I was so happy to find this little cute brewery hidden away in Healdsburg! They are an open air small brewery that offers food as well. I got the pairing of beers with the chicken tenders. See the picture. It was a meal and a fun well made pairing. They change the pairing each month, so check it out before you go to make sure you know what they are offering that month. The service and staff are friendly and helpful. Also, they have great customers. I met and got great trail hike insights from a local guy who happened to sit next to me at the bar. What a gorgeous place to be on a sunny day! Unfortunately this place was a bit of a let down. I drove here specifically for their beer and corn dog flight. The corn dogs were sitting on parchment paper that had a grease stain underneath it. I don't know if the food was sitting for awhile or if it was just that greasy. The corn dog itself was mushy and was just a big glob in your mouth. The flavors were lacking and it was just not good. Someone at another table got the wings and they smelled amazing. I think I should've not gone with the gimmicky items and gotten something else. The beer tasted nice and was cold. The bartender was nice and attentive. I'd be willing to try this place again but I would definitely not order the same food. read more

This was our first visit so we didn't know what to expect, we went to support/watch a teen band called Revolve. There was outside seating, great for hanging out and drinking beer, a very lively atmosphere. Although the waiter was great, there needed to be more staff on hand. It looked like he was alone and the place was full, we had to flag him down for orders. The pizza special was.. okay. it was shrimp with cream sauce, sounded great but maybe better as a pasta dish. The burgers were great, highly recommended. The fries were also tasty. We had a light beer, for the life of me I can't remember the name. We also tried the imperial stout- I don't recommend it unless you like port. It was very sweet and difficult to enjoy with meal. It was more of a dessert drink, maybe make a float. Our waiter was great though, he took it back and didn't charge us. I would definitely go back for burgers and fries and the light beer. I frequent the Santa Rosa location for post work happy hours, and it's a great spot, but their Healdsburg location has such a fun atmosphere and different vibe! The outdoor bar and various seating areas are so inviting and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I really love when they do their various beer flights with food pairings; always such a fun experience! Pictured here is their mac n cheese pairings, but they have also done corn dogs, sliders, chicken tenders, and more! Such a creative and unique experience, even for those who might not be the biggest beer fans. They also have a few gems on the menu that you can't get in SR, particularly the frito misto -- yummy! Yesterday we had an amazing meal at Fogbelt. I had the fish tacos, battered, cooked perfectly, with an amazing aioli and served with chips salsa and pico. My wife decided to try the salmon entree. The fish was cooked perfectly and the combination of dill and rosemary along with the light creamy sauce made this salmon dish a must try! On a quiet Friday afternoon, this is our first visit here. This is a convenient stop adjacent to the walking path. The brewpub has five tables outside, along with a few adjacent to the bar, in a canopy-covered area To quench the thirst from our walk, my gal ordered a Stardust hazy IPA, and I ordered a God Wood triple IPA. Both very tasty, as I'm sure the other four -- yes four-- IPAs on the menu. Food menu looks interesting, although we weren't looking for food on this trip -- hence the 4 star review, which I'm sure will update to a 5 when we come back to enjoy more delicious beer along with some very interesting looking food. it's OK to bring your dog with you ( ours was a loaner). Water for the dog available upon request. Pleasant staff. My guess is this place gets busier in the evenings and on Saturdays. read more

Sadly, today's visit was a huge fail. As many times as we've been to their parings with different beer and different foods, this wasn't the best. The wings were obviously reheated from yesterday. They were super dry and even the meat was crunchy. euwwww. There didn't seem to be different sauces for the pairing, just one sauce sort of dribbled over it all. This is a item that's $27 bucks on the menu. They didn't seem bothered by the quality they were serving. Will think twice about going back. Really a shame, has been so good in the past. read more

I tried. I've been here many times and only on a few visits have there been friendly, professional staff. Hospitality training seems to be lacking. They are either understaffed and stressed out, or just super immature. Or both. The kitchen and menu is always good and never disappoints, but the service is the worst in town. What gets me is that I'm not asking for much. I'm not a Portlandia episode. I'm just someone who sits at the bar, and would like to order two drinks and some tacos. Pleasantly surprised with my takeout order! Ordered the station burger with added bacon: Station Burger Two Niman Ranch Smashed Beef Patties, Cheddar Cheese, Grilled Onions, Smokehouse Aioli, Brioche Bun, Side Pickles, Fries $17 The cheddar, onions, and aioli created a delicious flavor combo. The bacon was a bit fatty for my liking but my guy loved it. The fries were thick: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice salt & pepper seasoning. I haven't met many fries that I don't like. I called in my order and it was ready for pickup within 15 minutes on a recent weeknight. The bar was busy! I had a very disappointing experience with fogbelt customer service on July 23rd. We sat at the bar and it took like more than 5 minutes before we got acknowledged if that's what you can even call it! When the server got to us she was just like what can I get for you in the most unfriendly way.After that we were waiting for like 10 minutes nobody came so I had to get a waiter's attention and said can I place and order?? just to be told to hang on not in the nicest way!! At this point all I wanted is to get our check and get the hell out of there! This has been going on for at least the last 4 months! Don't even know why we keep going back!! Can't really say I enjoyed my time at the Fogbelt-Healdsburg location. There is absolutely no indoor seating and they do not have fountain drinks, therefore you have to pay for each soda. (I dragged my mother with me who doesn't drink beer) Fogbelt- Healdsburg best menu item is the sliders. We weren't to pleased with the rest of our food. It just didn't taste up to par. Thought it was us but the table next to us gave us some entertainment as they were checking out their fried chicken. Although our waiter was very friendly, I will definitely stick with the Santa Rosa location as they have much more of a selection. Ambiance - always a nice, relaxing, local hangout. Food - regular menu items are usually strong, their GF pizza is one of the better thin crusts around. Their recent beer/corn dog pairing didn't hit the mark. Portions smaller than advertised-felt a bit deceived for the $24 price. Service - the few working last night were hustling hard. Not sure why this spot doesn't staff more on promotional weeks. The service on our last 3 visits has faltered. As a huge fan of the Santa Rosa location we were excited to check out the station. We were specifically drawn in to the beer/food pairing happening. It's a cool location and one that will be amazingly popular after the nearby construction is complete. No tables to be had at 6:00pm but that really didn't matter because of the beer, friends and conversation. My friends loved their beers and we had a good time trying the different bites. Apparently, invisibility is my new superpower. The waiter walked past us FIVE times without seating us, so we sat ourselves. Then, two other employees managed to greet and check on every single table--except ours. Guess selective hospitality is their specialty. Felt like they were auditioning for Rudest Staff in America. Lovely little outdoor setting near the old railroad station. Food is passable - my significant other had pretty decent looking Cobb Salad save for the overcooked hardboiled egg. My focaccia salami sandwich was thin and lifeless, the "house made" focaccia doughy and slightly stale. Both items were overpriced in a typically Healdsburg way so that was no shocker. We have been coming here since they opened and we love the staff here. Rachel, Floyd, Corinne', Liz and Megan. I just never see any of them. The beer is okay. The food is okay. What brings people back is the staff and we just don't really want to come if we don't know people. Also the menu is inconsistent and I've seen on busy days, there is zero management support. These people just run around and do their best while customers think they're the only people in the restaurant. Ambience is cool. It's crazy how many times we counted staff standing around talking to each other while you could see three or four tables with empty beers looking at them like can I get another beer!!?? The bummer is they have Great brews!! If you want a beer or your going to go up to the bar! For now anyway. Small parking lot I think maybe 12 cars can fit in there. There is never any tables available when you get here after 5 pm but they actually moved the table(out to the sun into the shade) right next to our table where we cannot have food or beer service makes no sense I get the whole permit zoning issues but that's just ridiculous. Food going out looks decent I'm gonna give it a few weeks for them to work out the kinks and probably go back next month to see if they figure it out the whole service situation. read more
