Wanted to like this place but really didn't. I felt like they lure you in with pictures of awesome looking food with local ingredients and interesting coffees. ...turns out the food is all from the fridge and they heat it up-there was almost nothing in there and the burrito was super bland. When I spit it out it looks like a small chunk of beef or something, probably from their food items on the menu. Great Coffee shop to grab coffee on the way to work, or if you are one of the many guests of the hotel or the conferences it hosts. Not the full Fonte experience per se that you would get at a Fonte in Settle. But for being a small kiosk, more or less, in a hotel/office tower, it is pretty dang good. The service is friendly and quick. The espresso is great. They offer some of their retail canned coffee that you can grab if you are rushed and on the go. The nitro is a quick and easy go to. There are some small bites as well! Overall, for being a small coffee shop in a big building, it does the job, and most of the time does it quite well. At the end of the day the coffee tastes great, and that is what matters most. The majority of negative factors really are just a biproduct of its location in a big loud hotel lobby. First day my coffee drink was pricey but delicious, I mean $10 for a 16oz is pretty high but ok. the next morning I ordered the same drink and a breakfast sandwhich $23. the coffee tasted burnt and no other flavor to it. Ok, the food and coffee were delicious. The two ladies working were very pleasant and provided excellent customer service. That's what got them the 4 stars, but I have a question. Why do they insist on being "cashless" but still put out a tip jar? Where are they going to spend the cash? Certainly not at their own establishment. Bummer!! Normally, fonte can do no wrong with their lattes. Fonte Seattle that is. Tried this place out and I was pretty disappointed. It's in the lobby of Hyatt regency Bellevue. Open space, plenty of places to sit. They have Togo food ( salad and sandwiches, even a few cookies). Pretty big espresso bar. Less food option than Seattle but isn't missing much for the espresso bar to lack in coffee. I got my fonte favorite: sage latte. It was pretty much a normal regular latte. No sage on top, nor the syrup! They forgot to add! I went back and told them about it: they added! So much that it was not drinkable! Boo! Left my cup 90% full! The barista just said awe! Sorry. Yesterday, I ordered a Turkish Latte in the morning, and the taste was tart. I took a couple of sips and I could handle the taste. I took the the latte back up to the counter to talk with the barista, and I told her that I didn't like to taste of my latte. She then spoke to another young lady who I believe was maybe a shift manager, and I explained to her what my thoughts were about the latte. She told me verbatim, it's not their fault that I didn't like my coffee and that I would need to buy a new one. I gave her back the latte they made for me a couple of minutes earlier and asked them to pour it out. So, I donated 9 dollars for a 16 oz Turkish latte with soy. I would rate my experience a 0 if I could, but I have to give them 1 star. I blame ownership for hiring someone to mange a store with poor customer service skills. OMG pleasantly surprised by this amazing coffee shop in the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Bellevue! I showed up here for a work meeting not having high expectations and got the Turkish Latte and it was pure perfection of balance with velvety foam, milk, espresso and cardamon. The baristas were friendly and they had plenty of pastry and food options as well. It is a small cafe with limited seating since its more of a grab and go place in the lobby of the hotel but there is plenty of comfy seating throughout the Hyatt with sofas that you could sit at. This cafe is located across Lincoln Square in the Hyatt Hotel lobby so you can easily walk across the skybridge or from the mall area. read more

This place is ok; not impressive and I don't know why so many rave about it. I had a regular drip coffee, breakfast burrito, Turkish latte (2 trips). Service was less than warm/enthusiastic, but adequate. The burrito was good, as was the coffee (nothing to write home about on either, but nothing to complain about). I found the latte disappointing--would have liked the cardamom to be much more pronounced. For the money, and since I'm typically a black coffee kinda gal, I'd rather go upstairs to the mom & pop deli. I'd come back to Fonte if the deli upstairs was closed. read more
