Came into the area for an overnight stay is looking for a good restaurant and was in the mood for a steak. This location seemed to have positive reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Was able to get seated quickly. I ordered Shrimp Kisses for an appetizer, The Voyage(Mixed Greens & Cider Glazed pork chop) paired with a glass of Reisling for the dinner. The appetizer and greens were on the table quickly and were perfectly prepared and garnished. They really were beautifully made. Black sesame smear on the dish and greens came onion for garnish, great presentation! The shrimp was full-flavored and the sweet chili glaze had just enough heat to make you appreciated, but it was not overwhelming. 7/10 would love to know how to make this for outdoor barbecues My main plate came with a bone in chop bedded on mashed potatoes, and blistered brussels sprouts (which had a wonderfully nutty flavor) presented with a smear of butternut squash. Pairing the chop with the Riesling elevated the dish that much more. I enjoyed every bite, and didn't feel bad picking up the bone and eating the little bit of meat left on it. I asked if I wanted dessert and I wasn't really keen on doing it until I saw the apple pie offering with some type of amazing ice cream. That dish was the perfect ending for the meal. The pie crust was literally one of the best I've ever had where it just melts in your mouth with a buttery finish. So delicious ! I decided to come here for Mother's Day with my family and it was all of our first time visiting this restaurant. I had heard good things from coworkers so it seemed like a nice place to try! It was nearly empty in the restaurant when we got there so it was surprising that it took quite some time to get drinks and our orders put in. I ordered a lemon drop martini and it was so acidic I couldn't even finish it. We would've ordered more drinks but our server didn't come back until we were about done with our food. When the food came out it all looked amazing but the size difference between the halibut on each plate was a bit surprising. It didn't seem like it was actually pistachios crusted either. Two dishes had a side of broccolini on them and it was just steamed, no seasoning or anything. I ordered the steak and shrimp which the steak was amazing and cooked perfectly but the Cajun sauce was quite bland. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but I'm not sure I'd be back just based off how slow the service was. read more

Overall had a lovely experience, the waitress was incredibly nice and I felt taken cared of. They have a nice happy hour menu, but I dined in for dinner. The poke appetizer was a cute display, but felt small for $13 price point. The citrus pesto grilled chicken $26 was good, but not a chicken to remember. It comes with cous cous but the waitress said we could change to mash potatoes. The upside down candies walnut apple pie $12 and came with cinnamon ice cream, it was a spicy cold-warm combo. Always good food, professionally prepared and presented. My "lunch box" option today started with the clam chowder, and followed with shrimp and a fish filet. Service is exceptional, knowledgeable staff (today we had Tina) always on the spot when one has a question, or need. Thank you! Our bartender tonight, Michael was awesome!! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drink options! All of his recommendations were spot-on. He suggested a few whiskeys and bourbons for our old fashioneds, so good we ended up ordering two more! He mentioned his favorites for food as well, almond crusted walleye and mushroom risotto. I couldn't wait to write this review. We were having a terrible day, didn't feel like cooking, let's order delivery. The online menu looks interesting so I placed two orders and waited with anticipation. Delivery arrives (timely) and I leave a very nice tip. When it was time to eat Nooo! portions of one order were missing. I calmed down and immediately called the Restaurant. After talking to the manager, (very politely) it was obviously an oversight, and I was prepared to let it go. Accidents happen, no harm no foul. The Manager was very apologetic and insisted on making things right. An apology was good enough but what are you gonna do? Twenty minutes later I get a knock on the door and there stands the Manager with a full replacement meal, very classy. Not only was the food delicious but it's obvious that McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks takes customer service seriously, I'm very impressed. We had reservations for lunch and were given our choice of seating, which was nice. Our server, Michael, was really pleasant and attentive. McCormick & Schmick's had a Jubilee Menu in honor of their 50th anniversary and that's what my husband and I ordered off of. My husband selected the seasonal mixed greens salad, center cut filet mignon (ordered medium rare), and crème brûlée. I went with the New England clam chowder, crab & shrimp stuffed halibut and upside down candied walnut apple pie. The food was all tasty, but it was disappointing that the filet mignon didn't have even a hint of pink inside when cut, despite how my husband requested it. Even with that, my husband totally enjoyed his steak, and I can confirm it was tastier than my halibut. The mashed potatoes and broccolini served with each entrée we okay, nothing special. We split our desserts and the apple pie definitely outshined the crème brûlée. Given the great service, comfy seating, relaxing atmosphere and decent food, we would certainly return when we are in the area. read more

Happy Hour was a win after work here! Ordered their Carpaccio, truffle fries and Pork Belly Bao Buns. The Carpaccio was a 10/10 with butter thin cut steak with arugula and mustard seed. We also ordered 2 happy hour cocktails- their Lemon Drop Martini and Cherry Mule. I had wished the lemon drop made me pucker just a smidge more and the cherry mule- that is perfection, wouldn't change a thing. The service was good while the Ambiance screamed old money vibes. My husband took me here for my birthday meal and it was a really nice experience! We came on a Thursday evening so it wasn't very busy. He still had made reservations so that helped us get a more intimate table away from some of the open seating spaces. Our server was very friendly and helpful, she made sure we had enough time to look through the menu, ask questions and make an informed decision. After we ordered our meals our server brought us bread and butter. It's always nice having something to nibble on while you wait for your meals. I ordered a Parmesan Crusted Flounder with veg and a Caesar salad. The fish was cooked to perfection, not overly fried or greasy! (Really appreciate that.) The salad wasn't overly dressed, again something I appreciate, and was certainly a nice healthy addition to the meal. The server also surprised me with a birthday treat on the house! I chose the warm brownie and scoop of vanilla ice cream to top the night off. I'd definitely visit here again. Was a lovely evening celebrating my birthday with good food and a surprise dessert on the house. I order from here whenever I'm in the mood for seafood and I'm rarely disappointed. I'm partial to the Twin Lobster Tails as they are always perfectly cooked. However they are *supposed to be accompanied by seasonal roasted vegetables, but I've never gotten the vegetables when I order delivery; instead I get a huge glop of flavorless mashed potatoes, which is hardly the same and I throw most of it out. Dinging one star for the forced substitution. The calamari is outstanding, lightly battered and fried, perfectly tender with artichoke heart pieces and jalapeño slices, also fried. The batter seems to be a tempura, delightfully light and crisp. I also love the lobster bisque, rich and full of lobster chunks. The last order I got had a little pool of oil on top which looked unappetizing but didn't terribly affect the taste; I spooned around it. The restaurant was busy but we checked the self-seating on the bar side. After checking the open seating options, I thought belly to the bar was the only choice. Just when I was taking a seat at the corner of the bar I noticed a sweet intimate space that had space for four. I loved how this table was off by itself, it was a nice dimly lit area and created for a nice romantic space to have a delicious meal. I would say that our service was a bit slow but the calamari came out so quickly. The waitress I felt was just running around. Not developing a connection, but rather getting stuff done. The food was delicious, the steak was cooked to our liking. We split and meal and they served it on two plates for us, which made me happy. The calamari comes out with marinara sauce but I enjoy it most with tarter sauce, so I got a side of that (YUMMY). read more

Ate here for lunch yesterday for the first time. To start I ordered a non alcohol drink, the Spiced Raspberry cooler. NUMMY! and so refreshing, I had all the ingredients at home so made it with vodka in the evening. We both ordered off their munch menu. My friend had the crispy fish taco's and they were just that, crispy to perfection and very flavorful, the jicama slaw had just the right amount of seasoning and added crunch. I have no idea what kind of fish they use but it was tasty. I had the Seafood alfredo, our waitress was kind enough to add some grilled bread to my meal, and even at N/C (Thanks) The scallops were smaller than my pinky nail and unflavorful, quite a few of them but I think this dish would have been better with maybe 3 - 4 larger scallops to cut up on the plate. Maybe would have had more flavor, I put a lot of pepper on the dish otherwise all I tasted was garlic. Could have been so much better with maybe some basil, or mushrooms or something. Our waitress was attentive and the place itself has timeless decor. Delicious house bread with your meal too. Next time I will have the taco's. read more

We stopped here with the family after a round of mini-golf at Centennial Lakes Park. We had reservations and showed up a little early but were seated immediately. We got a fantastic table in the corner, window, high walls, very cozy and private. Our meals were excellent. Everyone loved their food. I had the grilled Cobia with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was served steaming hot. Very tasty. Others at our table had Chesapeake buttermilk fried shrimp, dry rubbed black angus ribeye, Parmesan crusted flounder, and pan seared herb crusted walleye. We wanted a small salad and they let us split 2 Caesar salads into 5 portions. They even did the splitting in the kitchen which was awesome. No one ever does that and the size of the portion was perfect as a quick teaser to the main meal. The bread was served very warm and the fam gobbled that up too. We had a great experience here. What a cute place! Came here for date night and it really did the job! One of our dishes was given to us incorrectly but our wonderful waiter fixed it for us so quickly! Always a wonderful time at McCormicks. I've been here numerous times: outdoor patio on 2 sides of the building, dining room, bar area and private dining room. It's usually always a treat and the service here is impeccable. We usually come for the oysters, and stay for more! This most recent time we came for their national margarita day special and their loyalty member exclusive. We ordered their ancho chile margaritas, which could have been spicier, but were very tasty. As for food we decided on the three course seafood mixed grill: caesar salad, grilled salmon, crab cake, stuffed shrimp, and a creme brule. We also added a cup of their signature lobster bisque, which we order every time! We've also hosted birthday celebrations in the private dining room and always have the best time, nice atmosphere, with wonderful service, great drinks and even better food. We always make a reservation just in case, and are seated right away. Can't wait for our next McCormicks night. read more

This is about pub experiences, not the dining room. I stopped going to McCormick & Schmick's 3 years ago after a horrible experience ordering the oysters. We sent 2 dozen back after receiving them ...they smelled like a stable! We tried 2 more times... they came beck very quickly, but they smelled the same.... thinking they were the very same plateful. Haven't been back until St. Patrick's day 2024. They had a special for $7 corned beef and cabbage with mashed potatoes. The corned beef was deli sliced, not pieces of shredded brisket, the cabbage was underdone, the mashers were instant, and the au jus was watery. What is the use of having a "good deal" that is inedible? On top of it, it gave me a slight stomach ache. Shame on them... this was such a disappointment. read more
