Coming to Fonta's is always a good time. It's the best pizza in Greeley. Now I know what you're thinking, having the best pizza in Greeley isn't much of an accomplishment considering the poor selection of pizza in Greeley. Even if it was somewhere else that has good selection I would still come here. When you come you have to get a large because once you take a bite you can't stop until it's all gone. You also have to get their Greek salad it's amazing and a MUST HAVE. You know while you're at it why not get their fried zucchini to. If you're on a diet don't come in here expecting to not gain any weight, because it is that good! In Greeley, there's several really good pizza places. This is one of them. Great atmosphere and a good beer selection. What makes the pizza so good here is their toppings. They load the pizzas up with premium ingredients. I do like Empire State Pizza just as much. Empire has better crust. Fonta's has better toppings and they load up the pizzas a little more generously here. read more

The Gyro I ordered was absolutely delicious! There was a complication with my side salad. They gave me the regular Greek salad while I asked for chicken and no tomatoes and to add Italian dressing. The manager called me and said he would bring the proper one to my house! I told him that that wasn't necessary but he wouldn't take no for an answer and he needed to make it right. So I ended up with two salads! Excellent restaurant if you ask me. Accidents and misorders happen at restaurants but not all of them go above and beyond to fix the problem. My family and I have been regular customers at Fonta's Pizza for many years now. They have the best pizza in town, great service, and awesome owners. Lately we have been having a problem with the manager. His attitude completely changes the atmosphere of the restaurant. On several occasions he has been rude us and other customers. When we walk in the restaurant he is never friendly or ignores us because he is on his phone. It is also very unprofessional to yell at his employees, not to mention it makes things uncomfortable for the customers that can hear him. Unless something changes, my family will probably be sticking to carry out. It is sad to see one person ruin a great experience for everyone. read more

Don't go on a busy night to Fonta's, as the service is just ok. You do not get refills filled as quickly or at all. The waiter/waitress does not come back to the table at all, so you better have everything you need the first time around. The pizza is very good. The pizza's are made very well with the crust not too hard, or over cooked. The sauce is not over spicy, or bland. The atmosphere has a lot to be updated. The booths are worn out, and springy. Best pizza in Greeley since around 1966. Its something about the ingredients that makes a Fontas pizza FANTASTIC.

Went for a later lunch today and had regular crust (thin) with basil pesto sauce, onions, mushrooms, and pineapple. It was not the best pizza I've had, but the pizza was good, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was friendly and prompt. We will definitely go here again if we are in Greeley again looking for a place to eat. read more

My husband and I just moved to the area and were looking for local pizza places when we found this one online. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and Greek salad. Both were wonderful. The pizza was heavy with toppings that tasted fresh and flavorful. the salad was your basic Greek salad with a good dressing but the portion size was quite large. We ended up splitting the salad and each had a piece of pizza for dinner and saved the rest for the following day. Leftovers were still delicious. read more

Tryed this place the other day for a 4th time and I'm so sad that I can't get the pizza I had the first time I went in. Every time we get pizza it is so inconsistent it is almost as if we were in a different restaurant each time and all were not good, it was very greasy and is soggy. I thought I could get past the dirty floors and gross restaurant for good food but guess I can not even get that. If you do roll the dice and try this place I hope you go an a good day .. Hard to beat the square cut pizza. Also a must to get their famous house salad. It's a toss up between Roma's and Fontas for the best pizza shop in town. Went to Fonta's for the 4th or 5th time within the last couple of month and the food was always good and the waitress very nice and helpful but today we were extremely offended by the manager and specially the owner, ordered the Gyro sandwich who comes with a choice of side between fries,spaghetti or something else included in the $7.95 price of the sandwich and as the menu reads you can "Add an onion ring or a Greek salad for $1.00" so I ordered the sandwich with the free side of spaghetti and the extra $1.00 side Greek salad, after all done get the bill and they charged me $7.95 for the sandwich plus $1.00 for the Greek salad and $3.50 for the spaghetti, get with the manager and he said, it's the price and that the menu is written wrong explained that I should not be penalized pay for something that it's their fault but the manager said it would cost too much to have new menu printed, explained that I should not have to pay for an extra $3.50 then the manager told me that the best he could do is wave $1.00, after explaining to the manager that I would pay the whole thing and he could keep the dollar but would not come back to their restaurant he finally said he would call the owner, after a few minutes the manager said that the owner did not care and the bill was the bill no discount!!!! WOW so you advertise at a certain price and give me a tab at the price YOU see fit because you are too cheap and lazy to have your menu corrected, told you that I will not come back but I'll make sure you loose more than $3.50. Best pizza in Greeley hands down. I love there pizzas and the guys making them (same guys every day and night ) are always friendly, fun, say hello and strike up a conversation. They put love in to there pizzas and you cant tell they enjoy making them. I have to admit I eat there or take out very often (at least twice a week) so I am a huge fan. The gyros and burgers are good and never disappoint. I'm Italian and have high expectations for the spaghetti, lasagna and sauce. The meatballs and sausage are good, The sauce is a disappointment, its to sweet, and tastes like it has chicken base or bouillon in it. Lasagna is a miss if ok at best but I have a feeling they use the same sauce and don't add any extra herbs, seasoning or love. The Greek portion of the menu should be avoided. The waitstaff are great and friendly. I have had a few times which directly effected my dinning experience due to a poor attitude, seeming more interested in there cell phones or conversing with there co-workers/owners at a table . I rate it high because of the pizzas, burgers, gyros, colorful cooking staff, and the fact that 9 out of 10 times its on point. read more
