It's a small place. Good for take out. The front desk was helpful. The food was good but not very great. But can stop by for a quick momo craving in the area.

Naan, fries & Noodles were great, but did not enjoy any of the curries or momos. Very nicely maintained and very friendly , kind staff.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE their tikka masala hands down best chicken tikka masala i've ever had it's a sweet creamy savory meal. perfect amount of sauce to put on ur rice. Perfect hangover cure in the morning too. Their carrot cake is nice and moist and on the denser side. The icing is more of a cream cheese base. NOOO THERES RAISINS IN THE CARROT CAKE UGH. Still good but ugh disappointment. The pepper chicken was seasoned well and the onion and green peppers add that extra taste.

I don't understand why food shines does not immediately come up as Lowell's best hidden gem. Come in get the MOMO dumplings and enjoy what has to be one of the most addictive and flavor packed dishes this town has to offer. My personal favorite is the Tikkka Masala Mo Mo with a side of garlic naan bread, all absolutely delicious and fresh.

Loved the momos! Great, very friendly atmosphere. Delicious and fresh food. Great garlic knots( more like garlic bread) but very delicious! Spicy, but not too spicy. Loved it!

10 cubes of chicken. Ten. Its like 3 ounces of chicken.

Food is DELICIOUS but oh my god the portion size is small. Chicken Tikka Masada was $18 and it was 10 cubes of chicken, like three ounces of meat total, and the rest of the container was just sauce. See pictures below.

Good service, good food. We had a variety of mo-mo and a noodle dish. Popeyes mo-mo were really good. We're glad we stopped in.

My daughter and I came in hungry today and didn't leave disappointed that's for sure. We tried the beef Momo, gangbu lungsha with beef and Tinthuk with pork. The flavors were all incredible. Seriously so on point and I had never tried the Gangbu which was a spicy, garlicky, amazing dish. I asked for extra spicy and then kind of wimped out, so what the chef prepared was honestly perfect. If we're in the area again, we will stop by for sure. Thank you Momo Tibetan!

We've gone many times, and there's never been a single dish we didn't absolutely love. That being said, if you're a first-timer, you simply must order the momos. These handmade dumplings are the highlight of the menu--little pockets of pure, savory bliss that will keep you coming back for more. Beyond the incredible food, the soul of this place is its owners. They are some of the most genuinely kind and gentle people you will ever meet. They have a way of making every single person who walks through the door feel special and appreciated. It's that personal touch that transforms a great meal into a memorable experience. We are so incredibly grateful to have this restaurant in our area. It not only offers us a taste of the delicious and unique foods of Tibet but also provides a warm and welcoming space. MoMo is a testament to the idea that a restaurant can be about more than just food--it can be about hospitality, culture, and community.

I believe there are 4 Nepalese restaurants in the region and other than this, I've not yet been to one before. There are 2 in Burlington, this one is at Dartmouth College in Hanover and the fourth is in Quebec. What a special experience to visit this Kathmandu-style, Nepalese restaurant. The Base Camp Cafe is in the basement of a Dartmouth campus building. Getting to it is tricky if you need the elevator but go through the Mexican restaurant and down their back hallway to get to it. Everyone reviews the Base Camp Cafe's most famous app: the Mo mo's and with good reason. Our mo mo chicken dumplings were not like the Asian steamed dumplings we are used to. They are so much better! The outside of the dumpling is more like a thick wonton soup noodle with multiple layers. Sooo good! The heart chicken flavor is clean and satisfying. There are notes of cilantro apparent in the center. The golden lentil dal soup, on the other hand, was deflating. It was mainly a broth with tiny bits of lentils and not much else. It was more like eating a curried chicken broth with a lentil paste vs. a hearty soup full of lentils. The red chili curry at spice level 5 is delicious. I chose the veggie curry and it has good heat, not too intense. The tomato flavor in this curry is strong like a sun ripened tomato paste. The veggies in it are delightfully firm and crunchy. The gigantic bowl of stir fry noodles are similar to al dente fettuccine vs. a rice pasta. They have an easy smokey flavor. I requested a side of hot sauce. What an impressive first tasting experience! I can only compare it to if you could taste a crystal lake, it is like this. There is a pure, clear flavor that hits your taste buds first. Like water but condensed. Then the heat builds and builds. And continues to build minutes after. The dark green sauce gracing the top of our rice is also an experience. It's more rich and - again - condensed than any hot Asian green chili sauce I've had. It is at least made of cilantro and avocado, but also a tiny amount of jalapeño with olive oil. Absolutely loved it! I do not know exactly how to write this but there was a bit of a spiritual cleansing here and I'm not talking about digestive. Later in the evening we just felt more relaxed and positive from the high mountain peak dining recipes and exotic wall art. It's as though any lingering negative vibes fled and headed back to the hills. The service at the Base Camp Cafe is earnest, efficient and kind. Requests are met with sincerity and smiles come easily here.

The restaurant was comfy; there was an electric fireplace on the wall which made the room feel homey. We got fried pork momos, which were delicious and juicy. I was interested in trying the C-style, but we had a non-spice eater at the table. I got the pork chili from the appetizer menu and garlic naan for my meal, and my companions got the chow mein and sekuwa. The chow mein looked standard and sekewa was grilled chicken served with puffed rice (looked like rice krispies). Everyone was happy with their meals, but I especially loved mine. There were slices of pork belly in a flavorful sauce with tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers. Note that the pork belly still has the skin on it (which I personally love). My only complaint was at medium, the food seemed mild, but I'll be clearer of my spice preferences next time. I would definitely come back specifically for the pork chili!

The dipping sauce was good as well, possibly a mint-like flavor. The pork momos were really good too, with nice crimping on the skin and decent fillings inside. The chicken vindaloo was decent, though I might have liked more specificity to the flavoring of the vindaloo. The potatoes were nicely textured. The chicken bites were a bit large, they could have been chopped up a bit. The gorkhali khasi (a goat curry) was fairly decent with tender nice pieces. The flavoring was oversalted and again could have used a tad more definition. The bone-in aspect was appreciated as it held the flavor of the meat. The bhindi masala (okra) was fairly successful with a solid infusion of flavor into the okra. The dish was overall too oily though and some steps need to be taken to minimize the oil. All in all quite enjoyable!
