Came here with a work group to celebrate. The staff were a little overwhelmed but the food made up for everything. Soooo good and was able to share with the table. Fogo is a Minneapolis classic. Not my first or last time coming here

Food was so good! Best burger I've had in a long time. Service was great but it was lunch time so it was not busy at all.

Absolutely wonderful service. By far the most attentive servers I have ever had, and not just for the table-side meat service. My water glass was never less than half full, and they cleared plates like machines. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions. The inside space is expansive, and can be used by groups of all sizes, or a casual group looking to take advantage of the bar. We chose the Full Churrasco experience for our first visit to Fogo, which means we started at the gorgeous buffet to sample salads, vegetables, stews, soups, cold meats and cheeses. Then we came back to the table to flip our "we want food" token to the green side, starting a parade servers carrying different hot foods (beef, chicken, pork, cheese, pineapple). You either use your tongs to grab a slice, or the server will use their knife to place a chunk on your plate. (see the photos) My favorite items from the Churrasco service were the Bottom sirloin, the sausage, the parmesan pork, and the pineapple (honestly so good). We sipped on Brazilian limeade (it has condensed milk in it) and ate sides of mashed potato, yucca fries and gluten-free cheese bread while the different hot food walked by. We had three different sauces for the meat- chimichurri, horseradish and peppers (though it really didn't even need it). though we were very full at that point, we ended with a piece of chocolate mousse cake. An excellent and extremely unique dining experience. Definitely worth trying at least once! I need to go back to try their cocktails and plated menu.

UPDATE: The owner send this nice email. BUT, after sending my phone number NOBODY contacted me yet. I guess they are not serious about this .... NOT GOOD! We have not been here for several years and thought it was time to go again. Friday evening and the place was pretty packed. That being said the place has lost it charm, it now fells more like a cheaply all you can eat buffet place. Certainly not as formal as it used to be. The price is also high compare to other steak houses in town, so not worth it. The meat was a little bit hit and miss but overall not to bad.

Did the indulgent churrasco over lunch as a solo treat. They are quick to bring over multiple plates of fried goodies to fill you up including yuca fries, plantain and these delicious buttery mashed potatoes? I also opted for the lobster tail and molten lava cake. I got plate after plate of delicious beef and lamb with a few Parmesan chicken and pork pieces being allowed in as well. It's all you can eat and it's done extremely well. I also LOVE the black beans you can get from their self serve food bar. My only complaints if I had some were how rare the meat is cooked. I'd prefer medium or higher but meat here skews heavily on the rare to medium rare side. I always ask for the most done parts but parts of the experience were still mooing on my plate. I've also previously had their caramelized cheesecake before and I thought it was nasty but that's just my opinion as a cheesecake lover. Was it expensive? Yes, it was about 100 after tip for their most expensive offering. Would I come again? Absolutely.

Went to Fogo De Chao for happy hour and it was a great experience! I honestly hadn't known they had happy hour, but loved being able to dine in without having to indulge in the full dinner experience. The happy hour menu has quite a few options including different meats, yucca, crab cakes, and more. I unfortunately did not get to take as many pictures because the food was just that good! Flavorful, fulfilling, and some of the tastiest food I've had in a while. Our service was great and they checked on us frequently. I love how open and spacious the space is, so although there are lots of folks dining in it never felt too crowded. I would highly recommend checking out their happy hour!

We stopped in for a meal as we were in the mood for some meat. There is no better place than to go to a Brazilian steakhouse if you are in the mood for meat. It had been 20 years since the last time my husband had been at this particular location. It is still a lovely location and the service was great. It is a very nicely sized location plenty of room for families in groups or for a date. The meat selections were fantastic as always. The only area that I would love to see some improvement in is the choice of desserts to have a non-dairy option. Their drinks are all fantastic. I chose the yellow bird and it was delicious.

I was successful found a spot at the end of the bar and was greeted by a few very helpful bartenders who took very good care of me and helped me with recommendations. As this was a solo dining experience it can prove tricky on what to order without going too overboard - especially staying in a hotel without reheating options. I started off with a cocktail called the Santo Drift. Great flavor and smooth. Would've ordered another, but I came in with a plan to only get one cocktail and one wine. I got the empanadas and they were probably one of the best I've ever had. An instant must order. I then ordered the Entraña (6oz) with chimichurri as my sauce. Very traditional and extremely tasty. I was affirmed with my decision to go with my usual medium rare temp - whereas some cuts it was recommended to go Medium and so on. The meat was PERFECT. To go with it I also ordered the pommes puree with garlic gravy - it's as good as it sounds which is VERY GOOD. To go with my steak I paired it myself with a Montepulciano red - one i am very familiar with and paired nicely with the steak and puree. To wrap things up I am a sucker for an Olive Oil cake - theirs was really good. Doesn't beat my all time favorite at a place near me in my hometown, but this one had a nice fruit element different than the typical berries I am used to going with it. As I was enjoying it one of the bartenders came over and provided a lively complimentary liquor - a small but very lovely serving. The atmosphere was exceptional. The service was phenomenal. The food instantly became a top highlight for my trip, and the overall experience has me wanting more.

Plus with our spouses out of town it was a great excuse for a "boys night out" in downtown. Things were a bit quiet (it's January after all) but that was ok with me. We sat in a great two-person booth facing the huge bar. The restaurant features inventive cocktails so I had my usual when places have skilled bartenders-Markers Mark whiskey sour-made perfectly. The food menu features a lot of very reasonably priced fish and seafood dishes and some pricey steaks like a fillet for $88 (wow!). Sides are separate and they've got a long list of tantalizing starters too although you MUST try the amazing shrimp/avocado boats-4 crunchy little endive boats with a delicious ceviche-like mixture of tiny shrimp. Scrumptious!! And just a lite bite so you definitely have room for the fluffy grougheres with the fontina cheese dip. We arrived around 5:30 p.m., about 30 minutes after opening. The room was dark, cramped, and louder than the small space can really support. The playlist was distracting, and the kitchen staff audibly singing along did not help the atmosphere. Service was well-intentioned but missed the mark. Our server could not tell us whether the main component of a dish was cucumber, fennel, both, or something else, which is a basic menu question at this price point. Timing was off throughout the meal, so if you are expecting polished, well-paced service, I would look elsewhere. The food was the biggest disappointment. I could see an attempt at creativity, but the dishes felt more confused than composed. Several flavors landed at extremes: too sweet, too spicy, or too heavy on fishy funk, without enough balance to pull them together. It felt like "fusion" without a clear point of view. Parking is also difficult in this part of the North Loop, so plan for a ramp, valet, or extra time and money. I would not return for happy hour, dinner, a hosted meal, or a special occasion.

They are known for their beef, but the service and everything else that my daughter and I experienced while we enjoyed lunch there was just off the charts! Greg was amazing, friendly, and immediately was able to bring my credit card up front and we told him we would be back for lunch. The restaurant, located at the Foshay Tower, was only a three block walk from the hotel that we stayed at... The Normandy Inn & Suites. This is what aged beef is supposed to taste like. The shrimp cocktail starter was equally solid: big, clean, classic. Where it slipped for me was the sides. Both arrived barely above room temperature. The baked potato had none of the crispy skin or fluffy interior you expect. It tasted like it was steamed at 10am and sat in a tray until dinner service. The pie was fine but also lukewarm, with no crispness to speak of. Service was friendly but attention was clearly going to the larger parties in the room. Bottom line:I'm going back. The steak alone earns it. Next time I'm skipping the sides and doubling down on the appetizers.
