. One last shout out: The couple live in Chicago and I live in California. When the full video was completed, Ross sent one copy to me and the other 2 copies to the couple in Chicago. He didn't want me to wait to see the video. When we first saw his portfolio, we were like "Yes this is the photographer that we would want." They are both extremely personable and so easy to work with. We met with him initially to see if he was a good fit for us - vibes, editing, price, what we get from his packages, etc. Everything had checked the boxes. Leading up to the wedding day, we had a couple of more meetings with him to confirm everything. We asked for recommendations for photo spots post wedding and Danny provided a few locations that fit into our itinerary. On the day of, Danny and Julia were prompt. They worked really well with us, our wedding party and all of our guests. There were times when I would be like, "Ok this is an interesting pose or idea, but I'm going to trust the process." Julia is also a talented photographer in her own right, with a great eye for detail and capturing priceless photos of people and events happening outside of the center spotlight.
