I've been here many times over the years, and usually have a decent experience. Today, however, was different. We ordered take out since they wouldn't deliver to my house (5 minutes from there). Five minutes later, called back and added a few things onto the order. Got to the place after the time they told us it would be ready and still had to wait. Once we got home, we realized that they had completely forgotten about the added on items. But when we called to ask, they just told us it wasn't in the system. It is Saturday night, but why have staff who can't take orders at all answer the phone? And they didn't offer to remake it or even apologize for their error and lack of attention. And the worst part was the food. Egg rolls were soggy and chewy, basically inedible. Chicken and eggplant was swimming in sauce. Wontons were rubbery and just tasted ... off. Chicken rice soup - can't mess that up, right? Wrong. I got a pint of rice with two slivers of chicken and barely any broth at all. The poor quality of the food can be forgiven, but the bad attitude and inattentive staff lost them some customers tonight. read more

Worst experience ever. Ordered food at 336 on 7/6 thru door dash. This restaurant delivers the food not DoorDash but you can order thru the DoorDash app. The food was supposed to be delivered by 4pm according to the app. After numerous phone calls I received the food at 515pm. It was delivered to the wrong house according to the person that picks up the phone. the food was ice cold and was disgusting . This is not the first time this has happened with foo luck one time I waited over 2.5 hours. Never again ! There are plenty of other place to order from. read more

Foo Luck was sold very quietly a month ago the new owners came in with a attitude and a stence of entitlement that the previous owner took so many years to earn. Walked out last night. While ordering a ROACh crawled off the waitress landing on our table on its back. She then picked it up and all of a sudden forgot how to speak the English language So sad that the always good Foo Luck is done. The old owners are back and cleaned up the place. Best hot and sour ever! Every bowl made from scratch. Plentiful fresh made to order portions. Great sushi at a much lower price than elsewhere. Hard to understand some of the negative reviews I've bee eating there and ordering take out for over 20 years. Foo luck is a commack legend. Go there (but if ordering take out on the weekend, be sure to give them ample time, like 45 minutes to an hour). And the boneless spare ribs..............ahhhhhhhhhh! read more

My wife and I have frequented this take out place for over 20 years. They also have tables where you can sit. Their claim to fame is huge portions. They dont disappoint. The food is very tasty and you can get any meal weight wachers style or steamed (we sort of started that trend a while back lol). Their chicken lo mein weight watchers style is excellent. dumplings are great. wonton soup can be a tad salty and overly yellow. but at other times its great. so hard to say. All in all huge portions, cheap prices, decent food. decor is not great but if you sit in a take out place what can one expect. ps they also now offer sushi. they have their own small area for that. i dont have it but i hear its amazing read more

I always see this restaurant and never tried it until recently...I love it!! They offer both Sushi AND Chinese food, which is a huge plus in my book. The sushi is a bit small in size, but their miso soup is my FAVORITE. I also love their vegetable lo Mein. In addition, everything is so affordable!! Order here often now. Love this place! read more

Foo Luck is an above-average Chinese restaurant that satisfies my Chinese food cravings. I grew up eating Chinese food in the Chinatown of major cities so I have a good enough idea of what and how real, States-side Chinese food tastes. Foo Luck has done a decent enough job that I haven't searched for another local, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant. Their portions are on the larger side and can easily be shared by two people. Also, they don't charge extra for brown rice like other establishments and I appreciate that they're not trying to milk me for everything. If you're taking out, I recommend you call ahead to place your order. Especially during the weekend because this place gets very busy. read more

Super average, super salty Chinese food. I know that's kinda normal when it comes to takeout Chinese but Foo Luck is just not good. My family has been ordering takeout/delivery from this place for ages because it's easy and familiar, but the food has definitely declined in quality in the recent years. I try my best to try new things there but nothing is really good. Tonight I had steamed dumplings which were alright but far too doughy, and a rainbow sushi roll that was extremely small for $10 and tasted super fishy. Just not good. Their lo mein and fried rice are ok, but really just average. If my family didn't love this place for some reason (cheapness/easiness) I'd definitely look for somewhere new. Such a horrible experience. My company ordered lunch. We went to pick up our order and there was a roach crawling on the food prep table next to the girl preping food. Just got delivery from them it took about an hour and a half to get my food. This first time I called the women told me the driver was new and slow. The second time a man said the driver was in an accident and they needed to switch drivers. I would have been more understanding and less upset but when I finally got my food the dumplings and soup were cold and my vegetable sushi was warm (like it's been sitting in a hot car for a long time warm). So not only was I waiting for a very long time hungry but when I got my food I was really disappointed. I understand things happen but if my food had been sitting there that long they should of made it new and sent it with the new driver. read more

I don't want to trash the place. So i wont. But the place has been declining for over a year now. I work in the vicinity and used to go often. First of all the place is narrow and getting to the register is annoying especially during lunch when people who don't know good food are cramming in the place oops i trashed them a tad. Next the food hasn't been good. Ironically the Sushi was decent which a co worker orderd and i tried. The place needs improving. So I'm reading all these bad reviews and I feel like I'm going crazy here. I've been to this place waaaaaaay too many times and I can attest to you that still to this day the food there is awesome!! Consistency is the key here. I feel like every time I've ordered the same dish it's come out exactly the way it should be and tasted awesome. The fried dumplings taste great, the sesame chicken is crisply fried and not oversauced the way it should be, and the spare ribs are perfect. Last night I went to the famous Kwong Ming to eat and every bite I took made me wish I was eating Foo Luck's food instead. I've also noticed some bad reviews solely based on delivery. Stop being lazy and go grab your own food. I'd say that the only thing I hate about this place is that they know they're the best Chinese food place around so they keep increasing their prices. Luckily they give you huge enough portions to make the prices worth it. read more

Food is great but delivery service is terrible. On numerous occasions they told me a 40 minute delivery time and it has taken upwards of two hours. When I called to complain on numerous occasions I got no satisfaction and was told that they are busy and all they can do is give me 10% off my next order. Never coming back here. Almost choked and died on two sharp hard pieces of bone left in my sesame chicken. Not the first time I've found a small hard piece of something in my food, but this last one was large and sharp. Could have really hurt me. I've been unhappy with the food here for a while. Huge portions of really good Chinese food - served fast. Service is pretty rough, don't go for the ambiance. You squeeze into a seat, it's pretty tight, you will be close to your neighboring diner. The food is very good Long Island Chinese, Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, Beef with broccoli, etc. Go for the BIG portions of hot, fast, tasty food. Do not go to impress a date.
