    Sesame-Chili Chicken bowl

Great experience - highly recommended. Stopped in to escape the heat and get a quick lunch. Nothing but a positive experience. Order at the counter with very friendly service (and a good recommendation) and then they bring it to your table. The sesame chili chicken bowl was the right mix of just a bit sweet and spicy, without either overpowering the taste. Will definitely return and try the baos!

What a lovely addition to Cape May. It's hard to walk by here without feeling enticed to come in because of their bright interior with tastefully appointed colored chairs and bowls. The menu is more expansive than I would have expected (the usuals like shrimp, chicken, tofu but also pork, salmon and duck), and they have bao buns or bowls. They serve pickled veggies with both, and I absolutely adore the little grilled cucumber; it's such a nice touch. The tofu curry was excellent and a great portion size. The owners Amy and Lou are welcoming and really know the locals and have a knack for remembering names. It feels great to support a place like this, and we'll definitely be back next time we are here!

Street parking is available. This is right by the beach so very convenient for the daytime/ lunch. The shrimp bao and the chicken bai and they were good. The shrimp with rice and the chicken with rice were just okay - they were essentially the same filling in the baos.

The food here was amazing, and the service was good. My friends and I got the pork belly bowl, pulled pork bowl, and the mix and match baos--all really good. The vibes were chill. Highly recommend!

Buns--pulled pork, lobster, and short ribs

We enjoyed our take-out dinner from this new establishment in Cape May, but there is a good sized and nice indoor seating area as well as a small outdoor side seating area. We each ordered three buns. Each of us had one with short ribs and one with lobster. One of us tried the duck and the other one had pulled pork. The short ribs bun turned out to be the favorite one! Extra yummy! This take-out dinner was a nice change of pace. It was a light dinner with a good amount of flavor. The friendly young man who was working the register did a great job of organizing our order so each person's meal was packaged correctly. We would certainly return to this place next year!

    Basil limeade with a view

Stopped by for a snack last night, ended up having a full dinner! Everything was delicious and house made with fresh ingredients. We started with the short rib bao, an explosion of Asian flavors and contrasting textures provided by the soft bun and crunchy vegetables and fried shallots. We decided to order the yellow curry tofu with vegetables, which was equally flavorful. The coconut "pudding" was a nice ending to the meal, a riff on the traditional Thai dessert. The guy who took our order was warm and welcoming, and his recommendation of the basil limeade as a not too sweet drink was spot on. We enjoyed talking with the chef/owner, who clearly knows food and enjoys what he's doing. Highly recommended!

Delicious!!! The duck and pork belly were the best sliders. There was kind of a weird sewage smell. But food was worth it!

It has the look and feeling that you are in Japan and not in a cheap, tourist way. The location is really neat, clean, and sanitary. Additionally, they went the next step as we were seated in a table with chairs but the chairs all had soft, pillow cushions, providing extra comfort while dining. I love that you can see the kitchen while they cook as the aromas of the delicious ramen are being prepared. If you see the bathroom there, do not be alarmed to see that their toilet has a bidet set-up. They also have toilet paper if you have never used a bidet before. Now to the best part, the food! There are two dishes I highly recommend: Bulgogi Ramen and the chicken Katsu with the bulgogi rice bowl a good follow-up. The ramen is delicious with the meat being tender, flavorful and the sweet bulgogi taste seeps into the broth, adding extra flavor. The noodles taste fresh and hand-made as well! The kimchi provides a nice counterbalance to the sweetness of the meat and broth. The bulgogi rice bowl is good too for you do not want ramen for the day. However, the chicken katsu is delicious!!!! The chicken is so crispy that you can hear the crunch sound as you bite into it. It is cooked to perfect, thin, and uniform throughout. The rice is piping hot, cooked to perfection, and a lot is provided. The cabbage provided is a nice, refreshing counterbalance to the richness of the katsu and rice. Lastly, get a boba tea drink. The flavors are delicious like the lychee and the boba is not chewy that you will have to bite and bite. One bite and it dissolves in your mouth and is in your stomach. Lastly, the service. Gabriel was phenomenal! He was attentive, gave great recommendations, and made my family and I feel welcomed like we were eating at his house. He was funny, interactive, and accommodating. Overall, great server. Kevin (the host ) was phenomenal as well. He was so humble to come by and serve us our food. He never left us unattended. Last but not least, John (the owner) is hands down one of the best owners of a restaurant I have seen. He is kind, funny, compassionate, and took his time to interact with and talk to all the patrons. He made you feel like family, asking my family and I our names and making great small talk. He was open to talking about himself and his inspiration about his restaurant even when the place was about to close. Owners who stay late near closing time on a Sunday evening, not many do that. Living in Virginia, I will miss this place. Their food is one of the best that I have had and I will be counting down the days I can come back to Rohoboth Beach to bathe in their ramen and chomp into the katsu once again!

We were captivated by the magnitude of terrific reviews Miyagi got, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was unassuming, located in a small plaza next-door to the Safeway grocery store. When we walk through the door, we were immediately greeted into an authentically Asian atmosphere. The restaurant was long and narrow with the kitchen visible to guests. We were seated at a cozy booth. We started with an order of the purple, sweet potato fries, and they were delicious--hot and fresh, tempura style. Each of us ordered a different Ramen bowl. The portions were healthy. The bowls were like a picture in a magazine, so colorful and varied. Unable to finish our entire bowls, we asked for takeout containers. When the server returned, he clearly directed us to separate the noodles and the broth. His attention and concern was impressive. Miyagi is a must in Rehoboth Beach. Once you're tired of eating crabs, stop by for a remarkable bowl of soup!

Elevated | Intentional | Salmon…read more Elevated - This is one of the more elevated dining experiences on the island. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the restaurant is designed for people looking for something a little more special than a casual meal. It strikes a nice balance between upscale and comfortable, making it equally suited for a romantic date night, celebrating a special occasion, or enjoying a more refined dinner with friends or family. The atmosphere feels polished without being overly formal. Intentional - Everything about the restaurant feels thoughtfully designed. The menu is curated rather than overwhelming, with dishes that seem carefully crafted instead of trying to be everything to everyone. The dining room layout also deserves credit. The tables are spaced in a way that gives you privacy while still maximizing the room. Servers move through the restaurant with ease, and you never feel like you're bumping into other guests or having conversations on top of one another. It's clear that attention was paid to both the guest experience and the overall flow of the restaurant. Salmon - I ordered the salmon, and it was one of the highlights of the evening. The fish was cooked perfectly--tender, flaky, and moist--with an Asian-inspired seasoning that added plenty of flavor without overpowering the salmon itself. The accompanying sides complemented the dish well and created a balanced meal. What surprised me most was the portion size. At a restaurant with this level of presentation, I expected a smaller serving, but the portion was generous and left me completely satisfied. I would absolutely order it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Pro tip: Make a reservation, especially during peak dinner hours or weekends. It has the feel of a place people choose for special occasions, so tables can fill up quickly. Pro tip: Come dressed for the atmosphere. While there isn't a strict dress code, business casual or date-night attire fits the vibe and helps make the experience feel complete

I responded to Jay's text that we cancelled. The text inducted that I had to call the restaurant. I called the restaurant and they did not answer so O left a voicemail message at approximately 1:30 pm that I had to cancel our 7 o'clock reservation. I left my name and telephone number, including the time of our reservation. When I did not hear back, I asked my husband to contact them again and to confirm that they received my message. my husband spoke to them they confirmed that they received our voicemail message however they said that they were charging my credit card for no-show. I made every effort to reach out to them to try to contact them, but the restaurant was closed yet. this restaurant not only did not make themselves available for patrons to contact them, but they have the nerve to charge my credit card $50 for not even walking into the door of their establishment. What kind of business is that ? The female owner of this restaurant said and I quote ..,"this is common for any restaurant". My husband and I have eaten out at several restaurants in Avalon, Sea Isle and Stone Harbor and I can assure you we have never experienced charges to a credit card for not even walking in the door of the restaurant so I have no idea what the owner is talking. We have eaten at "several restaurants" in Stone Harbor and Sea Isle area including La Fatina Coast, Lafinestra, Restauranta Luciano, Spagetti, and they have never charged for a cancellation 6 hours before the scheduled and especially when an emergency. My husband and I are seniors, and my husband is a veteran of 25 years and this establishment is only cares about making as much money they can. And to charge people $50 when they made three (3) attempts to cancel a reservation 6 hours earlier due to an emergency so very unfortunate.
