I love coming here for my birthday week. I came here with my best friend that I've known since undergrad. We always come here at least once a year. This buffet has the best market side table salad buffet you'll ever have in your entire life. The meats here are so delicious the previous times that I've been here the meats had a liver kind of taste and smell, and I had mentioned that to the manager and ever since then I have not noticed that liver taste or smell ever again. The meats are absolutely so so delicious now I can't believe how delicious it is. I love getting the crème brûlée here. Nobody does a better crème brûlée coating on top. Nobody does it better than here. Next time when I order a crème brûlée or if I know I'm gonna order a crème brûlée during brunch I'm going to save some of the strawberries for the crème brûlée because around 1:45 PM is when they start taking some brunch items away and replacing them with the dinner items the dinner starts at 2 PM. The service was super spectacular. If you wanted a specific meat, you can ask your server to see when it will arrive so you can paste yourself while you eat. My best friend got the bloody Mary and wow was it loaded with lot of fun stuff in the bloody Mary and he said it was the right I'm out of spicy. I can't wait to come back here again. Delicious dessert, a good place to go for a lot of meat, but i recommend not going during holidays because it is super packed! Something i wish they explained better is the option when choosing to do the all you can eat. My husband and i went with the little more expensive which includes lobster tail and bone marrow with toast. It is a one and first time ordering, afterwards it is an additional charge. Absolutely wonderful service. By far the most attentive servers I have ever had, and not just for the table-side meat service. My water glass was never less than half full, and they cleared plates like machines. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions. The inside space is expansive, and can be used by groups of all sizes, or a casual group looking to take advantage of the bar. We chose the Full Churrasco experience for our first visit to Fogo, which means we started at the gorgeous buffet to sample salads, vegetables, stews, soups, cold meats and cheeses. Then we came back to the table to flip our "we want food" token to the green side, starting a parade servers carrying different hot foods (beef, chicken, pork, cheese, pineapple). You either use your tongs to grab a slice, or the server will use their knife to place a chunk on your plate. (see the photos) My favorite items from the Churrasco service were the Bottom sirloin, the sausage, the parmesan pork, and the pineapple (honestly so good). We sipped on Brazilian limeade (it has condensed milk in it) and ate sides of mashed potato, yucca fries and gluten-free cheese bread while the different hot food walked by. We had three different sauces for the meat- chimichurri, horseradish and peppers (though it really didn't even need it). though we were very full at that point, we ended with a piece of chocolate mousse cake. We have not been here for several years and thought it was time to go again. Friday evening and the place was pretty packed. That being said the place has lost it charm, it now fells more like a cheaply all you can eat buffet place. Certainly not as formal as it used to be. Our Holiday plans looked different this year and to our surprise, Fogo de Chao was open on Christmas day! We fell in love with Brazilian steakhouse through the Fogo chain MANY years ago and it's a total treat when we go. Fogo de Chao just isn't the same. The experience, the cost, the customer service, the quality...all around more disappointing than other options in the area. First, we were greeted with this line, "please keep your stay under two hours. " What. A. Warm. Welcome. [Yes, this set a negative tone right from the start.] Our table staff took it upon themselves to upsell for the Christmas Holiday. Offering us still or sparkling water from the bottle, but not disclosing that there would be a hefty price tag attached to it. The way it was presented was extremely sneaky and dishonest. Throughout the evening, many carts of speciality alcohol rolled by. We didn't take advantage of these specials, but it was a nice touch for the Holiday. Overall, our table staff was extremely inattentive and not friendly. We were surprised to see a "Customer Service Manager " going table to table...checking how the experience was. What we found interesting is that the rest of her/their team wasn't trained to put the customer first. Seems like a silly strategy. The most disappointing part of the entire experience was the lack of guachos serving. When we flipped our cards to green, we sat for over 12 minutes before a single person offered us a cut of meat. The "Customer Service Manager " beat them to our table (for the second time). Her presenting question was funny, "how is everything so far?!" As we sit with nothing on our plates. We learned very quickly that our strategy for the evening was, "I'll take two slices, please." By doing so, we filled up quickly and honored the two hour limit. Our final disappointment of the evening came when the check was delivered. The Christmas meal price was $10 higher than the price displayed on the menu they gave us. The receipt said, "Holiday dinner". But this was never disclosed to us prior. We didn't mind, but it felt, again, very dishonest. My family and I visited Fogo de Chão after the Bobby Lee show, excited to enjoy what should have been a premium dining experience. At $72 per person for the Full Experience, we expected quality and attentive service. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. The biggest issue was the long wait between meats coming to the table. We frequently found ourselves waiting up to ten minutes for the next offering to come around -- and this wasn't because the restaurant was busy. It was 9 PM and the restaurant was far from full. When the meats did arrive, many were overly salted, and several had a flavor profile that honestly tasted either spoiled or poorly prepared. Something was clearly off. Hours later, I found myself incredibly nauseous and curled up in a fetal position waiting for the feeling to pass. That alone guarantees I will never return. I sincerely hope our experience was the result of arriving late and being served meats left over from earlier in the day, because if this is the standard experience, that is deeply concerning. The salad bar was equally disappointing. Much of the food looked as though it had been sitting out for hours and lacked any sense of freshness. Had we not been starving after the show, simply seeing the condition of the salad bar likely would have caused us to leave and find another restaurant. Love coming to Fogo! Their salad bar is excellent and I especially love the Parmesan cheese with the asparagus and marinated mushrooms. The meat selections are absolutely amazing and I love the variety of chicken, beef, pork, and lamb. My favorites are the bacon-wrapped chicken, bacon-wrapped steak, and all lamb options! Sometimes the staff offer cheese and pineapple -- if you see these, say YES to both! The environment here is very nice, and attire is formal but not overly stuffy. Did the indulgent churrasco over lunch as a solo treat. They are quick to bring over multiple plates of fried goodies to fill you up including yuca fries, plantain and these delicious buttery mashed potatoes? I also opted for the lobster tail and molten lava cake. I got plate after plate of delicious beef and lamb with a few Parmesan chicken and pork pieces being allowed in as well. It's all you can eat and it's done extremely well. I also LOVE the black beans you can get from their self serve food bar. My only complaints if I had some were how rare the meat is cooked. I'd prefer medium or higher but meat here skews heavily on the rare to medium rare side. I always ask for the most done parts but parts of the experience were still mooing on my plate. I've also previously had their caramelized cheesecake before and I thought it was nasty but that's just my opinion as a cheesecake lover. Was it expensive? Went to Fogo De Chao for happy hour and it was a great experience! I honestly hadn't known they had happy hour, but loved being able to dine in without having to indulge in the full dinner experience. The happy hour menu has quite a few options including different meats, yucca, crab cakes, and more. I unfortunately did not get to take as many pictures because the food was just that good! Flavorful, fulfilling, and some of the tastiest food I've had in a while. Our service was great and they checked on us frequently. It had been 20 years since the last time my husband had been at this particular location. It is still a lovely location and the service was great. I've been here many times, but this is the first time I ever came for brunch. In fact, I didn't know there was a brunch until we sat down. As always, the ambiance gives off a fancy vibe, but not so fancy that I feel like I need to be dressed to the nines. The differences with brunch: omelets station, waffles, sausages, and breakfast potatoes. For the most part, these were fairly standard. I enjoyed what I had, but it wasn't the top of my list. My only complaint is that they ran out of potatoes before I got to the salad bar and it was never refilled in the 2 hours we were there. The wait staff was very good. They kept checking on us to make sure we got the meats we wanted and they were on top of the drinks. I love the Brazilian limeade, and our waitress never let it be emptied for more than a couple of minutes. Previous experiences, I have been ignored for all of that, so I'm pretty happy with everyone this time around. My favorites were the fried cheese, salmon, and lamb steak. I had my family with me including my grandmother who has dementia. The staff treated us so kindly I was almost brought to tears. Before the night started I was extremely anxious about how dinner would go. It can be hard having the family together, especially when caring for someone with dementia and a five year old. I wasn't able to get everyone who served us names but I for sure want to shout out Ryland and Elita. Your generosity and kindness will most definitely not be forgotten. We had a 7 PM reservation but found no valet signs until we reached the corner past the entrance. Once we located it, the valet was quick for both drop-off and pickup. Initially, we were seated near the bar, where guests lingered. Unfortunately, no server greeted us, but manager Michael stopped by to check in. He took our drink orders right away after learning no one had been to our table, but our drinks (a limonada and beer) arrived after the food, as the bartenders seemed overwhelmed. Regarding the food, while the sides were good and the salad bar offered some decent options, the steaks were mostly overcooked or very rare. The overcooked steak was tough and nearly grey, while some were under-seasoned. The bone marrow and chimichurri were excellent--rich and flavorful. We were frequently offered chicken and pork instead of steak. A female server checked in halfway through our meal but never returned. Michael was the only one checking in regularly; he even asked about our meat preferences and arranged for them to be sent over. When we asked a male server for the bill and a box for the bone marrow, it took about 15 minutes for him to return with a small box that didn't fit. We reconsidered ordering to-go meat and dessert due to the slow service. When we received the bill, it was incorrect. Michael came back and clarified the mistake, offering to comp one of our meals. A lovely celebration of my dad's special birthday. My dad and stepmom had not been to Fogo de Chao and really liked it. Meat was almost always super-fresh from the fire - and was cooked exactly as we requested. We wanted to be sure we got lamb chops and lamb picanha (top sirloin) so we specifically requested they find us with those. Just great. Be sure to ask for chimichurri sauce - just great. We loved the appetizer/salad/sides bar although years ago it was even more lavish (hearts of palm and mire cheeses in the past). However: winners were pear/arugula salad, roasted artichokes, fresh fruits (perfect papaya and berries!). I skipped the fejoada this visit since I wasn't hungry-looked great though. One surprise was the whole roasted pineapple - cinnamon dusted and lightly browned from the fire - delish. Haven't had that at Fogo de Chao before - how have I missed that? Drinks were good: hibiscus caipiriña was a standout and all the others were made well. Super good service. General manager Matt was great on the phone explaining wine corkage to me and staff gave us a table that was a little quieter so my dad with hearing aids would be able to hear better. First, this is a beautiful restaurant. Everything is shiny and well maintained, including the restrooms. The proteins are succulent and delicious. I favored the beef more than the chicken and pork. However, my all time favorite is the grilled pineapple. I've been on a few occasions. The first visit was surprisingly terrible. The server was completely overwhelmed and was doing the best she could but it was a lot of work. The proteins rarely made their way to our table (with our chip request visible). The salad bar options were scarce and the hot items were cold. No drink refills and several apologies from our server. We did speak to the manager and that went pretty well. The manager heard our complaint about the experience. She did not make excuses or attempted to tell us why we should just accept the poor experience as is. Instead, she listened agreed, apologized and sent a gift card with a request to give them a try again. We came back bc the staff was understanding and kind during this uncomfortable exchange. The next visit was beautiful. Every complaint was a non-issue on our second visit and the manager visited our table and thanked us for coming back. Whew! The customer service really made my night and my sister was pretty happy too. I hate complaining bc it's so stressful. But the staff at this location really made us feel appreciated and welcomed. I am not unaware that my review of Fogo is but a grain of sand on the beach but I'm going to leave it anyway because of how disappointed I was. I have been going to this Steakhouse for probably 10 years at this point and this was by far the worst I've ever seen the place. First off the host was incredibly rude and snarky. I get it, it's a Saturday, but don't treat me like I'm stupid because I didn't know the rest our party hadn't shown up yet. I gave the man the reservation time and name it was under and he proceeded to snip at me about how many people were coming, their arrival time, and how we were not going to be seated until half the party at least had arrived. Cool man, I didn't make these reservations, I have no idea how many it was booked for, or any of those details. Oh and thank you for suggesting that I can go over to your bar to get a drink while we waited or that we can sit in the waiting area. Next our party finally arrives. We're seated. Our waitress is super nice thankfully. Gets us some waters, no plates. Explains the process, and leaves. The meat starts showing up and everyone is super excited. We try as much as we can and I have to say, it's the most unseasoned I've ever had while I was there. I'm not sure if they are just lacking salt in their pantry, have new chefs or what but we were dissatisfied by and large about the taste and that's a completely new development for us given the amount of times we have gone and really enjoyed the food. It was busy of course. I know they have redone everything in the last couple years but they really packed people in like Sardines now and it's difficult to move around so I feel bad for the meat guys. However, we were there for 2 hours and had like 1 round of everything pass by and I'm not sure they like section off which meats go to which section or what but there was many things we saw walking around that never made it over. I asked for about an hour to get the house special and it showed up literally as I paying. We were hoping to be in out, but once that first round of meat came by it took forever for anyone to stop over, minus the pineapple guy he was at our table plenty thankfully. Although I like the pineapple I guess I was expecting to get offered meat since that's what Fogo is known for. We also had issues getting refills. Several of the staff seemed pretty annoyed and short with us anytime we interacted with them and that is not how I recall this experience the last time. I wouldn't pay for this experience again. It's not worth the time, the food isn't as good anymore, and if I wanted to get lip from the wait staff I'd go to a Dicks Last Resort (which I love tbh but at least they are funny). The remodel made it look more commercial and modern. If you're into that good for you but I miss the old Fogo. I'd give any one of the other Brazilian steakhouses a try before going here again, and that is kind of bummer to see. read more

They literally booked thousands of reservations according to my waiter, which is about the only thing I learned from him because the service was complete and utter crap. They had a decent number of staff and they were doing their best, but they were completely hopeless when every square inch of the restaurant was filled in with tables they clearly brought in to pack the restaurant. Can't imagine what was going on in the head of the idiot who decided to make the tables all right next to each other in a restaurant with a salad bar. Really glad I paid over 200$ for me and my girlfriend to be packed like sardines in a dirty restaurant. The vibes inside were, as you might expect, chaotic, disorganized, and classless. I would compare it to a Burger King giving out free whoppers. Food was pretty good, but couldn't even come close to making up for how awful of an experience it was. This restaurant is going downhill. We have been coming to this location for over 10 years. We use to rave about the food, service, ambiance and quality. For the past couple of years, you can really see just how far this restaurant has fallen. This past experience has lead me to make this review. At the appetizer/salad bar, cheese was warm and was sticking together. The prosciutto meat look like it was sliced by a 5 year old with a butter knife... large uneven chunks. The bowl of olives had bruised olives and some where falling apart like they have been sitting in a jar for 10 years. The actual meats that were brought out to the table, well, that is a mixed bag of comments. It was a 50/50 on the quality and taste. The chicken and pork were dried out and over-seasoned. There were meats that were served that were heavily salted and charred to inedible levels. There WERE decent meat skewers but, like I said, 50/50 on what you were going to get. The service was another issue. Servers walking by as if you weren't even sitting there. We had to call several times for clean plates or for refills; only to get disgusted look from the server as if they couldn't be bothered. OR, from what looked like a manager, an over-exaggerated effort to refill rolls after being waved down. Finally, when dessert was served, one of our party was still waiting for their cocktail and again, someone had to be flagged down to call attention to this fact. We had a small group and weren't looking for a white-gloved, red carpet treatment. But when you pay hundreds of dollars for a special night out with family and friends; there are certain expectations... and they were FAR from being met. I was a bit worried about going to fogo after reading some of the reviews on here but it went super well! Parking was a bit difficult but I was ready for that since it is downtown, leaving 20 minutes for parking time was helpful. Fogo was super packed as it was Saturday night but our service was quick with a reservation. Contrary to many other reviews, they did very well with rotating meats and checking up on us consistently! The staff is very knowledgeable and offers different options as well as is super kind when explaining the menu to you and answering questions. The service was a 10/10. I personally liked the meats here better than at Bullvinos. I like how they do not over season it and give you salt and pepper if you decide to add it. Bullvinos I feel was super salty the last few times I've been, and I enjoy having the option of adding more salt if I like instead of having to push through over seasoned meat. The meats were also super soft and cooked the right amount, I tried both well done and medium rare and preferred the medium rare 100%! The salad bar had so many options and a bigger variety, everything delicious. They had a happy hour (all day) for certain cocktails and I loved a strawberry citrus one though I forgot the actual name for it. My husband enjoyed a bourbon drink which was also from the happy hour menu! I loved fogo and would definitely come back as well as recommend it. The food is always solid and has great flavor. The meat they bring around comes quickly and has a good variety, if there is something your looking for and you have not scene let them know and they will get it out. More than just the meat I love there salad bar, which has everything from cheese to soup. You could just do the salad bar and be completely happy with the large selection. The service is prompt abs quick even when it is busy. They do not forget about you or your needs. They bring around extras too such as additional shrimp cocktails or drinks for an extra charge. They do have a new refreshment offer for unlimited soft drinks and includes a desert as well for ten dollars. The ambiance and decor is fitting and upscale for this type of restaurant. I do suggest getting there a little early as the line for the salad bar can get rather long. Overall it's a great place for a group or date night and is also a kid friendly place. read more

Traveling on biz and this FDC was near my hotel. I have been to many of them over the years so maybe I am just worn out with this concept. The salad bar was okay, typical dishes including salads and cheese. What was disappointing was the quality of the meat the dudes with the skewers were bringing around. A couple of the steaks were okay but chewy while the sausage links were not very tasty. The best meat of the night was the lamb, very juicy and full of taste. Overall this was an okay experience and maybe I am just Brazilian steakhouse worn out. Post script, my bill came for the full food experience and $19 for wine. Total was $99 before tip. Quite steep for the quality of food I received. Lesson learned no more Fogo's for me read more

Fogo is always a great experience and I do love it. Came here on Sunday night before Labor Day and it was packed! Good thing we had reservation because there may have been a wait. I loved the ambiance in there, it is clean, full of life and good lighting.. I appreciate that. As soon as we sat our waiter came, made sure we had water etc. We then ordered drinks, those took quite awhile to get to us and then he brought out the sides (the mashed potatoes etc.) SUPER late.. almost the point where it didn't even make sense anymore. The salad bar was good, it was fresh, stocked well, and again, clean! As soon as we flipped our cards to the green side there was meat coming from all over. However, the variety was not it. I know that there is a lot more available than what came to us, and that was kind of frustrating. No lamb, no pineapple, chicken 1x.. really the main thing that came to us was filet mignon, which great, but I came for the variety. Our waiter was SLOW. Very slow, we only were able to order 2 drinks.. and the 2nd drink also came veryyyy slow. Just everything was slow. I get that you were busy but come on. We had gotten there at 7pm which I thought was more than enough time. Because of the pace of the wait staff, we ended up ordering dessert at about 940ish. It came about 950 and the place was shutting down. It was not our fault that everything was so delayed and we felt extremely rushed with dessert. Three different waitresses asked us if we wanted to-go boxes for dessert. I had to keep saying no. All in all, it was good but also a frustrating experience as it is not cheap to go there and it is annoying to be rushed. Do better Fogo. read more

Wanted to love it because the service was impeccable and ambiance was lovely. Their cocktails were great but their food was just not it. The meat so insanely over seasoned that it was just inedible, and I loveeee salt and seasoning. Their salad bar had an ok array of fun and new things to try but much of that also included salty offerings which only compounded the absolute palate fatigue. Overall, I would recommend it to grab a nice drink at but definitely wouldn't do the Churrasco experience. Also I may just be a peasant but when asked if we wanted still or sparkling water with no mention that still was not in fact tap, we said still and ended up with a $16 add on for the water. So just know that before going in! read more
