Fast, courteous and efficient people work in this store. And a great big thank you to Chris for proving again and again how many kind people are out there in this world. My battery in my car fob was on the verge of dying. I had no idea how much time I had left when my car alerted me it was low. I panicked. Far from home. Getting dark. Scared. I yelped auto shops and saw I was literally a mile from this company. My concern at this point was to get help. I did not care how many good Yelp reviews they had... just get there. When I walked in every counter was occupied by paying customers. I caught the eye of a person not dressed in uniform behind the counter. I think he saw the panic on my face and immediately asked if he could help. I explained my situation and he was on it from that moment on. He opened my fob and literally in seconds had a replacement battery inserted and put it back together again. And if that was not enough he pointed the fob at my car through the store window to ensure it worked. I will bet I was in and out in 10 minutes. Unbelievable! I am sooo grateful, Chris, for your help. And as it turns out... they have many great Yelp reviews. I am not surprised! Please know you will be taken care of here no matter what your auto needs may be. The store looked immaculately clean and organized. And with so much inventory. This store is a gift to the community.     I brought my car to this dealership for a simple oil change. I had an appointment and arrived on…read moretime, but it still took almost 40 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I didn't make a big deal out of it because I had the whole morning free. When a technician finally came out, he started pointing out supposed issues with my engine, claiming I had a "rat problem" and that parts might need to be replaced. I've had this car for less than a year, and I don't have any rodent issues where I live, so if anything, that would've happened before I purchased the vehicle. My car has always run perfectly--no charging issues, no performance issues, nothing. I just needed an oil change. Five hours later, I finally left with the oil change completed. About a week and a half to two weeks later, I suddenly started experiencing charging problems. It got progressively worse until my car eventually wouldn't start at all. I checked and charged the battery myself, and everything tested fine, yet the car still wouldn't hold a charge. I called the dealership and spoke with the same service technician who helped me during my visit, Chun Lee. I'm honestly shocked someone like this represents the dealership. He was rude, dismissive, and completely condescending while I tried to explain what was happening. He insisted they had told me my battery had voltage and charging issues--something that was never mentioned to me and is not documented anywhere in the report. I reviewed the inspection report and the video they sent me. My battery passed. There were no issues noted. My car had zero problems before I brought it in, and now suddenly it does. Instead of offering to have me bring the car in or helping troubleshoot the issue, he continued to talk down to me and take no responsibility. If this is how the service department operates, it's extremely concerning. In my opinion, this individual should not be working in customer service. I will try reaching out again in hopes of speaking with someone who is actually willing to help. If not, I will be filing a formal complaint against this dealership. I will also never recommend their service department to anyone. I can't speak on their sales team since I didn't deal with them, but as far as service goes, I will not be returning.

    I only started using 916 Auto Repair recently, but Samson and his team have already helped me with…read moreseveral vehicles and I've had a really good experience every time. If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced auto repair shop near Gold River or Rancho Cordova, I'd definitely recommend them. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! Have fun out there & do your research!
