My wife and I were in Healdsburg late night and were starving. One of the very fews spots that were open was Izzy's Burger so we gave it a shot. I'm really glad we did. The menu is awesome. Lots of great burger choices and anything you order is going to be amazing. We ordered the chicken sando as well as the piggy and they were both so amazing. We topped it off with an order of fries (a must) as well as some nice adult beverages. The Healdsburg location is excellent in location as well as decor. It's a classy burger joint lol. It's clean, with nice materials, and I really like the picture frames that communicate their history. One of IGGY's big strength is their customer service. That particular night, Miguel was the front end manager and he was welcoming, friendly and a champion of the business. He ordered the day's special: Jalapeño burger with fries and drink. He wolfed it down. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Rootbeer washed it all down. I had the breakfast burger with a fried egg, bacon, and chipotle mayo. Wowza!! I can wake up like this everyday!! My favorite part is the bun. Usually in wet burgers like this, the bun disintegrates. Not here. The buttery edges stayed crisp and the bun stayed together. In & Out could use a lesson or two on bun prep from this place. I ate for the first time yesterday in Healdsburg, the burger is a smashed burger and meat was Fabulous.....I ordered it in lettuce leaves but for me the lettuce was very soft and it needed a different type of lettuce with a Crunch maybe romaine but not soft but crunchy and more moist Romain.....The Steak Frites were Fantastic, it seems like nobody does that anymore they just do thin I like the size of the Steak Frites Please do not change that, the Service was Fantastic so accommodating and wanting to make it right........It is hard to find people that work in this industry that have Passion and the man working yesterday had Passion...... Hugged by two buttery Hawaiian buns. Our own elegant take yet worthy of the name Piggy.' We both ordered the Thick Cut Fries: double fried is a nice touch for a little extra crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside. Iggy's shares a space with Angela's Ice Cream so I imagine it will get crowded inside when both are busy. They have some indoor and outdoor seats, but you can always take your treats across the street to enjoy in The Plaza. My opinion is that they are getting in their own way, but on the path to being the best burger in Sonoma County. Ordered a "piggy"(cheeseburger) & onion rings to go. Flavor and quality were excellent but they don't put lettuce or tomatoes on the burgers. This deviation is seriously disappointing as those contrasting textures and flavors are necessary. Had they included those components, and used a bun that didn't melt, it would have been the best burger I've ever had. The onion rings, btw, were perfect. The other mark against them is that they don't take to go orders by phone. They use delivery services in town, but if you live in the country, you have to drive in, find parking, and wait. It was a short wait and the staff was terrific. They are open until midnight on Sat, making this the only real food you get in the 'burg after 9pm. Good move, guys. They offer ice cream, as well. Though I'll make sure I have all the fixings at home when I order another burger, I'm willing to fight for a parking place to go back to try the lemon bar ice cream. read more

Lame use of tech and a poor focus on the customer. When you click on the website link from their Sebastopol location it takes you to DoorDash for the Healdsburg location. If you don't notice and try to cancel by calling the store you get a voicemail that only identifies as the ice cream shop which informs you that they don't check their voicemail so you should email them. Better hope you never have an issue where you want to talk to someone because they don't want to talk to you. About as lame of a point of view as you can get. You're not an online company that avoids its customers - you are literally in service to your human customer. Try to be a little more human in your availability. read more
