3.5 stars here on our one visit. Quiet night here. Wide ranging menu. They have a unique large charcoal grill inside the restaurant but not being used during our visit. Maybe not in the off season. They use this for steaks etc. and allow patrons to grill their own and the price is reduced by three dollars. Interesting concept. Light meals for us here tonight. Two taco salads, one beef and one chicken. Shells were freshly fried, nice and puffy. The ground beef was not enjoyed by my DW. Meat was dry and there was a bad greens to meat ratio she felt. By comparison, my chicken was delicious. All the veggies were very fresh. I finished every morsel. Service was perfunctory. Hope to try out the grill someday. read more

This place is awesome! We came in around 30 minutes before closing time and they were still welcoming and super nice. Our server was super interactive and was very chatty. The portions of food at this place is wild! The BLT sandwich was huge and was delicious, same with the pulled pork sandwich and steak. We came here for alcohol but was told they don't serve it anymore. We were sad but decided to order food anyways. So happy they had a vegetarian options for a burger. respectfully the worst run restaurant throughout my rating history of the last five years. came in with a large group, we had made a reservation for in 25 minutes, got there- no parking. got in five minutes early & they said they wouldn't honor our reservation and had to wait another hour and a half. after speaking with the two people at the desk, they gave extremely negative attitudes, basically telling us off. we asked if we could wait at the bar but they "don't have alcohol". in conclusion would never go back, would never suggest it to anyone. -atmosphere was smokey, not a lot of room, and there isn't a waiting area. -staff obviously was the absolute worse. idc if your short staffed or if your busy, you don't start by being an absolute a**. -food, didn't get to have but asked a couple if it was good & they said if your desperate it's ok. hope this helps!! read more

We returned--were here in 2021. Still looks like a bingo hall. Staff seemed stressed, but we were seated right away and well served. Steaks were good sides were good. Portions were huge! We were happy with our choice to return, but disappointed that they were not grilling on the huge in dining room grill like last time. I'm giving this place a 1 star review and I haven't even had my food yet. The wait time for a table was minimal, the place was busy but there were adequate staff working. I can't blame the experience on a slow kitchen. My partner and I ordered water, he ordered a fish dinner and I ordered steak. It took our waitress 20 minutes to come by to take our drink ordered. We waited 20 more minutes before we finally asked if we could have our water. She apologized for the delay and it was no big deal at that point. We were staying in good spirits because it was our first night out for vacation. I also figured that we would get slightly better service at that point. I was wrong. I'm at the table now and it's been an additional 40 minutes and we haven't been checked on and there is no food in sight. This is definitely a local treasure :) After a long day of driving, we arrived at Foggy's for dinner. It was lively, clearly a favorite among the people who live around here. There is a massive grill in the corner where they literally cook your meat fresh from the refrigerator next to them- not frozen. Our server was a delight :) She was attentive, kind, funny, and personable. She was working so hard, running all over the place with hustle and passion!! Our food was amazing- starting off with the crab rangoons was a good choice, and the sweet and sour sauce that came with them was to die for. The whitefish tacos were tasty, adorned with fresh veggies that made them all the better. The burgers were amazing and cooked very well, to quote my brother, "this burger glistens." The fries were amazing, and ranch was creamy. I really have no complaints. :)) Their alcohol license was expired due to the recent passing of Foggy, but that doesn't upset me. A dry night could do a lot of people some good. My heart goes out to the family and employees of Foggy's who are experiencing such loss at this time. This place is obviously a local favorite since it was relatively busy mid-afternoon. We also noted that they had plenty of staff working the dining area with some prepping for the dinner service. Our tour company operator suggested Foggy's for a meal before our trip. We should have been told before we were seated (or at least before we ordered) that they only had one chef working and it would be a long wait for our lunch! Instead, we were given that information only after our food finally arrived. We ate a few bites and the rest we packed in boxes to take with us. Truthfully the food wasn't worth the wait. read more
