Came for Wing Wednesday! 50¢ wings from 5-6PM (just note it's one drink per 10 wings). We ordered at the counter and food was brought to our table. We ordered 20 total: 5 ghost glaze, 5 Nashville hot, and 10 lemon pepper. The Nashville hot and lemon pepper were easily my favorites. The Nashville hot had a crispy exterior with heat that wasn't overwhelming but just enough. The lemon pepper was super lemony in the best way. We got spicy ranch on the side to dip the wings in. Definitely coming back for this special again!!

I've heard great things about foghorn taproom and was super excited to try! This is a cute spot with a causal pub vibe. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the food though. The wings were great- juicy, crispy, and super spicy. I would definitely come back for their happy hour and just get the wings. Their chicken sandwich, however, was nothing special and even though we ordered medium spice, it was not spicy at all. Fries were great tho!

Grabbed dinner here around 8 pm during a weekday. You order at the counter and receive a number to put at your table. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich ("spicy" level) and seasoned fries. Food came out in about 5-10 minutes. Fries were solid -- amazing crisp and great flavor. Fried chicken sandwich was very mid -- chicken was not spicy at all and it was kinda dry. Was sad I didn't like the chicken sandwich because I heard good things. Overall an alright meal, saved only by the fries.

the menu is simple, but they are really affordable prices for the generous portions! the nashville fried chicken sandwich ($14) was crispy and seasoned well, although "medium" spicy wasn't spicy at all to me. the loaded fries ($13) was essentially the burger ingredients on fries but it was a great deal. doordash has a $10 off $20 deal so the whole meal was a steal. the food came out fast too and the staff were friendly. the restaurant wasn't busy at all on sunday night, but has a nice chill ambiance

Affordable and delicious! My friend and I stumbled upon this place and were thoroughly impressed and satisfied with our drinks and appetizers. price: ~$15/person We got the beer flight for $12, which gets you four 5oz pours. We got the lager, sour, hard kombucha, and stout and loved all of them. We also got the seasoned fries, which came out piping hot and flavored to perfection. The fried chicken was crispy and each fry was thoroughly seasoned with plenty of coleslaw. Loved every bite of this! Service was super speedy and straightforward. Seems like a good place for small groups and families. Would definitely come back for more of their fries!

Great food. Lots of beer on tap to choose from, great service, and lots of tvs to watch sports. No notes.

Ordered the Chicken Sandwich, Loaded Fries and Pizza for delivery. Everything tasted good but also a bit mid. I'd recommend getting the pizza if you're getting food.

I usually go to the Foghorn Taproom in the sunset but wanted to check this one out since I was in the area. I will say I think I prefer the Sunset location over this one. The chicken was cooked perfectly, but I felt that out wings did not have as much sauce as I would expect them too. My favorite sauces are always the buffalo and mango habanero. We tried the garlic Parmesan for the first time, and didn't enjoy this one. It did not have as much flavor as I would have hoped. Overall, I like foghorn taproom, but will probably continue to go to the sunset location.

I made a reservation well in advance for a party of six and arrived about 15 minutes early, expecting that having a reservation would guarantee us a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Despite having separate lines for reservations and walk-ins, both were being let in at the same time, making the reservation process feel meaningless. When we finally checked in, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unsure of how to handle the situation. We were ultimately seated in a back corner with a very poor view of the TVs, which defeated the entire purpose of coming to watch the game. To make matters worse, we were placed near an area with dirty dishes and constant foot traffic, which made it noisy and distracting. If you're planning to watch an important match and want a reliable, enjoyable experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of places that better manage reservations and prioritize the viewing experience for their guests. Unfortunately, this was not one of them, and I won't be returning for another watch party.

I stopped by around 4:30 p.m. and there were a few tables where I saw folks finishing up their work day on their laptops with a beer. It's neither overly crowded, nor overly loud, which is perfect for getting work done. Since it was the World Cup and many guests would be camping out for the entire match, table service has a per person minimum spend of $25. This is a really a non-issue because a cocktail is around $15, so two drinks, or one drink with some food, will easily hit this minimum. My wife and I shared crispy pork schnitzel ($17) and an order of their deviled eggs ($12). The deviled eggs were nicely seasoned and included a small salad shrimp on top for some variety. The pork schnitzel was perfectly fried and the potatoes in the included side-salad was well-cooked and not over dressed. I would recommend enjoying the schnitzel with some mustard. Both drinks that I ordered -- an Old Fashioned and a Boulvardier, were well prepared. No notes here. Service here was top notch. Throughout our stay, our server checked up on us multiple times and we never had to wait long to place another order for drinks. Tipping options on the receipt include pre-calculated 18%, 20%, and 22% options (on top of the 5% SF Mandate). Last but not least, the restaurant had clean bathrooms and a bunch of large TV screens on every wall. If you're looking to watch a sports match, Sam's Tavern is the place to go!

All seating is bar style with high tables hence the name "Hardwood Bar." The food was okay and I'd much rather go to Fikscue if I'm feeling BBQ next time to be honest. We shared ribs and each of us got an entree. One of my friends often orders from here for delivery and was excited to try it in person so that the food would be hot. Surprisingly, our tri tip and brisket came out slightly cold so it wasn't that different from delivery... The ribs were okay and not the most tender. Our server was great and service was good despite the restaurant being relatively full and served by one person. What I find the most perplexing is how they calculate the "SF mandate" fee and sales tax. I'm local to SF so I'm used to restaurants tacking on this "SF mandate"/"SF healthy mandate" fee, but their calculations just seem a bit off (see receipt). If we're calculating this correctly, 4% of $130.40 should be $5.22 and 8.63% of $130.40 should be $11.25. If you include the SF mandate fee in the tax calculation, then the $11.74 is right (if you include their calculation of the SF mandate fee). I'm not going to argue over a 50 cents or so but it's the principle of it! They should definitively state the actual % of 4.35% they're charging instead of just stating 4%. I mean at scale -- it adds up right? It rubbed me the wrong way for sure.

Cocktail offerings are also below average, and it's strange that they offer one Pinot Noir for their red options. (This is California!) And there is one bartender/manager who isn't familiar with many standard cocktails... So you have to work around these limitations...at a large bar. Evidence of this two-star review is the low turnout of customers on even a weekend night. Just 2-3 people in this large space. Playoff game nights are better, but hardly the standing room only situation we saw at the old SFAC. It's a pity because they would have tons of business given the lack of big sports bars in this part of town. We don't know how they keep the lights on now. I hope they improve their game -- because they need a serious timeout. (In comparison, check out The Fishbowl up the street...they are packed every Friday, big game or not. Small but mighty. We ordered 2 western burgers, 12 count bone-in wings (half bbq, half Hawaiian), and an appetizer of corn dogs, tater tots, bacon Mac & cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks.
